If you have a hack or game with some decent progress that you want to show off or request help for, feel free to request a showcase channel and/or post in out #recruitment channel! Please bear the following requirements in mind before doing either though.

**You must include all the following information in a showcase channel request or recruitment post.**
- Game name and platform.
- A brief description of the game's concept or plot. Aim for three to four sentences as a minimum.
- A description of your progress so far.
- At least one image of progress you've made - can be an in-game screenshot (recommended), a map, a custom sprite, a region map, or any other graphic that indicates you're not just starting.
(For #recruitment posts) - open team positions and info about how to contact you.

**Note that #recruitment and project channels are not intended for members who are just beginning their projects.** In general, if you have nothing to show so far, you're going to have a hard time getting people interested, especially if you're looking for helpers. In addition, we will not accept submissions that are obviously brand new or low in quality - we're not too strict about this, but if it's obvious that you haven't spent a lot of time on your submission or the accompanying graphics we'll let you know.

If you don't meet the requirements, please take the time to work out the details of your project, get the basics in, and once you've met the requirements above, feel free to return.

**Showcase servers**

If you already have a server for your project, we'll be happy to link it in #showcase-servers! If you're nice you'll link back to us in your #server-info or equivalent channel. **The requirements for a linked server are the same as for a showcase channel.** Make sure your server link lasts forever, posts with expired links will be removed.
