  1. As for the dancers all their non extra styles have Chaos Induction as their basic ability (this probably explains itself. Because they are a pair that both complement each other, Mai will be the focus leaning one (vital energy) and Satono will be the spread one. (mental energy) Some people do not like the approach of all styles being focus or spread only, but I don't really care and you shouldn't either. Rikakos are like that, Ellens are like that, Shizuhas are like that, and many more. The Satonos are going to be mostly slow in nature, (before applying boosts) as she's the discreet one, and Mai is going to be generally fast as she's the straightforward, quick-to-act one.
  2.
  3. Their main typing is Sound. Mainly because, while a not really being that, dancing is associated with Sound in this game (EKokoro, Waltz) And what's more, they are both Noh performers, which is what Kokoro is too, and EKokoro is the one that's obviously designed around that aspect, so both of Mai's and Satono's main styles get to be that. Since I want to mirror them, they will all have the same typings across their styles. (I also think these are the ones that fit them best) Aditionally, the omikuji said Satono's fortune is good for music, so that's another minor supporting point.
  4. Dark/Sound also lacks puppets that fulfill supporting roles. Most of them are just out to kill you, which is understandable given the offensive potential of the typing. To be fair, Assist Mai is probably only going to get used in such a way too I think.
  5. The attacking styles are going to have a Nature type added onto them since their weapons of choice are bamboo and ginger leaf. No, actually they aren't really their "weapons", but they perform holding those, so it's the closest thing to a proper secondary typing for the niche I could come up with. That aside, most Nature Sounds are rather defensive or jack of all trades in the basic game, so I'll have both of them lean in heavily on their respective spectrum.
  6.
  7. Extras are Warped because they are very very Warped in the head now. Void also works actually but both you and I are sick of coming up with mono voids. Having some more mono Warpeds is something that is more needed than that. Yes, more than Warped Voids too.

  122.
  123. The idea is to have a bunch of boosting moves that only indirectly increase Infinite Scale's Power. Invoke Deity can be good with that, but maybe this is more on the weaker side. It's not very reliable, it's slow to get going, and it's not as good as just being able to do shit like +2 SpAtk Spd in one turn like Mystia or having Fairy Dance, but Invoke Deity doesn't exist with Infinite Scales yet and it can win games with some Russian Roulette playing, which is honestly funny and wouldn't hurt to have more of.
  124.
  125. Blade Dance is in brackets because that is the one thing she needs to beat Winds reliably. Without it she's probably a bit doodoo, but she can get around by >wasting< a moveslot for Aquatic Waltz.
  126. Also, usually everything that gets Blade Dance doesn't even wanna use it, so this is like the one time something gets a lot of mileage out of it. Everything having coverage to hit what normally walls them is cringe, but this needs to sacrifice something big for it: the boosting move, the healing or a stab.

  195. If this does happen to end up being too weak because it never gets to set up, some FoAtk can be thrown into HP.

  273. Assist Mai's disruption is supposed to to be immediate unlike Satono's, which makes her a little more reliable at getting them off before dying, but pays for it heavily in terms of longevity. Fortunately, the speed is so high that she doesn't have to invest in it at all. Most likely she'd just end up getting used as some sort of attacker though. Having a super fast White Lily Dance is cool.

  356. It's basically the current Speed Teireida, but the stat spread is fixed. The ability with that speed tier is absolute bonkers though (as focus puppets can't utilize Mindless Dance very well) so maybe this could be much but Peach Thorn kills you really quickly and Detonation Burst will always work against the ability. You can just run the 95 moves though and they will still perform really well most likely.

  426. Overdrive + Dispel Charm + Nimble is a funny combo. (Or Gensokyo Typhoon) Alternatively you can finish off a team that only has focus attackers left through Vigorous + Mystic Wind and Miasma TM. Wind move for Poison types too, but it's difficult slotting that in because you want stab, Continue, Mystic Wind and Miasma.
  427. You can give this a few other supportive tools too like a trap or Phase Inversion so instead of being a super awkward wincon with Vigorous, she can just use that for the actual healing instead while also functioning like a real puppet.
