	Valinda was born to two purebloods, Zhihao and Yvonne Zhang. Although starting her life in China, her family moved to Russia when she was 5 in order to inherit her grandfather's property after he passed away. All throughout her childhood, Valinda was pampered.  Not just because she was an only child but because she was undeniably beautiful. Her parents constantly doted on her, not realizing how it warped what could've been an angelic personality. They realized a little too late. When she was 7, her parents completely withdrew their affections for their daughter. Poor Valinda had no clue that they didn't want anything to do with her because of her personality. She became demanding for attention that was never given to her since her parents always found ways to keep themselves busy with work. Unfortunately for them, this didn't help change Valinda's personality and, instead, made her more demanding. In the end, Valinda became a manipulative, selfish girl who relied on nothing more than her family's money.

	It was no surprise to her nor her parents when she received her Hogwarts letter, she is a pureblood afterall. Being sorted into Slytherin wasn't much of a surprise either. Her personality didn't exactly match up with any of the other houses. As Valinda got older, her natural beauty only grew. Her gorgeous looks got her whatever she wanted, along with her manipulative ways. With one look, she had all the boys drooling and all the girls admiring. Don't let her looks fool you though. She's a devil in disguise. Cross her and she'll be sure to make you pay.

	Along with her looks getting even better, she began to realize what her parents had done. She realized that they practically abandoned her to the maids in the house because they wanted nothing to do with her. This realization did nothing but make her bitter about her parents and just parents in general. The love and affection she needed during her childhood was denied to her because of her parents' mistake in raising her. She frequently made a show of shutting down any conversations within earshot about parents. But, no matter how much she denied it, she felt a sense of loneliness and hurt for being treated that way as a child. She claims she doesn't care about her parents or what they think of her but she truly does and often writes them, even though she knows they won't answer.

	Now, Valinda's good looks continue to get her through school, despite the fact she lacks in a lot of areas academically. She's notorious for "seducing" first years to do her bidding. She continues to write to her parents and long for a relationship with them.

	If anyone could describe Valinda Zhang in one word, they'd instantly say gorgeous. It's safe to say that they speak the truth. She comes off as a kind and friendly girl with an angelic smile, making people question why she's in Slytherin. Well, there's the catch. Under her angelic facade, Valinda is manipulative, cruel, and cold. She isn't very considerate of other people and only does things that she thinks will benefit her in some way. She's very sassy and so brutally honest that she can have you in tears within seconds. Although a snake in disguise, Valinda is actually a friendly person but she has trouble expressing her emotions due to having pent them up for so long and having no clue how to act around people who aren't trying to be her friend just for her social status. She doesn't show anyone her true emotions. She will gladly talk to anyone as long as they approach in the least annoying way possible, even if she lies through her teeth the entire time with kind words. Valinda, at first, can come off as a kind, non-confrontational type of person but, in reality, she has a temper beneath her chin that is so scarily calm that the people close to her know to never piss her off. All of her pent up anger comes from her past with her parents and the fact that people think she's someone she's not. At times, it takes everything in her to not burst and scream about all of her frustrations; the things she thinks and truly feels towards herself and the people around her.

    Valinda, despite her bad temper and manipulative ways, is naturally a motherly person and has habit of fussing over her friend group like a mother would, even if they are fake friends. She feels like she's wanted and needed when people let her fuss over them. She is protective of her loved ones, even if she isn't close to her current ones, and will gladly give you a bruised eye or bloody nose if you mess with them and, if she is vengeful enough, she'd put you in the infirmary without a second thought. Valinda has always struggled with school and never found it easy to understand things. Being too prideful to ask for extra help, she kept quiet and endured it. She uses her good looks to land her good grades. Although she's not the most advanced academically, she is actually quite wise. She tends to give the best advice whether she realizes it or not. I guess you could it's how she naturally speaks and thinks. Valinda is refreshingly average but her bloodline and personality serve as a mask to cover it up. She's passionate about what she loves and, when she speaks, she makes you want to listen to her angelic voice forever, no matter how boring you think the current topic of interest is.

	[SIDE NOTE] Valinda is actually really lonely and is too busy holding on to the past and the pain she feels from it. She covers up that weakness with her harsh, manipulative persona. Literally no one knows about her past and they just think she was raised with wonderful parents in a wonderful home. Even though her friends are fake, she likes to keep them around since they make her feel wanted and needed, something she didn't feel with her parents. She is so scared of being left alone and tends to cling to them, in a nonphysical way, in fear that they'll abandon her. Again, her friends really know nothing about her true self. She craves for someone to love her and show her affection she didn't have for a portion of her childhood.

The people that know how she is under her angel face, despise her and avoid getting involved with her, although they do admit she's nice to talk to at times.

how you meet:
	She met him when she was busy escaping from her friends to go to the gardens/greenhouse or just wherever there were flowers. She had made sure they were distracted and was making her getaway. She didn't even get halfway down the hallway before he came out of a classroom and knocked right into her, sending her and her things sprawling. She wasn't bothered by it that much until she realized how handsome he was, then she got flustered. He was apologizing profusely and scrambled to help her up, dropping his things in the process. He was frantically gathering her stuff up for her and she just stopped him before crouching down to help him sort both of their things since he was getting them mixed up. He blushes when he finally looks over at her helping him, his mind being filled with thoughts of how beautiful she is. Once they get all sorted out, he offers to walk her to her destination to make up for running into her and she accepts. They walk with each other with him making attempts at small talk while she just smiles and admires him silently.

