Thorned Rose

Seeing as the bartender was hesitant to serve him, his mood got even worse. Was he not an ex thunderbird member? Where was the respect? Did the familiarity all go out the window as soon as he chose a different path. Neklous had been to this place countless times before it was event made into the bar that it is now.

"Seems like it happened just yesterday"

Neklous randomly commented with his head down as he glanced in the direction of the red carpet at entrance.

He remember that location vividly as it was the very spot he had first met Riley and also the same spot he was recruited on.

Despite being served the strong alcohol which came in the form of small shot cuts, Neklous didn't touch the mahogany colored brown liquor. His taste for it had soon quickly ran out the window at the sight of the hesitant bartender.

"I wonder.. am I not welcome here?"

Neklous said out loud. He wasn't expecting an answer but this was his way of voicing how he was feeling. His wellbeing was not a concern of the thunderbirds and he knew that.

He was just at a dark place at the moment and just needed to find a place with alcohol that wasn't very populated.

"There is only one thing that doesn't change as life goes on.."

"Meh perhaps this is fate. "

"Fate to be the thorned Rose that is only looked at from a distant and thus never knowing the feeling of being touched.. of being loved."

Standing up from his seat Neklous headed for the door. He was in a depressed mood and would only take it out on the thunderbirds if he stayed.
