  1. >Have all morning, alone in this royal suite and on the comfiest bed you've ever felt, just to sit back and think to yourself.
  2. >Yeah, that wasn't as good of an idea as you thought it was. You simply couldn't get that dream off your mind. The only thing stopping you from doing anything was Luna's words.
  3. >She knew what this kind of dream was, and how they typically happen. It was difficult for you to believe, but you felt like you could trust her. And for now, you did.
  4. >Before long, you left the relaxing confines of the bed to focus on some magic spells. Nothing in particular, just whatever came to mind, whatever would shift your thoughts away from the dream.
  5. >It works, but not as well as you'd like. Before you know it, you're entertaining yourself by simply throwing little orbs of magic around the room and seeing how well you could control their movements.
  6. >Your concentration is ruined as you hear a knock on your door. Two little orbs you had zipping around had been sent into different walls due to this, though thankfully they were too weak to cause any damage.
  7. >Not like that would have mattered anyway, considering what happened earlier.
  8. "Come in." you respond casually
  9. >The door opens and in walks Princess Luna.
  10. "Oh, hey Luna."
  11. >"Hello again Anonymous. Are you feeling any better?" she asks as she closes the door behind her and sits on her haunches on the floor in front of it.
  12.
  13. "Eh, a little bit. It'd be really nice if I actually had something to do today to help pass the time."
  14. >"Well, you are in luck then! Big sister would like to see you in the throne room in about one-hours time."
  15. "Oh? Any idea what for?"
  16. >"She would not enlighten me... I believe she may just be interested in keeping you busy for the day, however I cannot help but suspect she may want to test you as well."
  17. "Test me?"
  18. >Just what the hell would she want to test you for? And what kind of test would it be?
  19. >You vaguely remember Celestia mentioning something about you possibly becoming a part of Twilight's destiny or something ridiculous like that. Maybe that's what it's all about?
  20. >"I... shouldn't have said anything... Try to think nothing of it Anonymous. Go see what she wants and just keep your mind off Twilight and the others for the day."
  21. "Easy for you to say..." you respond sarcastically
  22. >"It is time for Celestia and I to cycle the Sun and Moon, so I must be on my way. Have a good day, Anonymous."
  23. "Yeah, you too Luna."
  24. >Needless to say, you weren't very enthusiastic about the day ahead of you. But maybe having something to keep you busy all day is just what you need. There's only one way to find out.
  25. >Meet Celestia in one hour huh... Sounds like it's time for a long hot shower.
  26. >It's nice and relaxing at first, but thoughts of the dream begin to return.
  27. >You try desperately to think happy thoughts, mostly of you and Twilight together.
  28.
  29. >Eventually, it works, yet things get a little too happy. No matter, there's no harm in having a little fun with yourself now is there? Besides, it's helping out a lot, at least for the time being.
  30. >Shortly after finishing that and the shower, you depart your room and take a slow walk around the castle in the direction of the throne room.
  31. >A trio of who you assume to be noble Canterlot residents exits the throne room as you enter.
  32. >"Ah, good morning Anonymous." Celestia starts in a light-hearted tone and with a smile, "Did you sleep well?"
  33. "Morning Celestia, and no, I didn't." you answer as you approach her, "Well, I was, then I had this insanely realistic dream that... well, I don't really wanna talk about."
  34. >"Oh yes, my sister Luna had mentioned that to me. I'm sorry you had to experience such a thing Anonymous, especially at a time like this."
  35. "Tell me about it... So anyway, Luna said you wanted me for something today?"
  36. >"That's correct. I'd like for you to spend the day with me, shadow me as I perform my duties of the day and also get a good look at Canterlot and its resident p0nies, since I'm sure you haven't spent much if any time here in the past."
  37. "Hmm, you're right, I haven't seen much of this place yet. I don't know why you want me to shadow you all day, but if it can pass the time by then I'm in."
  38. >"Wonderful!" she exclaims joyfully
  39. "Aren't you afraid of me hearing any sensitive information or something though?"
  40.
  41. >"Oh, that doesn't concern me. This could turn out to be a meaningful learning experience for you, and even allow you to help out Twilight Sparkle in the future."
  42. >Wait, what? How- ...no, never mind, don't ask, just roll with it.
  43. "Sure, okay, if you say so... So, what first?"
