Heungmin always had a passion for music. He always loved the music department in his school and was close with all of the music teachers as he was always seeking help and guidance from them to better his musical craft. In school, he was very popular as although he had a bad temper, he was actually a nice guy and was always welcoming and open to new people. He was particularly popular with the girls as he had a playful yet charming personality. It was no secret that a lot of girls joined the music club in his school to get closer to him. He was first only interested in writing music but then he slowly started getting into composing music and the teachers would often let him and maybe a couple of friends of his choosing, use their music studio in his free time. He was inspired by artists like G-Dragon and T.O.P who often wrote their own songs; he was also really inspired by RnB artists such as Brian McKnight and Boyz II Men. Due to being diagnosed with dyscalculia, he wanted something to focus his attention on and so his goal was to audition for an entertainment company.

trivia ;
1. He has dyscalculia which is a brain disorder which prevents him from being able to do the most simple arithmetic calculations. Numbers get really jumbled up in his head and so he struggles to comprehend them. He hates not being good at something so whenever it is brought up, he can get defensive unless he is really close with you.
2. Since he has sister's that are constantly ridiculed because they are confident, he is also a strong advocate for women's rights and women being able to do and say and act the way they want.
3. He went to school in England and there he did his GCSEs. He did Spanish and actually got an A*. So he knows quite a lot of Spanish, he knows English as he grew up there and he knows Korean since his parents spoke it often. He finds it really easy to learn languages.
4. He goes to anger management therapy and classes. He used to have a serious problem with controlling his anger but over the years, the classes and sessions have been helping. Now he doesn't get anywhere near as angry as he did before.
5. He is scared of heights and will cry for his mum when he is too high. This is shocking to people since people usually only see his intimidating and strong exterior.
6. He has a habit of throwing his phone up and down when having a conversation with someone.
7. His celebrity crushes are Rihanna, Jessi and SZA.
8. He knows Jiu Jitsu and has been doing it since he was 12 years old.
9. He has written and composed music for a couple of artists and groups including Red Velvet, Mamamoo, The Boyz, Heize and a couple more artists.
10. His is a big gamer and wants to start a gaming livestream on twitch.
