Teddy_Banks knocks on the door
<HabeusKaiju>: wait, question. This pre- or post- meeting?]

Teddy_Banks opens the door and steps inside
<Teddy_Banks>: "Hey, boss"
<HabeusKaiju>: Hey there, how ya doing, Teddy boy?

Teddy_Banks slides into the seat
<Teddy_Banks>: "A Okay, boss man
<HabeusKaiju>: So, I never got to do one of these here interviews, but it's required off all S-men, so, how about we get to it, okay?
<Teddy_Banks>: "Let's hit it"
<HabeusKaiju>: Alright, what's your name?
<Teddy_Banks>: "Teddy Banks"
<HabeusKaiju>: Good, good. Where are ya from?
<Teddy_Banks>: "SoCal born and raised"
<Teddy_Banks>: "San Diego's a blast"
<HabeusKaiju>: gotcha, and your powers?
<Teddy_Banks>: [Are we doing pre instead?]
<HabeusKaiju>: no, no, you can ask, if ya want, it;ll be explained]

<Teddy_Banks>: "Like in more detail?"
<HabeusKaiju>: Yea, state your powers, and say what you can fully do with them
<Teddy_Banks>: "Well Telepathy and healing"
HabeusKaiju nods
<Teddy_Banks>: "My folks got doctors to work out the whole shebang though down to like a science"
<Teddy_Banks>: "My telepathy functions as a form of electrically mumbo jumbo signals that like share a form of linguistic thoughts forming conversations between two or more people"
<Teddy_Banks>: "Im packing about a 50 yard range I think for a whole group of people
<HabeusKaiju>: Gotcha
<Teddy_Banks>: and I can reach pretty far to talk to a single person"
<HabeusKaiju>: how far we talking?
Teddy_Banks shrugs
<Teddy_Banks>: "Maybe a mile if I'm really focusing"
<HabeusKaiju>: I can dig it
<Teddy_Banks>: "And I can do some cool hypnotic stuff to sleeping people or folks who are down to tango with my mind vibes, ya feel me, boss man?
<HabeusKaiju>: I feel ya
<HabeusKaiju>: Nothing too...intrusive, right?
<Teddy_Banks>: "I can read minds if I focus and share a stream of consciousness"
<Teddy_Banks>: "I can sharpen or dull the emotions of willing people and less intelligent people"

Teddy_Banks looks down at his hand which has Antonio and Skyler written on it
<Teddy_Banks>: "Yeah, we'll see"
<Teddy_Banks>: "Oh you know getting back to the crib, shootin' the wind, going out and finding cuties, get some appetizers"
<Teddy_Banks>: "Whatever the dudes are into I'm all about bein
<Teddy_Banks>: Doctor Feelgood with my bros ya know man?
<HabeusKaiju>: I gotcha. I gotcha. I use to do the same thing with my old bud, Chad, back in the day
<Teddy_Banks>: "Well I mean dude singular doesn't jam so well"
<Teddy_Banks>: "Its all about the dudes"

<HabeusKaiju>: but, other than hanging, what else do you like to do?
<Teddy_Banks>: "Well I used to party it up a lot"
<Teddy_Banks>: "Wish I still did"
<Teddy_Banks>: "Folks aren't so down with the receipt I was dropping though"
<HabeusKaiju>: Well, I am sure you can still find ways to have fun here
<Teddy_Banks>: "We'll see"

Teddy_Banks shrugs
<Teddy_Banks>: "Seems pretty quaint"
<Teddy_Banks>: "Not my style but I can dig it"

<Teddy_Banks>: "Well you wanna hear about my second power?"

<Teddy_Banks>: "Well it's kinda like healing"
<Teddy_Banks>: "My body's all tricked out to help with recovery"
<Teddy_Banks>: "My skin let's out little enzymes and stuff that speed up the body's natural processes and causes regeneration, and then I let out like a pheromone that dulls pain and makes people feel healthy and good"
<HabeusKaiju>: nice!
<Teddy_Banks>: "It's subtle but if you look for it you'll notice it when I'm around"
HabeusKaiju nods
<HabeusKaiju>: Anything else?
<Teddy_Banks>: "Not really with powers but telepathy has room for growth probably"
<HabeusKaiju>: Oh, totally. We have people to help with that, and such
<Teddy_Banks>: "Cool"
<HabeusKaiju>: And, I'll get you a room as soon as I can, okay?
<Teddy_Banks>: "I can probably get a apartment in town if a room isn't working out"

<Teddy_Banks>: "Why are you scared of my powers?"