  44. >"Come, stand at my side. We have more visitors to attend to."
  45. >As you walk over to Celestia's side, next to her throne, another small group of p0nies walk into the throne room, escorted by a royal guard.
  46. >They bow before the Princess and spare you a few awkward glances before presenting their situation.
  47. >Throughout the day, you had heard some really interesting stories from various p0nies, regarding a number of locations or events, among other things, that you never really knew existed.
  48. >Surprisingly it kept your attention pretty well throughout the day, and it was quite the learning experience, just as Celestia said.
  49. >By the time Celestia's reign for the day was ending and Luna's was beginning, you had completely forgotten about that morning.
  50. >Celestia and Luna were both happy about that, and of course neither of them brought it up.
  51. >Sleep came much easier for you this night than you had expected.
  52.
  53. ------
  54.
  55. >"Spike, I think it's here!" Twilight says as she walks into the doorway in which she can only see a near-blinding light emanating from.
  56. >"Huh?" Twilight continues as she suddenly finds herself within the throne room of Canterlot Castle.
  57. >Turning to look behind her, she spots Princess Celestia standing in the grand hallway outside of the throne room, signing a stack of scrolls by the looks of it.
  58. >Standing next to her, seemingly doing the same thing, was Anonymous.
  59. >"What are you doing here?" Celestia asks in an annoyed and almost angry tone.
  60. >"I dunno!" Twilight responds, "I opened the door and-"
  61. >"And now you must go." Celestia cuts her off. Her and Anon continue their work without taking even a moment's glance at Twilight.
  62. >"Go where?" Twilight asks, noticeably confused and worried, scared even.
  63. >"It doesn't matter..." Celestia responds, now turning her head to look at Twilight, giving her an angry glare, "You failed the test Twilight!"
  64. >Twilight reels back in shock, her eyes narrowing to size of pin-pricks.
  65. >"I don't understand! The test-?" Twilight begins to ask with a shaky voice.
  66. >"Not only will you not move on to the next level of your studies, you won't continue your studies at all!"
  67. >"But-" Twilight starts, already filled with sorrow as tears begin to well up in her eyes, "You didn't say anything about no longer being your student if I failed!"
  68. >Celestia drapes a wing over Twilight, almost to console her.
  69.
  70. >"Didn't I?" she asks sarcastically as she shoves Twilight away with her wing and begins to walk away.
  71. >"But what do I do now?" Twilight asks.
  72. >She gets no response from Celestia, who continues to walk away. Anonymous passes by Twilight without a glance in her direction, moving to follow Celestia instead.
  73. >"Anonymous," Twilight says lightly as she begins to sob, "You too?" What- what happened? Why?"
  74. "I had such high hopes for you Twilight..." he says in a disappointed tone after he stops walking.
  75. >As he finishes, he begins walking again. He wouldn't even look at her.
  76. >The tears building up in her eyes overwhelm her, as Twilight drops to the ground and curls up, sobbing, as it's the only thing she seems to be physically capable of doing right now.
  77. >"Twilight!" a voice echoes through the halls. It doesn't phase her.
  78. >Two more times, her name is called, each time a little bit closer, but they do nothing.
  79. >"Twiliiiight!" it comes for a fourth time, and much closer. Twilight snaps out of her trance and realizes she had been sitting down in front of the doorway she had stepped into just a couple minutes ago.
  80. >As Spike rambles on to Twilight, she quickly puts two and two together and realizes what happened. After confirming her suspicions with Spike, her mind is put at ease, knowing it was all just a ruse by the evil king Sombra.
  81. >Hopefully this was the last trick of this sort that he had up his sleeve. Twilight's will was strong, but she wasn't sure if she could handle something like that again.
  82. >She remains confident as her and Spike move on, though as the barrier around the Crystal Empire weakens to a near-diminished stage, something else seems a bit... off.
  83.
  84. ----
  85.
  86. >Something's wrong. You don't know what it is, but something is just... wrong.
  87. >Twilight and her friends are in danger, you can feel it!
  88. >You've been pacing back and forth in your room for what seemed like hours, just thinking, trying to get a grasp on what the hell was going through your mind and giving you this feeling.
  89. >Finally, you stop to take a breath and try to gather your thoughts...
  90. >Wait. The Sight Beyond Sight spell, of course! Why didn't you think of that sooner?
