  1. How to make the post:
  2.
  3. - At the top of the thread/ OP post put something like PRESS THE [-] BUTTON IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE IT.
  4. - OP should be anonymous. That way, not 1 person takes the blame, but the collective does.
  5. - FAQ in 2nd or 3rd post, so retards don't spam the thread after not clicking [-] because it's such a huge post.
  6. - only on FRIDAY OR WEEKENDS GODDAMNIT
  7. - OP post should just have general information about what AP / OBE's are, BUT KEEP IT SHORT.

  13. F.A.Q
  14. >What is Astral Projecting?
  15. It is a form of having an out-of-body experience. You project your consciousness through what is known as the astral plane into any different multiverse you choose. Basically, you can project into any world that you can think of.
  16.
  17. >Does that mean I can go to Equestria?
  18. Yes, you can. Keep in mind that there are many different versions of Equestria in the astral and you may not find an Equestria that is exactly as the show depicts on the first attempt. There are Equestrian worlds such as where all the ponies are humanized, for example. You can also go to any other cartoon/anime/video game/book/etc's world. It is only limited to your imagination.

  20. >How to start? More detail?
  21. http://pastebin.com/Bwjaf8At
  22.
  23. >How long should this take?
  24. It can vary based on the person. For some, it takes a week, for some, months. The more you try with different techniques, the more success you may have.
  25.
  26. (2nd part starts here)
  27.
  28. >How tired should I be?
  29. It varies.
  30. If you're super tired, you'll go into Sleep Paralysis easier, but run the risk of falling asleep.
  31. If you're well rested, it'll take longer to enter SP.
  32.
  33. >What separation technique is best?
  34. It has been reported that the 'rope' method tends to lead to faster results, but everyone is different. Refer to the pastebin link for details.
  35.
  36. >Can I bring my Tulpa with me?
  37. Yes. From a more esoteric point of view, a tulpa is essentially a small part of your soul and not just your mind. When you project into the astral, you should be able to see your tulpa next to you by default. If you cannot see or sense your tulpa, try calling upon them.
  38.
  39. >Wait, permanent coma? How do I return to my body?
  40. Only technically, you can easily return to your body at any time, provided it isn't dead, by simply willing yourself back.
  41.
  42. >How is this different from Lucid or WILD dreaming?
  43. Well, on a metaphysical sense, you're projecting your conciousness instead of making stuff up.
  44. On a more real sense:
  45. All progress in the other universe is saved. (Ponies will remember you, and things you've done, etc.)
  46. the character you meet. In Lucid, you pretty much control them all, and they'll awnser questions based on your likes and such.
  47. In Astral, they think for themselves, have emotions, thoughts, memories, etc, and do things on their own agenda, for their own reasons.
  48. The world itself. In Lucid, you can change the world as you see fit. In Astral, once you project to someplace, it is set and you cannot change it. If you want to, you have to project to another version of the world.
  49.
  50. >Wait, what's mental projection?
  51. Basically, an arguably easier and more reliable way to test if you can astral project. You will be aware of both your body and your astral body, allowing you to, say, type while in the astral plane. However, two 'you's is not the max. As many as you can manage is.
  52.
  53. >Isn't two sets of senses overwhelming?
  54. Not entierly. You can shut down some senses. Projecting with your eyes closed is viable, and will lead to less sensory overload.