<HabeusKaiju>: I have had...a bad encounter in the past...with mind stuff
<Teddy_Banks>: "Well what's that got to do with me"
<HabeusKaiju>: I spent 2 months not in control of my body...so I feel uneased by hypnotic suggestions and such
<HabeusKaiju>: It's not you, it's just....how it is
HabeusKaiju scratches his neck
<Teddy_Banks>: I mean what most quacks and telepaths call hypnosis is all wrong
<Teddy_Banks>: They just like hijack your mind and stuff"
<Teddy_Banks>: I'm just an actual hypnotist
<HabeusKaiju>: Yeah, I guess...
Teddy_Banks adjusts his collar
<Teddy_Banks>: "Right"
<HabeusKaiju>: Sorry, I just got back from it, and I need to work on it, ya know?
<Teddy_Banks>: "It's tough man"
<Teddy_Banks>: "Being a telepath"
<Teddy_Banks>: "I tell anyone Im a telepath and suddenly I'm some kinda supervillain jr. schools throw you out, friends stop wanting to be around ya"
<Teddy_Banks>: "Don't even get me started on romance"
<HabeusKaiju>: Sorry Ted, I didn't mean to offend, it's unfair, I can dig that. How many people think about inviting me to dinner parties?

HabeusKaiju chuckles
<HabeusKaiju>: So yeah, listen, it's nothing against you, just something I will work on, okay?
HabeusKaiju holds out his pinkie, and wriggles it

Teddy_Banks shakes pinky
<Teddy_Banks>: "I'm gonna level with you, boss"
<Teddy_Banks>: "This kinda killed my vibes, I've gotten thrown outta 3 schools for this its so easy to just claim I cheat, I was kinda hoping this place would be used to this sort of thing"
<HabeusKaiju>: Hey, hey, the school is fine with this stuff man, trust me. Just, it's an irrational fear of mine. You see where I am coming from, right?
<Teddy_Banks>: "I guess"
<Teddy_Banks>: "You would know if I was in your head anyways I make a sound when I am"
<HabeusKaiju>: alright, I'll take note. Is that all then?
<Teddy_Banks>: "You'll hear white noise"
<Teddy_Banks>: "And yeah I think I'm through speaking to you"
<HabeusKaiju>: Alright, hope to see you again then, Ted!
HabeusKaiju smiles and waves
<Teddy_Banks>: "We'll see"
Teddy_Banks gets up out of the chair
Teddy_Banks exits the room

HabeusKaiju scribbles down on his notepad

Teddy_Banks checks into the hotel he's staying at while his room gets settled sits out on the balcony smokes half a g while tuning in and out to people streams below before going into his room and sleeping

<Teddy_Banks>: "Hey dude I'm asking like everyone have you seen my bong?"
<Skyler>: "Never seen it before. What's it look like?"
<Teddy_Banks>: "Crystal, little bowl, kinda tubular"
<Skyler>: "Nope. I'll keep my eyes peeled. Consider it my repayment."
<Teddy_Banks>: "Hey no worries man"
<Teddy_Banks>: "Hey we're like bros right"
<Skyler>: "We're S-Men, dude."
<Teddy_Banks>: "We're gonna go places man"
<Skyler>: "I'm more focused on the whole saving people aspect than the fame."
<Teddy_Banks>: "Oh well shyeah"
<Teddy_Banks>: "Anyways got some scoop on tall dark and creepy out the woods, checkit"
<Skyler>: "Do tell."
<Teddy_Banks>: "Apparently he's been here for like half a year traveling around the state mostly settling in like the woods nearby, actually has some vicious tech"
<Skyler>: "Got it. That all?"
<Teddy_Banks>: "I guess"
<Skyler>: "Thanks, man. It'll help."
<Teddy_Banks>: "Skyler"
<Skyler>: "Hmm?"
<Teddy_Banks>: "I don't like shoot from the heart all the time but"

<Teddy_Banks>: "I was worried about like when I moved here even like my folks had basically tossed me out"
