WHEN I SEE YOU!

— background
	Growing up in Seoul is difficult; the most popular city in South Korea, there's a lot of competition. This was no different for Jaehwa, who's father was a businessman working downtown at a corporate office. Everything was much higher in this city - pressure, competition, stress, and tension, and his father was constantly worrying over his head that he needed to succeed just like his father did to take care of the family. Ever since he was little, he could remember his father and mother stressing over the importance of good grades, money, and success were - it's all he's ever known to strive for, but it seems he always finds a way to disappoint the both of them. He, unfortunately, has little to no interest in the business world, or school work in general, and has difficulty focusing or comprehending the work given to him. He'd much rather be outside, dancing or skateboarding, which is considered foolish and childish to his parents.
	Their relationship is very strained, as they often butt heads about the smallest of details, and he cannot remember the last time he has been told "I love you" by either of them unless it was in front of those they were trying to impress. The family's pride has wounded them greatly, and they do not even speak to each other unless it's required. Not to mention, Jaehwa has grown into quite the troublemaker in his high school years (unintentionally, of course). The constant fights and sharp tongue have received the harsh end of his parent's looks and words, further insuring them that he is a failure in their eyes.
	His disability was looked upon as an inconvenience in their eyes, an excuse to get out of punishment for his fights and uncontrollable temper - they believe that taking his pills will solve all of his problems, and that should be the end of it. They're controlling, suffocating, and he cannot wait to get away from them and go.. well, wherever he can to get away from them and the constant pressure weighing him down and making his condition worse than it already is.

	The medication he is taking currently, lithium, has a possible side affect of tremors, which he happens to be effected with. to stop it/make it unnoticeable, he often grips things tightly - the edge of a desk, whatever he may be holding, or bunching his clothes up and squeezing them.
	When angry, his number one response is to furrow his brow and clench his fists, ready for a fight. He's been told multiple times it will lead to a permanent wrinkle in between his eyes, but he doesn't seem fazed at all.
	If he's sizing someone up or checking them out, a tilted head, cocked eyebrow, and lip between his teeth are unconscious actions that always take place and are the most obvious thing in the world. He's been caught staring too many times to count, but it doesn't seem he cares.

— hobbies
	Dancing, while disapproved of by his parents, is Jae's number one hobby and interest above anything else. It blows off steam, and when he feels his temper rising above his control, it's a relaxer, taking his mind off of what he's angry about (usually). No one knows much about his love for dancing, as he doesn't really let anyone know he still does it to save himself from his parent's lectures, so often times he has to find a deserted area to do what he loves best.

— personality
	Many of the students, if asked, will describe Jaehwa as an asshole, or an emotionless brat with daddy issues. It's no secret who is father is, and what he asks of Jae, and he hates it more than anything because he thinks it makes others see him differently. Usually, that's not the case at all, but often there's an idiot who chooses to say something about Jaehwa at the wrong moment and suffers the guy's wrath (or, his fists). He has a sharp tongue and no filter, mouthing off whenever he disagrees with anything, and the list of things that annoys him is longer than things she actually enjoys in life. He doesn't play nice, or easily, and if you want to be his friend you have to deal with his bad days, as well as his good. He can be toxic when upset, lashing out at whoever tries to comfort him with words he doesn't mean just to get you to leave him alone. He will feel sorry almost immediately afterwards, but will have a hard time apologizing because he doesn't deal with embarrassment and pride very well.
	Underneath his sharp exterior, Jae is kind of cute, in a kind of "this animal is so cute right now but I know that it could tear my eyes out at any moment if it wanted to" way. He loves, loves, loves dogs of any and all kind, and you will physically see him melt in the presence of one. When he speaks about things he enjoys, especially dancing, he lights up like a Christmas tree, and while it's a rare sight it's a nice one to see. He is hesitant and unsure of how to express how he feels, and it's incredibly endearing to see him flustered and fumbling to admit how he's feeling at a certain time. He doesn't show this side to many people, as he hates even associating himself with the word "cute" when he knows very well he can be a dick when he chooses (and even when he doesn't).

	To be blunt, sex is sex to Jae. He could care less what parts you have or what you identify as, because it's all the same  on the inside. That's a little cheesy, and he hasn't even dated anyone seriously before outside of hookups, but he truly believes that a personality trumps whatever gender you might be.

UNLIKE ME!

— how did they receive their mental issues/trauma/special need?
	As someone doesn't really "catch" anger issues, they've sort of always been a part of Jaehwa. While it didn't escalate until he matured, the signs began showing themselves as early as elementary school, where he would freak out and throw temper tantrums over things others wouldn't even notice or take offense to.

—  how do they feel towards being put in a 'special class'?
	Honestly? Jaehwa really doesn't like it, as he believes the term 'special class' will make other students think something is wrong with him, and he really isn't up for whatever bullshit might spew from their mouths upon hearing that he's getting put into the class. So, yeah, he's a little bit grumpy and bitter and still doesn't want to be in school (shocker).
