  1. Introduction! And what this is about.

  3. So.. You've finally made it. You've crossed the border, same as us and that thief over there. Welcome to the warrior's dimension, otherwise known as WD. This dimension is infinite, meaning you can go as high as you wish in the dungeon. But whether if your new to WD in general or a sd1 WD veteran.. You might want a bit of info. So that's what this pastebin will serve as, a general guide for both sides of the feuding war between what's the best.. When in actuality their both good and have strength and flaws, unlike sd1 where it was just: Lemme just.. *necroblast and noxin till 1m* and there's other hazards to face off against as you climb the dungeon. But I digress, I'm Talli (I killed zenny, deal with it.) and I'll be your guide for the beginnings of the warrior's dimension. I'll be covering the beginnings for both playstyles and all away until the "Snowball" point. From there it's just grinding out the floors and hitting your desired floor.

  5. Part 1. Your new best friend.

  7. Alright now that the pleasantries are out of the way you've just arrived in wd, and you'll see text bubbles above that dark lord's head. Get through that dialogue and you've just acquired your best friend. Like no joke, the dark lord is the one class that will be your best friend for either comp, being physical or magic. He's a bit unique though. He can't equip any armor, but only 3 accessories. But he is highly highly useful, since he provides a way to mitigate the biggest threat to you when you're climbing.. Ambushes. Ambushes cannot be prevented in sd2, unlike sd1. This on itself makes the game a lot harder, so you'll have to adapt and create new strategies to compensate. Especially in like floor 10k+ So I'd recommend hiring him and start leveling him up ASAP. As when he hits lv 25, he gets the dark savior ability when allows him to save one ally from death per fight. Perfect for ambushes. He also has the shadowslicer ability which is a physical aoe, but if your doing magic that's invalid. But it scales off both the attack formula shown and your party size. Which means it can hit pretty hard later on. But there is one slight.. Drawback with him. He has the passive shadow speed which means he always goes first in your party, regardless of position. For magic comps this can be a pain, and with physical to. So what I personally did was use him as a tanky run prolonger, using a simple script until he was ready for his task later one. Enemy weakest = defend. That's it. He'll defend on everything allowing you to run different comps as you level him up. The best part about defending is that the animation is insanely fast, so it saves a lot of time. Do your standard comp you did through the dimensions until dark lord is lv 25, then the next step will be presented.. Simple. Except not at all since you can only get 1-2xp per floor with the dark lord cuz you can only have one of him. *Cries in having to grind the relic which is 62.4k exp..*

  9. Part 2. Starting relics/Goals.
  10. As you grind the dark lord to 25, you might be wondering what relics to focus on upgrading. there's one real choice, since if you've played sd1 you're upset that the gold relic no longer gives bonuses to every party member. And that is the essence find relic. If you can find essence more naturally, it's more essence as every 200 floors the base essence mobs give you is increased by 1. So regular mobs will give 2, minibosses 3, and bosses 4. And this will keep on increasing for every 200 floors. So upping your chance to find these foes is a worthy investment. Also, while you grind you might want to hope you can stumble across essence magnets. These items will up your essence find by 5% per one you have equipped, and their an accessory. Hmm... who can equip three accessories I wonder- But as you slowly grind them, any essence magnet you find will help you further. Also. If you have a thief at 25 (which you should have by now tbph.) you can set it first, and do a simple script to have it use ransack to effectively double your essence yield. Alongisde the arena for essence.
  11. T1: Enemy has essence = Ransack
  12. T2: Enemy weakest = defend/attack.
  13. Defend is to keep the thief alive longer, attack is if you need the extra damage. Do it according to your needs! But after you get the essence find relic maxed, and also get the essence pet.. Darklord SHOULD be 25. If not finish off that tiny bit and then focus on getting hp, atk, mp, phys/mag% relic AND your needed class relics to 50/100. Also gold, if you want to. But gold isn't needed to be driven up until later. But if you've got the proper gear.. (royal swords + red gems for carpenter teams, power shields as well with red gems) and splendid staffs + power shields + red gems for darkmages you can climb a while. "But what are good team comps?" I hear you. Read below. Your answers will be there.

  15. Part 3. The team. All this gear and relics won't do any good without a proper team to utilize them. Below are a few images of good starting wd team comps, please ignore my high stats. I'll explain scripts below as well. And also, potential tweaks you could do if you wish to alter it if something I did isn't what you want to do.

  17. This is a carpenter team. Meant to nail everything. If you have a lv 100 mp relic you don't need mp regen and can survive off of fairies if you have good key find as well.