  91. >You remember the spell well enough to pull it off rather easily, though you almost wish it didn't work.
  92. >What you see in the distance disturbs you immensely. There's an enormous city that looks as though it's made entirely out of crystal. You can safely assume that's the Crystal Empire.
  93. >Only there's a dark sky over it, and there seems to be a fair amount of destruction around the city, mostly around the center in front of what appears to be a castle.
  94. >Their mission was to prevent this evil from returning right? Well, what if it already returned completely, what then? Would they be able to stop it?
  95. >This doesn't look good. No, this isn't good at all. You have to go check it out for yourself and see if everybody is okay.
  96. >You drop the spell and begin to ready your teleportation.
  97. >Seconds later, you have your link on Twilight and you appear in the very place you saw in your vision moments ago.
  98. >Normally, you'd appear within a few meters of your target, but Twilight is nowhere to be seen.
  99.
  100. >You're in an open field which appears to be pretty heavily battle-scarred. There were a number of tents, huts, tables and booths, among other things. It looked like there was a festival of some kind here.
  101. >"A- Anon?" you hear a very faint voice come from behind you.
  102. >You quickly turn around, and there on the ground in a small crater behind you, lied Rainbow Dash.
  103. "Rainbow!" you shout in shock as you drop to your knees next to her.
  104. >She was very badly injured, bleeding rather heavily. You could already feel the tears in your eyes.
  105. >Who did this? And how? Where was he, and for that matter, where was everybody else?
  106. >So many thoughts and questions running through your mind, you almost already forgot about the injured p0ny in front of you.
  107. >"Glad you-" she starts before coughing up a bit of blood, "Glad ya made it."
  108. >Rainbow is barely able to keep an eye opened to look at you. She even attempts a smile, before going into another visibly painful coughing fit.
  109. "Rainbow, are you okay!? What happened, where's Twilight and the others!?" you ask in a very shaky and worried tone.
  110. >"It's- not too late..." she responds, but is unable to continue as her body starts to spasm.
  111. "Rainbow, hang on!" You say as you grab onto her and carefully hold her in your arms, "Hang in there Dashie, it's gonna be okay!"
  112. >She attempts another smile as her body begins to calm down, and she looks at you again with one opened eye, glistening from her own tears.
  113.
  114. >"I- I'm, sorry, Anon... For everything..." she speaks weakly, her eye closing afterward and head going limp in your arms.
  115. "Rainbow?..." you ask as tears begins streaming down your face, "D- Dashie!?"
  116. >You continue to call her name, each time more sorrowful than the last. Your tears are drenching her ragged and bloodied mane by now and you can't feel your heart beating.
  117. >The only thing on your mind was Rainbow Dash... you bring her up to your chest and hug her as tight as possible, resting your own head on her and allowing yourself to break down as you slowly realize the gravity of the situation.
  118. >Rainbow Dash... your Dashie as you used to call her, your best friend and the most loyal p0ny you'll probably ever meet, was in your arms right now, in the tightest hug you'd ever given her... And she was gone...
  119. >Taken, you assume, by the very evil they were sent here to destroy.
  120. >As you sat on the ground, weeping over the loss of your best friend whom you were too late to save, a rage begins to form deep within you.
  121. >The anger within you builds, pushing away the sorrow for your fallen friend. Eventually, you let her go and stand back up.
  122. >Your sudden erection and accompanying build-up of magical energy fail to phase you. The only thing on your mind now was revenge. You would find the asshole responsible for this, and end him.
  123.
  124. >As if on queue, an explosion is heard nearby. You quickly turn around and look in the direction it came from, only to see a purple-looking unicorn go soaring into what you assume was a house. Made of crystal, of course.
  125. >Twilight! That had to be her! So she's still alive!
  126. >That put a bit of a smile on your face, but the fact that she was just tossed through the wall of a house didn't sit very well with you.
  127. >Your anger continued to rise as you began sprinting towards the house, keeping an eye out for the evil King you assume is behind this.
  128. >Before you get very far however, the house in which Twilight was tossed into explodes in a violent surge of fiery-orange magic.
  129. >The entire house is incinerated in an instant. Standing in its place, was a single unicorn. Her coat had turned into an off-white, almost very light yellow color. Her eyes were bright red, and her mane and tail had turned into what looked like legitimate burning flames.
