  1. So, as we all know and Blizzard is probably aware of, Ana players more or less only nano boost meta heroes, and even among them, mostly heroes who have their ultimates ready or are using them. This is an extremely limited spectrum of nano targets to pick from, and I highly doubt it was Blizzard’s intention for Ana’s nano boost to be used that way.
  2.
  3. The reason why an Ana player only boosts these specific heroes boils down to utility. This is a major issue, since I feel that *every* hero should get strong enough value out of a boost and should be a valid nano target.
  4.
  5. If every hero could get value out of a nano, it would definitely shake things up and provide more variety in games. So, below are my *ideas* for how Blizzard can improve the nano boost for heroes who don't get boosted much. You don't have to agree with them, and you're certainly free to offer your own ideas.
  6.
  7. I hope Blizzard reads this thread and improves the nano boost spectrum, since Ana players should never be worried about “boosting the wrong target.” Every hero is a valid target. Let’s make it that way.
  8.
  9. ------------------------
  10.
  11. *Note: These buffs are “reworks” (what they gain from no boost), and are not relative improvements to what each hero already currently gains from the nano boost.*
  12.
  13. **Bastion**: Increases damage and spread. Gives Bastion an extra 200 Armour. Perhaps increases fire rate or decreases reload time (but probably not necessary). Ultimate has increased fire rate and mobility speed.
  14.
  15. **Mech D.Va**: Increases damage and mobility speed. Fly cooldown reduced to 2-3 seconds. Defense Matrix lasts longer. Self-Destruct does an extra 30% damage (for people at further ranges). If D.Va activates her mech ultimate, the remainder of the boost is given to Zero Suit D.Va, counting from the moment she presses Q, and adds an extra 2-3 seconds.
  16.
  17. **Zero Suit D.Va**: Increases damage, fire rate, and mobility speed. Decreases reload time. Charges Call Mech ultimate faster. If Zero Suit D.Va enters mech, game compensates Mech D.Va with the remainder of the boost, counting from the moment she presses Q to Call Mech, and adds an extra 2-3 seconds.
  18.
  19. **Genji**: Increases damage. Decreases reload time. Deflect cooldown reduced to 4-5 seconds. Ultimate boost remains unchanged.
  20.
  21. **Hanzo**: Increases damage, mobility speed and hitbox size. Ability cooldowns reset. Scatter Arrow cooldown reduced to 3-4 seconds. Dragonstrike radius is increased.
  22.
  23. **Junkrat**: Increases damage and fire rate. Widens splash radius for both his grenades and mine. Halves cooldown for both abilities. Riptire radius is increased.
  24.
  25. **Lucio**: Instantly heals Lucio. Significantly increases heal or speed boost (maybe by 30-50% more). Increases damage and fire rate. Boop cooldown reduced to 1-2 seconds. Ultimate charges faster.
  26.
  27. **McCree**: Increases damage and mobility speed. Roll cooldown reduced to 4-5 seconds. Ultimate boost remains unchanged.
  28.
  29. **Mei**: Increases damage and mobility speed. Freezes in half the time. Icicles freeze as well after dealing enough damage. Block heals 20-30% more. Halves cooldown for both abilities. Ultimate charges faster. Ultimate has increased damage and freezes faster.
  30.
  31. **Mercy**: Instantly heals Mercy. Significantly increases heal and damage boost (maybe by 30-50% more). Zero fly cooldown. Passive healing lasts for the entire duration of the boost, even while being damaged, and heals Mercy twice as much. Increases mobility speed. Increases Blaster’s damage and fire rate. Ultimate charges faster.
  32.
  33. **Pharah**: Increases damage. Widens splash radius significantly. Fly cooldown reduced to 4-5 seconds. Boop cooldown reduced to 5 seconds. Ultimate boost remains unchanged (but I guess her spread *could* be increased).
  34.
  35. **Reaper**: Increases damage. Slightly increases mobility speed (maybe by 20-25%). Wraith cooldown reduced to 5 seconds. Shadow Step reduced to 4 seconds. Ultimate boost remains unchanged, and does not have mobility speed increased any further.
  36.
  37. **Reinhardt**: Increases damage and hitbox size. Each hammer swing increases mobility speed by a very small multiplier (maybe like 1.2x), and resets whenever they stop swinging. Ability cooldowns reset. Fire Strike cooldown reduced to 4 seconds.
  38.
  39. **Roadhog**: Increases damage and fire rate. Breather heals an extra 100 health. Breather cooldown reduced to 5 seconds. Hook cooldown reduced by 1 second. Ultimate boost remains unchanged.
  40.
  41. **Soldier: 76**: Increases damage and mobility speed. Helix cooldown reduced to 5 seconds. Biotic Field has increased radius and heals 30% more. Ultimate boost remains unchanged.
  42.
  43. **Sombra**: Increases damage and spread. Invincibility lasts 30% longer. Hack occurs 30% faster. Ability cooldowns are halved and reset. Hacked health packs recharge 30% faster, and their hack duration is reset. EMP lasts 1-2 seconds longer, and goes through all walls and obstacles.
  44.
  45. **Symmetra**: Increased damage. Energy Ball charge time halved. Turrets given an extra 50-100 Shield for the duration of the boost. Photon Barrier cooldown reduced to 4-5 seconds. Gives Teleporter/Generator an extra 100 Shield and resets its health/shield.
  46.
  47. **Torbjorn**: Increases damage and fire rate for both Torbjorn and turret. Increases mobility speed. Scrap charges 30% faster.
  48.
  49. **Tracer**: Increases damage and hitbox size. Ability cooldowns halved. Bomb radius increased, and penetrates through shields dealing 100 damage to targets being protected who are very close to the bomb, and weakening the further the blast radius is.
  50.
  51. **Widowmaker**: Increases damage and mobility speed. Scope charge duration halved. Hook cooldown reduced to 3 seconds. Mine cooldown reset and reduced to 5 seconds. Passive ultimate ability (all teammates can see all enemies during the boost).
  52.
  53. **Winston**: Increased damage. Jump cooldown reduced by 1 second. Barrier health increased to 1,000. Barrier cooldown reset and reduced to 10 seconds.
  54.
  55. **Zarya**: Increased damage. Increased Beam hitbox size. Energy lasts 2x longer. Barrier cooldowns reduced by 2 seconds. Graviton Surge lasts 1-2 seconds longer.
  56.
  57. **Zenyatta**: Instantly heals Zenyatta. Gives Zenyatta an extra 100 Shield. Increased damage and mobility speed. Decreases reload time. Can set up to 3 Harmony and 2 Discord Orbs at one time. 1 Harmony Orb heals a target 30% faster, 2 Orbs heal targets 15% faster, and 3 Orbs heal targets 10% faster (relative to his normal healing). Harmony Orbs can be taken off of targets at will. Discord Orbs all debuff by 30% damage.
  58.
  59. **These are just ideas and I'm not a pro GM player or anything like that, so feel free to offer criticism if I might've made some heroes overpowered this way.**
