Get Goombella

Go to the shop:
Fire Flower x2
Fright Mask x1

Go right, jump into saveblock dialogue cutscene. If you intend to save at all, hit the save block before continuing.

Get the star piece behind the barrels

Go into bandit cutscene. Go back to the left and retrieve coins from bandit's house, and get the star piece behind the mattress.

Get the star piece behind the barrels

Grab the star piece behind Frankley's house

Go back to the right and talk to Frankley.

Say no to action command tutorial

Mini-Boss: Goomba Trio

Go down the pipe, go around the goomba. Wait on the yellow block for the spikey goomba to notice you, then jump over him.

Break the yellow block on the right side and go down the pipe.

Grab the star piece between the pipe and the big yellow block

Grab Pretty Lucky from the invisible block directly south of the small crack in the wall.

Grab the black key off the ledge, then get plane mode.

Fly over to the other side of the room.

Equip Power Smash before going down the pipe (Goombella will tell you to if you forget)

Jump into Hooktail cutscene

Grab Close Call on the next screen

Walk behind bush on the next screen and check it to open pipe

Jump on the switch to active that bridge, then walk past it to get the star piece

Talk to the mayor of Petalburg

Grab the star piece from the first bush on the way to Shwonk Fortress

Grab the POW block from the block next to the spiky goomba

Fortress Fight 1:
Mario: POW block

Grab the POW block from the bush next to the second fortress

Fortress Fight 2:
Mario: POW block

Grab the fire flower from the yellow block on the next screen
Hit the heart block before entering the quiz room

Quiz:

Answers: 1 3 4 2 3 (If you mess one up, the 6th answer is 1)

Enter Shwonk Fortress

Go left and avoid the fuzzies

On the way back to the sun and moon stone pedestals, grab happy heart

On the plane panel, walk to the edge and hold right until you are under the bridge, then glide over to HP Plus. Jump in the water and you will spawn back up on the plane panel

Enter Hooktail Castle

Grab Power Bounce in the first room

Say no to reading letter

Mini-Boss: Red Bones

Koops: Fire Flower
Mario: Untimed Power Smash

Grab the shine sprite in the next room.

Hit the purple switch to lower purple block

Grab the star piece on the top platform

Do flip skip

Ride the purple block up, and grab the star piece on the other side of the loading zone.

Enter the jail cell room

Get the black key and navigate the maze

Get paper curse

Grab Attack FX R

Go back to the second room and grab the red key behind the bars using Koops

Go back to the fourth room and ride the green block up to the door

Hit the switches in the window room

Jump out the window and go right, use Koops to grab the star piece

Go back to the left and enter the door

Ride the green block up

Enter the door to the left

Mowz Cutscene

Grab key and shine sprite

Go back out the door, run from the dull bones encounter

In the next room, ride the yellow block up, and grab the star piece behind the bars to the right using Koops

Fly across the room and go through the door

Go up the stairs and grab the shine sprite

Go back down and hit the yellow block, then fall down to the bottom

Get into an encounter with the first Parakoopa in the castle, and use it to get Koops into peril

Head back to Petalburg

In Petalburg, buy two courage shells, four POW blocks, and two fire flowers. Then, go right and grab Mega Rush P

Head back to rogueport

Go to the House of Badges

Exit the shop and go left, grab the star piece off the roof

Go back to the right and talk to merlon

Enter the pipe and go left

Grab the star piece behind the pillar next to Dazzle

Go down to Thousand-Year door room

Fly across the room and enter the room where the pit entrance is
