  8.
  9. Skills:
  10. (Racial) Burrowing: Diamond dogs can dig tunnels and holes with ease, setting traps, moving unseen and fleeing in unexpected directions.
  11. (Free Racial) Sound Hound: Passive; Intelligent canines have to put up with so much. However there are some perks to being a diamond dog. While heightened hearing can be annoying at times (you know way more than a dog your age should) with a bit of concentration and focus, its a very nifty thing. You can listen on whispers and distant conversations with ease; your ungulate friends can’t keep a secret from you. Allies that know that you can do this can communicate with you in confidence escaping the notice of others (except other diamond dogs of course). Also when an enemy engages combat, for the first turn any attack targeting you hits on a DC+2 (DC+1 for stealth attacks and ambushes). You are also unaffected by light-level.
  12. (Free Multiclass) Necromachines: Spell, Recharge 3 after effect ends; Asserts control over the tiny organisms inside a body to ensure temporary countermeasures against mortality. An affected target will remain standing after death, and can be targeted as normal. It is not undead, but if it was hostile, the Necromancer now controls it while it lasts. If it is an ally, it can still be saved with healing. Anyone affected with Necromachines lives for 1d10 turns after death, rolled at the moment of death. Only one target can be affected by Necromachines at the same time.
  13. (Class) Night: Spell; Can bring forth localized darkness that envelops everything nearby. Roll determines duration and intensity. Things are harder to see in the dark, making it easier to hide, slip past enemies and do other things.
  14. (Class) Sharpen: Once per combat, give one ally (or self) +1 to their weapon for the duration of the battle
  15. (Class) Commune: spell; ask the dead for aid. The better you roll, the more helpful they are. Crit fail summons a hostile undead.

  24. Ravine is a male Diamond Dog. He has dark brown fur, with a purple eyes that are obscured by metal mask that covers the top half of his face. Ravine works for Quicksilver Mining, as a pay-for-work mercenary. Due to his non-pony nature, he was always an outcast. But, this segregation and racism used to be harder for him to put up with, as he had trouble taking the verbal slurs the ponies would often sling at him and his kind without swearing back.
  25. Around 12 years from the current date, Ravine was spending the evening on the streets. Disgruntled from his day at work working for the city sewage disposal, Ravine accidentally bumped into rather posh unicorn, who also seemed to be quite disgruntled for different reasons. Although Ravine apologized, the unicorn decided to take out his anger on the diamond dog, beginning to beat him rather savagely. Ravine, fearing for his life and already angered, fought back. Ripping through the pony's fur like a scissors to paper, Ravine left the injured pony on the ground bleeding, who swore he would find Ravine and kill him himself.
  26. Ravine ran down, hiding in an alleyway, but he didn't know he was being watched. After he thought it was safe, he returned to his cheap one room apartment. He woke covered with a burlap bag, tied to a chair. After struggling, his captors saw he was awake. Pulling the sack off of his head, he was glad to see it wasn't the same pony from last night. Instead, he met two ponies, a female unicorn and a male earth pony, who introduced themselves as 'Headhunters' for the Private Spacial Army Corporation, a PMSC who he learned later got it's forces by blackmailing soldiers into working for them. Having video evidence of the assault, Ravine was forced into into working for PSAC, and after a two year training course of disciplining and intense physical training, Ravine was molded into one of the many cookie-cutter soldiers who work for PMSCs. Still, at any given moment, Ravine wishes he could run from their grasps, if only they weren't so tight on preventing escape.
  27. Ravine has done multiple mercenary jobs since then, becoming one of the PSAC's best soldiers, despite his displeasure. After narrowly avoiding a situation in which he thought he saw the unicorn he mauled those few years ago, Ravine took to wearing something to cover his face. Taking some sheet metal and ballistics glass, he cut a mask enough to cover his eyes and nose, masking his identity with a featureless cover. Although stern and soldier like around ponies, he always tries to treat other races with his utmost respect.
