I must have heard you wrong

Alexithymiaa: -Brad was hanging out on the couch with his laptop in his lap, his hands resting on the keyboard as he typed. Scrolling through the calendar on his computer, he looked at a few dates before shifting back to his email to finish typing.-
Covet: Kelsey was in the studio, just practicing some of the vocal bits for Don't Blame Me, before intending to get them recorded this weekend. She had her music up there with her, along with the full song that Jason had given her. It was giving her that little bit of fire she needed as she looked up, seeing Brad over on the couch minding his own.
Alexithymiaa: -Hitting send on his email, he lifted his eyes from his computer and looked through the glass at Kelsey singing, lifting his hand into the air to signal her a thumbs up because he knew without pressing the button on the switchboard that she couldn't hear him.-
Covet: She continued singing through the verse, giving him a wave then wrapped up where she was at, wanting to take a break. She walked back into the sound room and grabbed the bottle of water she'd left sitting on the coffee table. "So parched..."
Alexithymiaa: "I can imagine. You're doing a lot of singing so it makes sense. You need to keep your throat lubricated." He said with a bit of a smirk because he was half making a joke here.-
Covet: "I see what you did there." Kelsey said with a laugh, shaking her head as she took back a couple of gulps. "So, how did your guy's night with Ozzie go? Did you have a succesful fishing trip?"
Alexithymiaa: "Not really, we got caught up talking and hanging out." He said with an easy shrug. "But we did head back to Talon to hook up before you got back."-
Covet: "Yeah.. that was at like four thirty this morning." Kelsey said with a shameless smirk " But it was nice, Katie and I fawned about the kiddos until we tucked them in, then we picked our own moods up as well."
Alexithymiaa: "See and Ozzie was feeling guilty until I reminded him that you were probably putting the kids to bed and doing the same thing." He spoke with a laugh, leaning back on the couch and bringing his arms up to rest on top of his head. "He worries too much."-
Covet: "Tell him never to feel guilty in regards to that." Kelsey said with a laugh, "You guys enjoy yourselves. Like you said, it's not like we're not doing the same thing. He doesn't want to mess anything up, there's nothing wrong with worrying a little bit."
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, worrying a little bit is fine, but he worries way too much. I'm working on trying to break him out of his shell a little bit, but it's definitely work." He let out a deep sigh, letting his arms drop. "Did you enjoy yourself?"-
Covet: "Of course I did. I had a hell of a buzz going, but Katie took care of me." Kelsey said with a smirk. "Give Ozzie some time, This has become comfortable for us, but Ozzie's still kind of new to this sort of thing."
Alexithymiaa: "Yeahhhhh, I know I know." He spoke with a roll of his eyes when his comptuer chimed. He glanced back down at his email, reading the one that had just come in. "We're booking the Krucial Kittens video shoot for the sixteenth and seventeenth."-
Covet: Kelsey looked over at his computer, "That's great. Think you'll be able to get it done in those two days with no issues?" She asked him.
Alexithymiaa: "Well considering it's going to be pretty basic? I should be able to. It's just a bunch of filming them jumping around so it's really only one set up. It shouldnt be too hard." He closed the top of his computer and slid it off his lap, glancing over to her. "Did you want to come watch me work?"-
Covet: "I wasn't initially planning on it, but If you don't think I'd be a distraction for you?" Kelsey asked him, "I love watching you work. I just don't want you to feel like I'm babysitting you or something."
Alexithymiaa: "Well I mean, it's your money. I thought you might want to see the level of genius you were paying for." He sent her a devilish grin, reaching his hand out to nudge her knee.-
Covet: Kelsey looked at him raising an eyebrow, "Level of genius I'm expecting, you mean?" She told him, glancing at his hand.
Alexithymiaa: "Isn't it the same thing?" He asked her, picking up his computer and sliding it into his backpack to zip it up quickly.-
Covet: "Marginally. But I suppose you can have that win." She told him, leaning over to give him a kiss. "I need to go get my papers, then we can go relieve Holly."
Alexithymiaa: "I'll take it." He said with a laugh, pushing up to his feet and looking over into the booth. "Okay. It sounded good, by the way. I'm liking the direction you're going with it."-
Covet: "Thanks. Anna helped me with one spot. I'm excited to get it recorded this weekend. Then I'll be looking into my next project." Kelsey told him making her way into the other room putting everything in her folder, before coming back out.
Alexithymiaa: "And what exactly is your next project, hmmm?" He asked her with interest, swinging his backpack onto his back. "Something I can help with?"-
Covet: "Uh, I don't know... It's a song, that I'm supposed to be doing a feature for. It's someone else's song though." Kelsey told him.
Alexithymiaa: "Someone big?" He asked, sliding his hands into his pockets. "Like good press kinda stuff?" He continued to prod as he started to head toward the door.-
Covet: "Good kind of press stuff, I hope. Sort of. He's definitely going to be paying me for my feature on the song.. but its... Jason." Kelsey said softly as they headed for the door, to go out.
Alexithymiaa: "Jason?" He echoed her in disbelief, because after all the shit going on, he didnt think she would actually work with him. "I must have heard you wrong." He tried to brush it off, dropping his bag into his car before climbing into the driver's seat.-
