[The Malton Zookeepers] New announcement: Hello Old Friends!

Howdy old friends!

This is Keet (a.k.a. Angry Parakeet) from The Malton Zookeepers. Remember us? No? How about Urban Dead? No? Hmm, well at least take a moment to read this message.

If you happen to remember us, I want to let you know we're still around and still kicking! We still have a core group of mental cases......ahh, I mean members who lurk around the forum discussing a myriad of topics ranging from gaming, books, movies and art to life, death, politics, current events and members who no longer visit. Yea, that's right! We've been talking smack about you!

Urban Dead is still up but sadly the last few years she has seen a steep drop in activity. Of the nearly 2 million who have joined from day one, few are playing these days and few are joining up. Considering it is a 6 year old on-line game which really hasn't changed too much, this news shouldn't be surprising.

What is rather surprising (or isn't I guess) is a group called "The Dead" have decided they are going to "break" Urban Dead. I know, it's been attempted before and failed. Sadly this time, with past games changes, fewer players, Kevin's seeming absence and the sheer size of "The Dead" there is a very good chance it will reach a point of no recovery. 'Tis a sad time in Malton indeed.

You should know however, I'm not sending this message in a "call to arms". If Malton's fate is to end this way, so be it. I mean really, did you expect the Zookeepers to actually WORK to save the game? The word "Lazy" in Webster's dictionary actually lists The Malton Zookeepers as example #3! No, I felt since this may well be Malton's last days why not have old Zookeepers and friends get together to see the old girl off? Urban Dead was where TMZ started and where most of us met.

So let's make a party of it! We miss you and would really like to hear from you! Stop by and say hello to your old chums and share your memories (Or nightmares) of TMZ, UD or anything else.

Try as you might though, you'll never find the area where we talk smack about you! We hid it well!

BTW - I'd suggest you do not log in to UD until you stop in here or the visit UD Wiki. Malton is in seriously bad shape and if you wake your character, it will likely be in a ruined area with no place for you to hide.