  130. >In any other situation, you'd joke about how she just evolved into Rapidash, but- no, she's totally gone Super Saiy- P0ny. Whatever, it's not important.
  131. >Twilight conjures up some magic into her horn and fires off an enormous blast of magic in the direction she came from.
  132. >Just as she does, you spot him. The Evil King Sombra. He is barely able to dodge Twilight's attack as it beams past him, creating a large path of destruction in its wake.
  133.
  134. >Sombra charges Twilight, firing some of his own magic blasts at her. She avoids them pretty easily and fights back with her own.
  135. >They're jumping around rapidly, often using teleports to get around one another and take a quick advantage, but neither of them seem to be getting anywhere.
  136. >On the plus side, Twilight does seem to have the upper hand, mostly on the offensive while Sombra is left having to simply avoid her attacks.
  137. >After a certain teleport, Twilight steps on an unsupported wall which slips under her, causing her to lose her balance.
  138. >Sombra takes this opportunity to get close and blast her from close range, sending her flying in your direction.
  139. "Twilight!" you shout as you immediately teleport next to Sombra and extend your arm to his face.
  140. >"Wha-" he reacts in surprise, but before he can do anything more, you send a surge of magic out of your hand, blasting him away and into the ground.
  141. >Teleporting again, you appear next to Twilight, who was just getting up off the ground.
  142. "Twilight, are you alright!?" you ask as you kneel next to her and place a hand around her head, turning her to look at you.
  143. >You can feel the heat and raw energy emanating from her, though it doesn't hurt to touch her. Oh, thank Celestia for that!
  144. >"I'll be fine." she says, gently brushing off your arm, "I'm glad you showed up Anon, even though you're a tad late. But we never expected you in the first place, so-"
  145. "I'm sorry Twilight..." you respond, cutting her off.
  146.
  147. >"Yeah... me too..." she says in a slightly saddened voice. A lone tear escapes one of her eyes, only to quickly evaporate before it gets half-way down her cheek.
  148. >"Rainbow Dash... how is she?" Twilight asks as she turns her head to look in the direction Sombra was in.
  149. >You shift your gaze to the ground, trying your best to hold back some reforming tears.
  150. "Dash... she's... *sniff* Dashie's gone, Twilight..."
  151. >Another tear drops from her eye before quickly evaporating. "No... not her too..." Soon after, a look of pure rage takes precedence across her features.
  152. "You- you mean-"
  153. >Twilight remains silent. It's clear to you she's having an incredibly hard time right now and is mustering all the strength she possibly can to refrain from breaking down.
  154. "The others... are they-"
  155. >"All. Of. Them." she responds through gritted teeth.
  156. >You can't tell, but your face has gone white. There's... no way... All of them, every single Element aside from Twilight; your friends... they were all gone...
  157. >Every aspect of your body and soul wants to do nothing but give up and die right now. This just... isn't right... This can't be happening!
  158. >There's no way in hell the Princesses would send these p0nies here if it involved this kind of risk!
  159.
  160. >"Anonymous." Twilight says through a sniffle, still showing a very angry look in her eyes, "We can't mourn for them yet. We have to stop Sombra, by any means necessary. If we can't, then... all of their deaths would be in vain... and all of Equestria would fall. We can't let that happen!"
  161. >Fighting back the sorrow as best you could, you nod your head.
  162. >Before you get a chance to do any more, Twilight charges forward. "SOMBRAAAA!" she shouts
  163. >You immediately stand up and look in the direction she went. Twilight charges Sombra in a furious rage, firing numerous magic blasts at him.
  164. >Sombra dodges the blasts with ease. When Twilight gets close enough, he teleports and bucks her in the side, teleporting again instantly afterward.
  165. "Twilight!" you shout, but as soon as you do, Sombra appears before you and swiftly connects both of his back legs with your chest, hurling you backwards countless yards before violently landing on the ground.
  166. >Oh... ow, yeah... that one hurt, he definitely knocked the wind out of you.
  167. >Sombra once again appears next to you, showing you a smug grin as his horn begins to glow. You're struggling to move, considering the hit he just landed on you.
  168. >"Anon!" you hear Twilight shout just as she lands next to Sombra and fires a large blast directly through him.
