Octavia scratched her chin as she stepped up to the mic. she turns it on and clears her throat
"Grace Winchester.. please report to Doctor Tennants office? Grace Winchester?."
Octavia liked this job. she was able to announce who would be taking the potion later today and then just.. relax. she had her double bass in the soundproof booth and was able to create and play whatever she wished untill the lunchtime schedual.
she was in her peaceful spot.
she pulled out her bow and stood up to the bass.
most people wonder how ponies can hold stuff and how they can play things like string instruments and be on a computer without fingers.
and most people would see the hooves as useless fingernail type shapes.
but they would be wrong, dead wrong. now for those who actually studied and thought about it they have concluded that ponies can have a small magnetic displacement around ther hooves to manipulate small things and depending on what type of pony it is. Unicorns have little or no magnetic displacement due to them having their own magical manipulation.
octavia shook her head to clear out the sciency stuff and concentrated..
she placed the bow to the strings and her other hoof to manipulate the neck of the bass before clearing her mind and beginning to play.

Grace heard her name be called and hearing from the cheering crowd. she is the Morning conversion.
The morning conversion is the most coveted spot. it usually means that by the time you are done then you get the covited "first meal as a pony" talk and attention.
She walked down to the Doctors office and The Doctor smiles as she enters "hello there. are you ready to step into the world of pony pettys and mane styling and celestia knows what else?"
"Sure thing Doctor." grace said sitting down
"right. but first things first.. you have a story to finish" he said leaning back.
"A story?" Grace said as the doctor nodded "oh.. you mean.. My escape."
"yes.. whenever you are ready"

Grace was in the hospital room. her parents talking about an abortion and her boyfriend ran away afraid of what she would do with the baby.
one thing stood perfectly clear in her mind.
if they were going to kill her baby then she would die herself.
she stood up and walked over to the table. on it was a ceramic vase with a few dozen roses in it.
she set her hand down and it landed on the remote.
the TV jumped on and began to play
"Are you happy?" the TV asked as the words appeared over a cloud based screen.
"no one has been happy in a while" Grace mumbled back slowly picking the roses out of the vase
"Ever wonder what it would be like to live in a world where love and tolerance come standard and friendships can happen anywhere?"
'Great.' grace thought 'another church dad will possibly blame this one on me as well'
"Twilight sparkle here. I came to Earth to help you, To help the human race. I have been asked by Princess Celestia to offer you all the bounty of equestria."
Grace turned to look at the TV screen and sees a purple unicorn wearing glasses.
"You can walk on sunny days, eat as many fruits and vegtables as your heart desires, own a house and even have a job that only you can do."
The screen pans out to show Twilight standing infront of a tree that also had a sign to show it was a library
"All we ask in return is for you to become a pony. it is a painless procidure that changes a human being into a pony."
grace listened intently to the TV
"If you want to accept then i extend a hoof to you and ask that you come to your nearest conversion bureau. a list of them will appear on the screen in a moment. thank you and have a nice day"
the Tv cuts to a diffrent comercial (fruity oaty bars make a man out of a mouse) as grace thinks on the list she saw...
the closest one was opening in a week in St George.
she starts to get dressed. she has a plan.

"and after pulling a mission impossible i was able to slip past my dad and get to here." Grace said
"A nice ending to a not so nice story... but i better not keep you too long. They are already set up and waiting for you at the end of the hall there.. Good luck Amazing Grace." The Doctor said shaking her hand
as grace started to walk down the hall she smiled and said to no one in particular
"Amazing Grace... i like it."
