1 Emotional intelligence = Leilani has a lot of control over her own emotions and knows how to understand and handle them. She can recognise her own along with other people's emotions with ease. Leilani is very self aware and can adapt her behaviours to any situation.

6 Outspoken = If there is one thing Leilani hates, it ignorance. She hates how people can just live life, refusing to acknowledge the struggles of others. Leilani is outspoken when it comes to issues such as racial inequality, sex discrimination, homophobia, transphobia and more. She feels it is important to talk about these issues more frequently.

#↠BACKGROUND ━━
Leilani was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia to two St Lucian parents along with an her older sister. She was fortunate enough to be living in a household with reasonably rich parents. Her parents adopted twin orphans when they were 5 years old and Leilani was 10 years old. They immediately felt comfortable in the family as the family are quite open minded and liberal and so they were able to fit in easily and weren't scared to approach anyone. Leilani had a time in her life when she realised that her interests were not common for that of a black girl her age, as stated by peers in her school. She felt uncomfortable doing the things she enjoyed in fear of being judged and it was a very low point in her life for this reason. She soon learned to embrace her individuality and learned that conforming is not always the right way to go. In school, she knew from early on that she was strongest at creative subjects as she often struggled in academic subjects such as Science and English. The only non-creative subject she enjoyed and excelled in was Spanish.

#↠THOUGHTS ON SOARA ━━ I see them being reasonably close. Despite Soara's catty nature, Leilani knows how to deal with her as she is very similar to her sister. Leilani really likes how she is confident and outspoken.

People used to tell her that her music taste and interests "were not black enough" and she used to be made fun of for that which made her question herself and her interests but she soon realised that you did not have to meet a certain criteria or like certain things to be black and now she is more confident in herself.
