THE CANADIAN PARADOX PARTY PLATFORM

The Canadian Paradox Party, has always been a firm believer in the benefits of social spending. We wish to see more government funds spent on eCanadians  (in wellness programs, education programs, etc.). In these trying times, what we need is CHANGE. REFORM. and NEW IDEAS.

The Canadian Paradox Party stands for three things: Governmental Truthfulness, Community Strength, and National Sovereignty and believes that the only way of achieving these goals is through increased social services and social spending.


Governmental Truthfulness

Accountability - Making both elected and nominated officials accountable for their actions, and by doing so, keeping the government transparent on a moderated level.

Efficient and Effective Government - Reaching across the aisle to get the best people in cabinet. Stop the petty bickering and make the government a place of action. Thinking outside the box and coming up with innovative solutions to help match current problems in eCanada

Respected worldwide - Making sure that Canada is an active member of EDEN and not just going with the flow. Position itself in a way that works for the greater good of our alliance, by means of diplomatics, warfare (campaigns), and direction.

Transparency - By forcing/urging government officials to be public with their decisions, actions, and ideas - including telling eCanada how government funding is spent (i.e. where it is going, how it is being used, etc..)


Community Strength

Assisting new citizens - Ensuring that government funded education programs are more active (Frequent classes, bilingual classes, Quick noob class that lasts for a week with a new one starting every monday). Making housing more affordable by creating a leasing company. The mechanism should be there to provide basic Q1 value goods (food, houses) at an affordable price and assist Canadian firms to upgrade to Q2 and higher value goods.

Bring down the language barrier - Create a bilingual forums. Bilingual government documents. Promote the French and English related culture.

Economically strong and independent - Encourage private initiative. Help the workforce's wellness. Government businesses and projects that are not just creating profit for the government. Government should encourage raw material manufacturing in those that are abundant here and use those for export or to support Canadian companies. Continue the "buy local" initiative.

Strong military - The CAF is one of our main focuses - to keep eCanada strong, the CPP would like to continue to reinforce funding for the CAF, as well as any further militias that come into eCanada.


National Sovereignty

Making CSIS a strong entity - eCanada has been almost TOed many times in the past, and has got it's budget stolen. We need a better counter-espionage force, which is why the CPP will continue to support government movements on CSIS.

Strong Infrastructure - Building new hospitals/Defense systems in TIMES OF WAR. Enhancing the current health care system, as well as bolster the defense of eCanada. Further, the CPP supports the movement of creating healthcare programs for new eCanadians!