  169. >The two of you smile, but only for a moment, as Sombra's image fades away, laughing. A mirror image?
  170.
  171. >"Wha-" Twilight begins to say, but is suddenly stopped as she grunts and her eyes shoot wide open, pupils shrinking to pin-pricks.
  172. >No... You can see it now... Sombra's horn, with its own magic aura surrounding it, had... pierced through Twilight's chest...
  173. >She remains there, motionless, as her fiery form begins to diminish, returning her to her normal purple-themed body.
  174. >Your heart is skipping countless beats right now, you can't believe your eyes... there's no way should would allow herself to slip up like that! Just... no!
  175. >Sombra retracts himself, allowing Twilight to collapse right next to you.
  176. >No... NO. THIS ISN'T HAPPENING!
  177. "Twilight!" you shout to her as you begin to get up and crawl over to her, "Twilight!" you try again. She's alive, but unresponsive.
  178. >"Aww, did I kill your last friend?" Sombra mocks you as he takes a step closer.
  179. >His words force you to stand up and conjure up some more magic.
  180. "You just fucked with the wrong Human." you respond to him in an almost dead-pan tone.
  181. >Teleporting to his side, you swiftly bring your knee to his jaw. This launches him into the air, where you send a blast of magic at him. It connects, sending him into a nearby building.
  182. >Immediately you drop back down to Twilight and cradle her head in your arms.
  183. >This doesn't look good... no, not good at all. Looks like her lungs were pierced, considering the way she was breathing, however she was even still managing that.
  184.
  185. >"I'm-" she begins before coughing up some blood, "Sorry, Anon."
  186. "Shhh, stay quiet and still Twilight, we can fix this." you manage to say between your renewed sobbing, "Just remain calm, okay?"
  187. >You get no response. She makes no attempt to move or do anything other than breathe.
  188. "Good, keep breathing, just like that. I'm going to teleport you to the hospital in Canterlot, okay?"
  189. >Tears begin escaping her closed eyes. "No, it's... too late, just... stop Sombra..."
  190. "Don't you DARE say that Twilight, I refuse to lose you!" you yell at her. She seems to react to some sort of pain, and otherwise doesn't respond.
  191. >Twilight's horn suddenly begins to glow, though it's very faint. You notice the aura from her horn connecting with you, and you can feel... something... building up within.
  192. "Twi- I don't know what you're doing, but knock it off."
  193. >Again, no response, as she continues to feed something into you.
  194. "Twilight, I'm serious, you need your energy!"
  195. >The aura suddenly vanishes, as if she actually listened to you. Twilight coughs a few times, you can tell it's very painful for her.
  196. >Her breathing has taken a bad turn too, she won't be able to keep this up for long at all.
  197. >Just as you begin to focus your magic in order to teleport her out of here, Sombra drops to the ground just in front of you both.
  198. >"What, leaving so soon? How about you leave that weakling here and show me your true power, human?"
  199.
  200. >You hardly even focus on him, all you want to do is get Twilight out of here first.
  201. >But... for some reason, you can't seem to locate Canterlot... or even P0nyville...
  202. >"Aw, what's the matter, can't make your quick escape? Ha! Sorry to burst your bubble, but my hold on this Empire prevents any form of magic from leaving. I guess you'll just have to face me now huh?"
  203. >Twilight slowly moves her head to look up at you, opening her eyes as best she can and giving you a determined look. When she nods her head to you, you proceed to gently set her down on the grass.
  204. >So, this is what he wanted, huh? So be it.
  205. >He killed your friends. All of them. And he nearly killed the P0ny you love, the P0ny whom you just couldn't live without. And now, because of the field he has around this place, you can't get help for her, and she might become his next victim.
  206. >No... you can't think about that... She'll live dammit, she has to!
  207. >Needless to say, you were pretty pissed. You've allowed the rage to build up inside you at this point, but you've managed to remain determined and focused.
  208. >The fate of you, Twilight, all of Equestria and maybe even the world, rests on you taking this piece of shit down, right here and now.
  209. >Sombra's horn begins to glow, while at the same time you conjure up as much magic as you can, and- holy shit, what did Twilight do to you!? It feels like she transferred an enormous amount of power into you.
  210.
  211. >Sombra sends a blast of magic at you, which you effortlessly knock away with a quick back-hand.
