personality |  one thing about yeeun, is that she doesn't tend move quickly but each movement is carefully and very well thought out. yeeun is polite, and she always know the right thing to say in most kinds of situations (though she can get a little blunt, but it's never on purpose as she's only speaking her mind). elegance? you're looking at the epitome right here. yeeun wouldn't exactly call herself an extrovert, yet she's nothing like an introvert, so she's somewhere in between the two. truth be told, yeeun really likes the idea of having only a few friends that she's able to trust, and not having so many fake ones. yeeun is actually pretty chill and open-minded, though she does get quite stubborn when it comes to the things she believes in (coughconspiracytheoriescough). on the outside, she might seem cold, boring or even snobby, but that's just because it might take time to break the ice, you know? when she opens up, though, she's actually pretty fun to be with, and all the images regarding her would quickly disappear, as she's really not what you would expect. yeeun is somehow a contradiction within herself, going against her own words even at the wrongest of times. yeeun enjoys the things that make her seem relatable in addition to irony and/or sarcasm.
  deep down, yeeun actually feels fragile and insecure about herself because she didn't have much of a great past, so she never feels enough and someone needs to prove her wrong because yeah, she's enough, and she's not useless.

background |  to start off, yeeun grew up in a very wealthy family in the town of busan. her father works as a neurosurgeon and her mother a dermatologist. and by that, they of course expected a lot from yeeun and her older sister, jieun. the two had been complete opposites, as jieun was a much brighter kid who, in their parents' eyes, achieved more things and became the pride of the family while there's yeeun, nothing but a pretty face to them with the least amount of achievements. and of course, her parents, her relatives, and even her closest friends began comparing her to her sister (and started calling her snooty and all that shit, then ditched her because they thought yeeun was very hard to talk to). there was a phase in her life in which she felt useless and untalented, and somehow she became a disgrace to her family because yeah, her parents wouldn't boast about her the way they do when it comes to jieun.
  and so as time passes, when she's finally had enough, and thought that even if she had rebelled against her parents' will, it would be of no use anyway, so she put all of her effort into becoming the person everybody expects her to be--a girl with good grades, a girl who achieved lots of things (including being able to play the piano, winning debate competitions, etc), a girl who isn't so lazy, and a girl who is well-mannered and feminine. although she made her family proud, she didn't exactly feel happy as the things she had been doing was for other people, not for herself.
  she had this huge fight with her mother the day she graduated high school, as she decided to move to seoul to study in ewha women's university, and pursue whatever she wanted to pursue (ends up majoring in literature because she really doesn't know what she aims to be in the future) instead of what her parents wanted her to pursue. so in order to make herself happy, she moved to seoul and did whatever she wanted to do.

  + him: one thing that comes to mind, is that she's really pretty. but that's probably it, and it has never occurred to him that she actually went through quite a lot.
    "i wonder what the cat's name is."

  + her: even though seokjin doesn't bear any sort of form of difference compared to the guy he is on the series, he's probably a little more than yeeun had expected him to be.
    "definitely more pleasing to look at than he is on television."

status | beginning: so yeeun decided that she has no other choice right, and became friends with seokjin when she found out that the two had been quite similar, liking the same kind of jokes and all, and also after learning that the cold and chic image she put up was only a barrier she had set up that only her closest of friends know about. they hung out more as he technically lives in yeeun's apartment and she almost has nothing to do (yeeun's basically feeding off her parents' wealth at this point because she's too lazy to get a job). so yeah, they're friends.

middle: this is the part where yeeun began opening up about her past to seokjin after a certain phone call she's had with her father that didn't sound so pleasant. yeeun really liked the idea of seokjin comforting her after she'd gone on an emotional roller coaster telling him how she feels useless compared to her older sister and all, and at this point, they're a little something more than friends, but they were less than lovers, because they're still pretty much conflicted.

"so your life had been pretty boring before i showed up, huh?"

"i guess so."

end: in the end, though, they chose not to remain as anything more than friends because they didn't want anything to end. they did confess to each other, but still decided not to become anything.

where did your love interest appear?  | the living room where the tv's at

what was your character doing?  | yeeun just got home after hanging out with her friends and boy was she tired, so she decided to lay down on the couch after taking off her heels and maybe just catch some Zs there because she's too tired to walk to her room but thEN seokjin sat on the couch as she walked into her living room, so of course, while she's pretty tipsy, she has to deal with seokjin before taking care of herself.

what was your character's first reaction?  | she let out a "WHO THE HELL--jin? h-how?", squinting her eyes, still quite shaken because ha, who knew, her favorite character from the show just appeared out of nowhere and is now sitting on her couch stroking her pet cat on his lap, seeming as oblivious as ever to the fact that the world he's in is not his own.

what was his first reaction?  | seokjin, obviously, was pretty clueless about everything. so when yeeun walked in to the living room,  he just stared at her blankly while she was still recovering from her shock, and replied with "geez, why are people so dramatic? i know i'm worldwide handsome, but still!" and then he looks around, "my house looks ten times nicer than this.. place. where is this?"

when did your character started watching the show and why? | yeeun got bored of the shows that are usually on air, probably found it while surfing through the channels. she found it quite different from the usual stuff she watches so she was pretty hooked. it became one of her favorite shows, one that felt like it could be an escape for her from all the shit she's dealing with in her life.

  + going to an art gallery together and seokjin just compares himself with the art, meanwhile yeeun secretly agrees bc damn right he really, sincerely, ultimately belongs in an art museum
  + seokjin cooking for yeeun when she says she misses homemade food, and that she hasn't gone home in a while because somehow, home doesn't even feel like home anymore (home is actually where seokjin is but he doesn't have to know that.. not yet, at least)
  + them just spending a day together, listening to music, playing with basil or watching korean dramas and all that shjshsjh
  + yeeun and seokjin going to the amusement park together and just have a lot of fun!!!

  + yeeun finally decided to get a job because seokjin somehow convinced her to after she talked about how she's just spending her parents' money and it's at a nearby cafe and while she works seokjin just takes a casual stroll... and guess what happened? he got himself pet sugar gliders so when yeeun got home she's like "SEOKJIN. i can barely take care of basil and now i gotta take care of those sugar gliders too? what was their name, again? odengi?"

"sugar, relax! these are just sugar gliders.. see what i did there?"

"not funny. i didn't lend you my credit card for this shit."

"what should i do, then? sell them? you're cruel, sugar."
