  1. I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for peace in the history of /ddlc/ and Dokis.
  2.
  3. Five score years ago, a great game developer, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, put forth this game Doki Doki Literature Club. This momentous event came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of anon who had been seared in the flames of withering hope. It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long nights of their depression.
  4.
  5. But three hundred threads later, the anons still are not free. Three hundred threads later, the life of the dokis are still sadly crippled by the manacles of bullying and the chains of discrimination. Three hundred threads later, the anon lives on a lonely island of sadness in the midst of a vast ocean of wholesome, love, care and hearty conversations. Three hundred years later, the anon is still languished in the corners of bully society and finds himself an exile in his own land. And so we've come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.
  6.
  7. In a sense we've come to our 4chan general thread to bring forth poetry and beautiful content. When the architects of our community wrote the magnificent words of the Doki’s Declaration of All-Best-Girls, they were signing a promissory note to which every anon was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all dokis, yes, yuri-anons, sayori-anons as well as natsuki-anons and monika-anons, would be guaranteed the "unalienable Rights" of "Comfy, Wholesomeness and the pursuit of Happiness." It is obvious today that /ddlc/ has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her anons of different dokis are concerned. Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, Doki Doki Literature Club General has given the doki-anons a bad check, a check which has come back marked "insufficient love."
  8.
  9. But we refuse to believe that the bank of love is bankrupt. We refuse to believe that there is insufficient love in the great vaults of peace of Doki Doki Literature Club General. And so, we've come to cash this check, a check that will give us upon demand the riches of love and the security of comfy.
  10.
  11. We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind /ddlc/ of the fierce urgency of Now. This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Now is the time to make real the promises of justice. Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of bullying to the sunlit path of cooperation. Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of doki-bullying to the solid rock of wholesome peace. Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of /ddlc/ anons.
  12.
  13. It would be fatal for the community to overlook the urgency of the moment. This sweltering summer of the bullied dokis legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. Twenty Eighteen is not an end, but a beginning. And those who hope that the bullied needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the community returns to business as usual. And there will be neither rest nor tranquility in /ddlc/ until our doki is granted their loving rights. The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our community until the bright day of peace emerges.
  14.
  15. But there is something that I must say to my anons, who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of peace: In the process of gaining our rightful place, we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence and waifu-wars. Again and again, we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting dokis with pure unadulterated hearts.
  16.
  17. The marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the /ddlc/ anons must not lead us to a distrust of all /ddlc/anons, for many of our sayori-anons, yuri-anons, natsuki-anons, monika-anons, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny. And they have come to realize that their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom.
  18.
  19. We cannot walk alone.
  20.
  21. And as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead.
  22.
  23. We cannot turn back.
  24.
  25. We cannot be satisfied as long as the Doki's basic treatment is bullying and abuse from a toxic few. We can never be satisfied as long as our threads are consumed by the reactionary warfare of bullying and counter bullying.
  26.
  27. I am not unmindful that some of you have come here out of great trials and tribulations. Some of you have come fresh from waifu bullying. And some of you have come from areas where your quest -- quest for freedom left you battered by the storms of persecution and staggered by the winds of waifu brutality. You have been the veterans of creative suffering. Continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive. Go back to 4chan, go back to sayori-posting, go back to monika-posting, go back to yuri-posting, go back to natsuki-posting, go back to the shitposting of our archived threads, knowing that somehow this situation can and will be changed.
  28.
  29. Let us not wallow in the valley of despair, I say to you today, my anons.
  30.
  31. And so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the Doki Doki Dream.
  32.
  33. I have a dream that one day Doki Doki Literature Club General will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all dokis are created equal."
  34.
  35. I have a dream that one day in the Doki Doki Literature Club General, The Old and New blood of the threads will be able to stand together, hands linked in comfy.
  36.
  37. I have a dream that one day even during euro hours, a time of great, sweltering conflict, will be transformed into an aegis of comfy and wholesome.
  38.
  39. I have a dream that our four Dokis will one day be appreciated and loved for their strengths, not torn down by their weaknesses.
  40.
  41. I have a dream that during burger hours, with its hordes of shitposters, with its doomsayers whose lips drip with bitter nihilism and defeatism -- one day during burger hours everyone will be able to join hands and help each other as members of the thread, not outside forces or weeping defeatists.
  42.
  43. I have a dream today!
  44. I have a dream that one day every thread shall be wholesome, every Doki shall be loved, and the Anons who struggle will be brought up, and the Anons who slave over their fics will be made straight.
  45.
  46. This is our hope, and this is the faith that I go back to the general with.
  47.
  48. With this faith, we will be able to hew out of the mountain of depression a stone of joy. With this faith, we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our fics into a beautiful symphony of literature. With this faith, we will be able to make poems together, to help together, to struggle together, to go to the archives together, to stand up for our dokis together, knowing that we will be united one day.
  49.
  50. And this will be the day -- this will be the day when all of Doki Doki Literature Club General will be able to sing with new meaning:
  51.
  52. Every day, I Imagine a future where I can be with you.
  53.
  54. And if Doki Doki Literature Club General is to remain a great thread, these rules must become true.
  55.
  56. Let the wholesomeness ring of all the heartwarming Dokis.
  57.
  58. Let the love ring of all the beloved Dokis.
  59. Let the devotion ring of all the longing Dokis.
  60. Let the affection ring of all the beautiful Dokis.
  61. Let the respect ring of all the wonderful Dokis.
  62.
  63. But not only that:
  64.
  65. Let the rhythm of poetry canonize all the perfect Dokis.
  66. Let the colors of pictures dignify all the perfect Dokis.
  67. Let the adventures of fiction deify all the perfect Dokis.
  68. Let the melody of music enshrine all the perfect Dokis.
  69.
  70. Let the love of all the Dokis become a reality.
  71. Your reality.
  72.
  73. Let the love of all the Anons become their Dokis reality.
  74. Our reality.
  75.
  76. From every anon, let unity ring.
  77.
  78. And when this happens, and when we allow wholesomeness to ring, when we let it ring from every post and every fiction, from every poem and every hour, we will be able to speed up that day when all of Doki Doki Literature Club General’s anons, The Old Blood and The New Blood, Sayori-Anons, Yuri-Anons, Natsuki-anons, Monika-anons, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old DDLC spiritual:
  79.
  80. What do you call love in your reality?
  81.
  82. Bless y’all
