Hong Lore

Backstory:

Zhentou is the only heir to the Hóng clan in generations. Due the status of the clan, and her own upbringing, she got well acquainted with battle and attacks on her life since early on, growing accustomed with death, rivals inside and out of the clan trying to take her out of the picture she grew to just ignore such attempts, and with time, totally apathetic regarding killing possible assassins, being just another part of her daily life.

Since her early childhood, her talent regarding Body Refining and yang-based techniques was shown, growing faster than many of her age, having few that could be called a proper rival, "Hm? That lady from the south? Hmmm,  this is dumb. You don't compare a spear with an axe. They are too different." Due to  her training, she developed one of the secret techniques of her Clan, making her eligible to one of their greatest relics, as well as gaining the right to be eligible as a clan heir.

Contrary to many great clan cultivators, or even normal cultivators, she is someone whimsical and carefree, disregarding any and everyone as people most of the time, in her views, those who are too weak to get a hold of their destiny, are no better than animals, and as such, will be treated as such. She is someone who takes glee in dominating and oppressing the "weak of spirit", as if they were  just dolls in her hands.

For those she recognizes as people, however, she tends to be a cheerful and energetic woman, albeit aloof and rough in her demeanor, speaking the truth with brutal honesty. Her greatest difference from many cultivators, however, is her wordly curiosity and whims, taking great pleasure in simple and mundane pleasures, more than many would think normal for a cultivator. In the end, she is a worldly and whimsical person, through and through.

Techniques:

Radiant Sun Physique (Heaven Rank):
A rare physique, which makes the body able to produce and release way more Yang-aligned qi than what should be healthy or maybe possible, generating enough Yang to set the surroundings of the Physique's owner ablaze, due the chemistry of the foundation and this physique, its effects are enhanced even further, this makes the body naturally stronger, and having a very easy time with yang aligned techniques, as well as enhancing body refinement techniques to great degrees. It also gives the owner of the physique a quick and powerful metabolism, requiring greater doses of poison to start to affect it, as well as having a boosted healing factor.
Body of Blazes Cultivation (Earth Rank):
A strange cultivation that focuses on the body, like a phoenix, or a blaze that feeds  on wood and coal, the body gets stronger by destroying itself and then being remade, enduring great damage in order to be reborn stronger, like a blaze that festers and becomes a pyre. A  frowned upon technique , but due the unique circumstances of Hong, she is able to easily handle this technique, making her incredible body even stronger.
Great Golden Barrier (Earth Rank, Defensive):
A yang based defensive technique, used to make barriers or shields of yang aligned Qi, and specifically made with warriors in mind, with the barriers being roughly as strong as half of the user's endurance.
Moon-Eater Swipe (Heaven Rank, Combat):
A technique that focuses on manifesting pure yang energy outside of the body, in the shape of a giant beast's claw, and then setting it ablaze, creating a giant claw of light that shuns off the dark, a burning inferno that melts and cleaves through anything on its way, this technique is very dangerous to friend and foe alike, targeting  large areas and destroying anything on its path with reckless abandon.

Items:

Left Grinning Maw of Fate:
A left hand clawed gauntlet that resembles a hound's head. It normally is a weapon that enhances the strength of the left arm, having razor-sharp blades on the clawed fingers, as well as having the capacity to boost yang-aligned techniques, and absorb part of the energy of qi attacks, greatly weakening them. Its true power is unleashed alongside those who achieved the Pure Ascending Sun technique in the Hóng Clan, making the user able to manifest a one clone of themselves, which has the same strength as the original, and when used in broad daylight, the strength of the clone is doubled, this power is sustained through the concentration of the user, as well as their determination and desire to win.

Thorn of Fate's Thread:
A chain that can be annexed to the Claw-Gauntlet, or used alone as a weapon. Is a chain with many rose-like thorns, able to shred flesh with ease, and absorb the qi of those it slashes or bind, in the case of binding or holding a target, it will start to move like a snake, coiling around it, while it absorb qi in a constant manner. The weapon by itself can be used as a whip, as well as moving by itself like a serpent. When used in tandem with the Left Grinning Maw of Fate, it takes the same characteristics of the weapon as long as it is connected to it.

The Hong Clan’s Ancestor, as well as the Clan’s de facto Leader. To call him a snake would be a disfavor to him, since he is much worse. Back in the day of the Northern Conquest by the Jin Empire, he broke through enemy lines like an earthquake, shaking the foundations of the North completely. Even if he is now “old”, his power is to not be underestimated, keeping the same edge of his youth.

After Conquest was done, he moved his clan to the Northern Territories, to keep a tight leash upon the North’s politics, orchestrating from the shadows infighting and other intrigues, to keep the rebellious and undesirable elements under control, to never unite again in the future against the Jin Empire.

A witty and cunning snake that hides in plain sight, to the untrained eye, he appears to be a happy go round old man, and a little senile, to any cultivator worthy their salt, however, the presence of a bottomless well of malice is what lies on their sights