The armor grants the dark flame skill which is stronger than noxin, at the cost of more mp. back protectors further help you against ambushes and the gear is meant to increase dmg and mp. At this point you're not *quite* ready for the final dm build while carps are pretty much set. You could swap the gold armor on the carps for the dodge armor or even the armor on the darkmages. Also the weapons grant skull bash which is a single target attack for darkmages. You could swap this for a staff of choosing, but no single target attack dm can run into some issues. This comp would also like more mp than carps. But both are viable. Alternatively you can ditch the ossessin armor and just use skullblades if you would rather just use noxin. This is just my suggestion after all. But this is just early wd comps now.. when ambushes aren't as deadly. Now at this point you want to keep on upping your class relics and slowly crawl (i mean this literally) towards the dark lord relic. Using triangle gems to help. You can craft these at the blacksmith. But the carp script is simply: Enemy isnt ore = nailed it. For dm it's this. Enemy team alive > 1 = strongest aoe

  22. Part 4: Climbing and dealing with ambushes.
  23. Let me put it this way.. Ambushes SUCK. They can end a run at a drop of a hat if you can't survive a hit without dark savior. This is why hp relic is so important, unlike sd1. This is also why darklord has back protector so he can survive back attacks more frequently.. But at this point it's watching your damage slowly rise above the mob hp, and getting to the dark lord relic for both phys and mag teams. Also keep an eye out for cosmic shields. They will increase essence find and give mag teams more mag%. Upping atk, mag% and class relics will let that damage slowly climb, also look out for the secret easter egg at floor 10k~ But for phys teams once you get the dark lord relic.. Your plan of action shifts slightly. Though until then you'll want to get key find up so you can have keys for fairies whenever needed. Make sure to set key settings to only go into fairies (warps are okay to if you want to use them.) and set your hp and mp margins to 95%. Trust me, you'll have a surplus of keys eventually. The keybringer legendary can also help with this if you put it on your thief. Also keep on upping gold relic, more gold for more essence. But I said this was dealing with ambushes right? One you have enough extra damage you'll want to swap out one DM/C for a nurse. A nurse, shocking for you sd1 veterans. Healing in a wd setup. But you'll want to do this script.
  24. T1: ally hp < 100% = first aid. This will let the nurse heal after every ambush, thus keeping the party alive. put damage reduction gear on the nurse as well to further help with this.
  25. T2: Ally hp > 95% = Attack (sadly defend doesn't work with this, I've tried and the nurse will just attack.)
  26. But now you have a lot of survival, but now for carp comps you can't deal with 4 mob floors anymore.. Unless you sac the T from the comp. BUT.. If you have the dark lord relic.. You can. Remember what I said about him having a physical aoe earlier?~ It's time for him to shine.

  28. Part 5: Advanced carpenter team.
  29. Finally, the relic is yours. Power that up and get ready to watch groups die. You'll need to slightly alter your script though if you were using the darklord defend one from earlier.
  30. T1: Enemy team alive 3 < = defend. This will make him defend on bosses/janitors, and one 1-2 mob packs just in case there's an ambush waiting on the other side. Both increasing his survival and other things.
  31. T2: Enemy team alive > 2 = strongest aoe. Now on 3/4 mob packs.. Ambushes included he will let that aoe rip and good bye packs. (make sure you can oneshot with the ability, grind if you need to)
  32. Now.. We need gear don't we? Gear to push and slaughter, but at this point you've probably yoinked several legends, even if you haven't royal swords will work greatly. So here's my ideal carp setup for pushing. (I don't have enough of the gear to show a proper layout so bare with me)
  33. Weapon: Soul guardian. (red gem)
  34. Shield: Shield of the Divine. (craft it at blacksmith)
  35. Armor: Ossein armor.
  36. Acc: Silver necklace/back protector/doodle charm. This is up to preference really. I'd go with the doodle charm cuz floor 1k mark janitor.
  37. Darklord: x1 back protector, x2 silver necklace.
  38. The reason you want that armor and shield is cuz of damage reduction. This can nullify damage dealt by a percent. For instance if an attack would do 1000 damage and you have 25% damage reduction, that attack now deals 750 damage. Super useful for ambushes and janitors.
  39. The script is the same for carps, but their job is different. Now the dark lord will carry on mobs and the carps will carry on bosses.. And for phys, you're done. You can sub out an extra carp for a nurse if you have enough extra damage. But congratulations warrior.. You have made it to the snowball point. Your extra damage will always outshine the mob hp and you can keep on increasing it to snowball forever. I'll see you at floor 1m heh.

  41. Part 6. Advanced dark mage team.
  42. Ah yes, good ol magic. At this point you have a ton of mp.. And it is time for you to wield tech gems. Which grant the laser skill, the best single target magic attack skill in the game. Capable of backstabs and so much more. However, it's a bit split in terms of gear comp. You have the legendary cosmic shield item which has a gem slot, more mag% and essence find. Though for you magic people, I have the gear to show the proper comps! There's two options for dark mages. One for less damage but more survival, or more damage and less survival. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/548842880601686057/727253786749567157/Screenshot_2020-06-29-15-05-23.png Grand scepter is by far more damage, but less damage reduction. Skull blade is more damage reduction but less survival. It's up to you what you choose, but both are viable. Eventually if you're damage is so high overflowed you can use the phantasmal claw accessory to quickly carve through mob floors. But that is very late game. Also, if you don't want to use dark flame you can script your dms to use noxin. Up to you.. Also eventually you can drop one dm for another nurse. Just like carpenters. But congratulations archmage. You've officially snowballed! Your damage is now so high the mob hp will never catch up. And I'll see you at floor 1m heh.

  44. Part 7.. Farewell.
  45. Well.. I've shared my knowledge. It's up to you to utilize this.. But maybe you have a different idea? Then use it. These are my suggestions after all.. But If you've read through this all the way, this is Talli. I have been your guide throughout wd, from humble beginnings.. To the pushing point of the mighty snowball. And now I can safely sit back and watch that snowball grow and grow.. Until it bashes down the doors of the super high dungeon levels. Stay fizzy and drink that soda.