  212. >Just after firing it, he charges forward, no doubt hoping to pierce you with his horn as well.
  213. >Unfortunately for him, your new-found power allowed you to easily anticipate his movement, and catch him off guard by grabbing onto his horn as it's just inches from your chest.
  214. >He's stopped in his tracks, a look of fear now on his face for the predicament he was in.
  215. >With a smirk, you grab the back of his neck with your left hand while your right hand forcefully snaps his horn off of his head.
  216. >Sombra screams in agony but is unable to move out of your grasp, and obviously unable to perform any magic.
  217. >Using your magic to lift you into the air, you hang onto Sombra, holding him out in front of you as he hangs from your hand, trying desperately to break free but making no progress.
  218. "Tell me, Sombra," you begin to speak to him, before using your free hand to jab his own horn directly into his chest, eliciting another scream of pain, "How does it feel to be the victim of your own attack? To be helpless to defend yourself or the ones you care for?"
  219. >He doesn't respond, only struggling more to get out of your death grip.
  220. "Stay the fuck still dammit!" You yell as your right fist smashes into his gut, causing him to cough up a good deal of blood out of his mouth and sending some more streaming from the wound in his chest.
  221.
  222. >Thankfully, his flailing has stopped as he's reeling in pain.
  223. >Once again using your free hand, you begin to focus a good deal of magic into your index finger.
  224. >Your hand makes its way to one of Sombra's hind legs. You aim your finger at one edge of the base of his leg and begin producing a concentrated magic laser, much like you did on that day in the forest.
  225. >The laser connects with his leg, as he once again bellows in agony. You move your finger across the base of his leg, as slow as you can, making sure can feel every bit of it.
  226. >Eventually, it's no longer attached to his body, so it falls to the ground down below, blood furiously gushing from the socket.
  227. "Hmm. Four limbs. One for Fluttershy, one for Pinkie Pie, one for Applejack, and one for Rarity."
  228. >You bring your finger to his other hind leg and repeat the process. And then again for each of his front legs.
  229. >By now he had passed out from the blood loss. He would be dead very soon, but you weren't going to wait.
  230. "You deserve worse Sombra. You're lucky I don't have time to fuck around, or you'd suffer a lifetime of pain for what you did here today."
  231. >You raise your hand up to Sombra and open your palm, placing it on his chest.
  232. "This one is for you, Dashie." you say as you unleash a torrent of magic energy through your arm and hand. Sombra's body under his neck is incinerated in no more than a second.
  233.
  234. >Dashie... that one's going to be the hardest... When you think of how you saw her just minutes ago, you remember seeing some lances on the ground near her.
  235. >Teleporting nearby, Sombra's head still in your left hand, you scan around for a lance, and sure enough, you find one.
  236. >You levitate it into the air and jam it into the ground handle-first as hard as you can.
  237. >With the point of the lance sticking straight up, you decide it's a suitable place to present Sombra's head to the world. So you pierce it on there.
  238. >Now that you look at it, you can't help but notice how deliciously evil your little act was. But you don't care for a moment about what you did, you knew he deserved worse.
  239. >With that out of the way, you teleport to Twilight.
  240. >She's... breathing, though incredibly slowly...
  241. >It was too late, wasn't it...
  242. "Twilight..." you say quietly to her, your voice once again filling with sorrow
  243. >She slowly turns her head to you and manages to open her eyes about a third of the way. Her eyes begin overflowing with tears when she looks upon you.
  244. >"Y- you did it-" she says quietly as you kneel down to her once again and pick her up entirely into your arms.
  245. "Yeah, now stay quiet so I can get you to a hospital."
  246. >Her eyes leave yours for a moment, and she takes a glance at the sky above.
  247. >You decide to take a look as well. No... That black sky, the barrier that Sombra had put up. It's still there!
  248. >"I'm- sorry, Anon..."
  249.
  250. "Don't say that Twilight, you have nothing to apologize for! Just han-"
  251. >"I- looovve- ...." her body tenses up, as tears yet again begin to flow from your eyes due to the sudden realization of what's happening, "yoooouuuu."
  252. >That... was her last exhale... her eyes have formed pools of tears as they close for the last time.
  253. "Twi- light? Twilight!? TWILIGHT!" you begin screaming through your erratic sobs, "TWILIGHT- DON'T- LEAVE ME!!!"
