  1. I met this girl a week ago, and I've been trying to start a relationship with her, but I cannot get a read on if she likes me or not. On the one hand, we've had multiple long, late-night, down-to-earth talks with each other, each involving laughing, close proximity, and extended periods of looking into each other's eyes. These talks lasted many hours and were spent very close to one another. However, on the other hand, when we're with other people, she will interact with me but often won't make any effort to be around me. For instance, she will often times not make an effort to talk to me or be around me despite my effort to be around her. It continues back and forth like this, which is the reason for my confusion. For instance, last night, we spent a lot of time back at her dorm talking (not chit chat, like engaging conversation) at like 3:00 AM after she asked me if I wanted to walk with her, but the next day she didn't talk to me much and wanted to be alone. Am I just being clingy and scaring her away, or I am being friend-zoned? I will note that I've made a constant effort to hang out with her by being with her throughout most of the day, and I am in the same tight group of friends that she is in (if either of those two details makes any difference).
