  1. == PvP Tips ==
  2.
  3. 1) Can use D-scan to see if your target has backup coming.
  4.
  5. 2) Keep-at-range ships faster than you and orbit ships bigger than you. But if it's a missile ship rush it head on since their accuracy is not affcted by turrent tracking, but instead by speed/sig-radius (but dont let yourself get to 0km, just keep going past them)
  6. * orbit larger ships outside smartbomb range
  7.
  8. 3) Can make safespots where it's highly unlikley for someone to find you, by making a bookmark mid-warp in order to get 15AU from any other celestial body (15AU is out of dscan range)
  9.
  10. 4) Take note of what people name their ship, as the name itself can give away what it's for (e.g. 'valuable transporter'; dscan shows ship names)
  11.
  12. 5) Kill order: Logi/ECM/Tornadoes (if in range) --> Frig/Dest -> Cruisers
  13.
  14. 6) If you're getting outranged it's better to just kill whatever's tackling you, then use MJD to GTFO.
  15.
  16. 7) The best EWAR drones are ECM drones cause they dont have stacking penalties, and they are very good for GTFO by using them to jam whatever's is tacking you then warping off.
  17.
  18. 8) Sentry turents are good for gate camping
  19.
  20. 9) Armor IMO is better than shields for PvP because it doesn't increase sig and gives more room for mid-slot utility (propulsion, scram, webify, etc)
  21.
  22. 10) 70% resis in a damage type is a good place to be at but 85% is great. Any higher than 85% you're usually sacrificing DPS or utility.. 55% would be the absolute minimum.
  23.
  24. 11) If you are in the middle of locking someone, you can activate your mods and they’ll instantly turn on when you’ve completed the lock. This can make the difference between a tackled target and a free target.
  25.
  26. 12) Alpha strike is good to negate logi, as logi cant heal something that dies in 1 hit from 1 or more tornadoes.
  27.
  28. 13) Cap boosters or cap batteries are good for dealing with neuts, and smartbombs for drones
  29.
  30. 14) Use the look at function to see what weapons a ship has fitted
  31.
  32. 15) Active defenses are great for solo PvP but vulnerable to neuts. In fleets their generally not used because you should already be getting boosted by logi.
