- Malenix is a gender term privately coined by us, the Boot Sector 🌱, on April 19th, 2026. It may eventually be made obsolete by a more publicly available term from someone else. The definition is as follows:
- Malenix (noun) (pronounced MAIL-eh-NICKS)
- A centrigender that is between agender and male. It is not a combination of these two genders, a gender that is aligned with or influenced by these two genders, or a gender that is partially one and/or the other. It is squarely between them, and is therefore neither of them.
- The term comes from the words male, referring to the binary male gender, and the prefix nix- from nixic, an umbrella term for proximal agender-spectrum identities. This naming scheme was inspired by the term femanix, coined by @your-bigender-big-brother on tumblr.
- Only DNI criteria is anyone who would gatekeep this term from others. Anyone is free to use this term if it resonates with them