first impression:
	She was awestruck by his looks and completely taken with his smile. She admired his personality and immediately wanted to know more about him. She loved how bubbly and happy he seemed. He thought she was incredibly beautiful and he thought he was looking at a goddess. He thought she seemed really nice and approachable and felt drawn to her for a reason unknown.

how you act around him:
	[BEGINNING] At the very beginning, she is nice towards him and loves spending time with him. Because of how much time they spent together after their first meeting, he quickly began witnessing how she truly is under her facade. She became a bit cold and very reserved towards him when he discovered her true persona. She distances herself from him and makes no effort to talk to him, the complete opposite of his efforts. Although she's intrigued and attracted to his looks and his personality, she tries to deny her feelings. She is aware of his efforts to get her to open up but she just...can't. She rejects all of his gifts and attempts at skinship but she's lying if she says she doesn't feel guilty and regretful. No matter if she's denying her feelings or not, she still tends to keep a close eye on him since she grows a bit protective of him and doesn't want him in harm's way. She doesn't want to get close to him and risk him leaving her and/or breaking her heart. She constantly pushes him away and eventually gets into an argument with him involving him pointing out how closed off she is.
    [MIDDLE] After their argument/moment of realization, she opens up more around him and slowly begins to accept her feelings. It's more often than not that she's flustered around him. She has no clue how to react to and deal with his bubbly and optimistic personality so she's usually a stuttering mess. She talks more freely in his presence and even lets him initiate skinship, given they both are keen on being closer to one another. She still rejects some gifts he tries to give her since she feels wrong about him wasting his money on her. At this point, she's a bit more flirty and actually puts effort into their interactions.
    [END] Towards the end, he finally mans up and confesses to her. At first, she has no idea how to react and even stands there gaping at him like he just kicked a puppy, even making him deflate with disappointment and turn to leave. She is quick to stop him though and admit her feelings as well as her fear she'd held onto from day one. At this point, she's completely open around him and her stuttering problem fades. She becomes a lot nicer towards not only him but to the people around her as well. It becomes a rarity to see her not flustered because of him. She is bit protective of him and can be a bit clingy, again due to her fear of him leaving her or of him getting hurt. She is more aware of how to act around him and deal with his personality and will even join him in his loudness.

how he acts around you:
	[BEGINNING] At first, he's not all that aware that she wants nothing to do with him and just thinks she's playing hard to get. He is constantly trying to initiate skinship with her and give her gifts but she'd always shrug him off or reject the gifts. He feels a bit a hurt because of this but still continues to try and steal her heart. As he goes on, he starts to realize more and more things about her, from her little quirks all the way to the emotions hiding in her eyes. Although this makes him fall for her even more, he gets frustrated with how she's treating him and proceeds to point out how cold and distant she is towards him while he's been nothing less than amazing to her. Of course, he feels bad for starting an argument with her but he can't help but to feel that it was the right decision.
    [MIDDLE] When she begins showing him more affection and opening up, he's off the walls with excitement. He takes this as his opportunity to shower her with skinship, compliments, and as many gifts as she'd accept. He becomes very flirty towards her, his flirting coming in two forms: seductive and cheesy. At one moment, he'd be telling her a cheesy pick-up line but in the next, he'd be smirking and throwing around innuendos seductively. He knew the kind of effect he had on her and took full of advantage of that so he could see her flustered. Because of this, he caused there to be a bit of sexual tension which neither of them wouldn't have minded if they weren't constantly near each other.
    [END] When he finally confesses, he's perhaps the most nervous man in the world. He knew she could be cold, despite having gotten her to warm up to him, and feared she'd reject him. When she didn't respond, he thought she wasn't interested and was wholeheartedly disappointed but when she stopped him and admitted her feelings, he was ecstatic. It didn't take long at all for them to become an envied pair. He was very gentlemanly towards her yet his flirtiness levels were 10x higher. He took every opportunity he could to spend time with her, whether it be in class or not. He frequently checks up on her and is a total worrywart when it comes to her. He always wants to make sure she's okay and panics when she doesn't respond to his texts, calls, notes, etc.. He's very easily jealous and protective of her, not wanting anyone to steal her away from him. He gets a bit pouty when she doesn't give him attention but quickly recovers whenever she does.

He just hugs her and lets her cry it out, sitting down and letting her cuddle against him. After, they just sit there in each others company before her stomach growls and they go to dinner, lunch, etc. or just for a snack.
	- They're out doing whatever and she finds a cat that seemed to be abandoned. She immediately scoops it up and declares that she's keeping it. He just laughs and coos at the cat along with her. She ends up naming it Jimlin, a horrible combination of her and his names. This just makes him fall for her even more and he just hugs her and coos over her cuteness instead. Once they get back to the school or wherever they were going, the cat jumps down and, within seconds, it transforms into a person. It turns out, the cat was Professor McGonagall. She was extremely embarrassed and apologized but McGonagall just laughed and waved it away, telling her how cute of a couple they were.
	- Someone, maybe another Slytherin, is picking on Jimin without the knowledge that he's with her. She witnesses them knock his things from his hands and get really, really angry. She shifts into her animagus form and wards them off with that cool noise that I told you her animagus makes. When they clear the area frightfully, she transforms back and rushes to his aid, frantically asking him if he's okay and checking him all over for injuries. He laughs and grabs her hands, pulling them away from his face and holding them in between them. He reassures her that he's fine and kisses her and yay.