  254. >For the second time today, the most appealing thought to you was your own death. How could you possible live after this!?
  255. "TWILIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGHHHHHTT!!!" you scream at the top of your lungs.
  256. >Your sorrow and anger have blinded you to the point where you don't even notice the hurricane of magical energy flowing around you, ravaging the landscape.
  257. >That was it. Nothing else mattered anymore... Everything you lived for in this world was just violently taken from you... How could it possibly come to this? Such a peaceful world, and yet all of the best friends you could ever ask for were just... no...
  258. >You let out another blood-curdling scream. This time, however, you hear a familiar voice before you are finished. And it's calling- no, shouting your name.
  259. >"ANONYMOUS!" you hear very loudly this time, along with the brutal devastation of your bedroom door as Princess Luna comes barging in.
  260. >Wait... bedroom... BEDROOM!?
  261. >"Anonymous, what's goin-"
  262. "WHAT!? WHA- FUCKING WHAT THE GOD DAMN SHIT!?"
  263.
  264. >Luna stops and takes a step back at your outburst as you look around the completely ruined suite room.
  265. >"A- another dream!?"
  266. "NO FUCKING WAY THAT WAS JUST A DREAM!"
  267. >"Anonymous, please ju-"
  268. "NO FUCK THIS, THAT WAS TOO MUCH, I'M LEAVING!"
  269. >You jump off the bed as you say that, and quickly put your clothes on before conjuring up some magic.
  270. >"Anonymous, please don't go, remember what we to-"
  271. "FUCK what you and Celestia told me! I can't take this shit anymore, I'm going to see them, I HAVE to know if they're okay!"
  272. >Luna remains silent after this, no doubt because she caught sight of how your eyes had burst like dams.
  273. >Not Luna's words nor the vast destruction you caused to your castle suite room was on your mind right now. It was just Twilight and Rainbow.
  274. >Please, please please PLEASE let the most traumatizing experience you'll ever have just be a dream. PLEASE let them all be okay!
  275. >It takes some time, but once you manage to calm down enough to actually focus, you find her. And just like that, you're gone.
  276. >The next sight you see is of the inside of a train car.
  277. >This one is a normal passenger care. Taking a look around, you see all of them in there. Every single one. Cadence, Shining Armor, Spike, Fluttershy, Pinkie, Applejack, Rarity... Rainbow Dash, and... Twilight.
  278. >This was a huge load off your mind, the most relief you bet you'll ever feel.
  279. >They all seemed pretty tired, but most of them were awake and chatting. Until they see you, of course.
  280.
  281. >"Hiya Anon what are you doin' here huh!?" Pinkie Pie bounds over to you before you even realized she saw you.
  282. >The others respond, looking over at you.
  283. >"Anon?" Twilight says, sounding rather sleepy.
  284. >With a huge grin across your face, you walk up next to where Twilight was sitting, pick her up into your arms, sit down where she was, and hold her closer than you ever have before.
  285. >You wanted to speak, but... you couldn't find the strength to. You had just let yourself go, crying tears of joy onto a dumbfounded Twilight Sparkle.
  286. >Of course, her and everyp0ny else had no idea what the hell your problem was.
  287. >"Anon? What's wrong, are you okay?" Twilight asks, a great deal of worry present in her voice.
  288. >"Yeah dude what's the deal?" Rainbow Dash asks, letting out a light chuckle at the scene.
  289. "I- I'm just so happy you're all okay!" you respond as you finally start fighting back the tears, "Just... give me a few minutes, okay?"
  290. >They all look at you, confused and anxious as to what happened. You know they're not going to like the answer, and you don't want to remember even a single second of that dream, but... well, hopefully Twilight or somep0ny else might have some further information on these things beyond what Luna told you.
  291. >But, even if they don't, it's not important at the moment. You're in the real world, with your Twilight and the rest of your best friends, all safe and sound.
  292. >After wanting to kill yourself twice in your sleep, you'd say you were actually happy right now. You wouldn't mind sitting here, just like this, with Twilight wrapped in your arms, for the remainder of your days.
  293. >For now though, just the rest of the train ride back to Canterlot will have to do.
  294.
  295.
  296. ------
  297. Okay, I'm done with this crazy shit for the story, I'll get back to some more normal things before it's all over.
