That, in the opinion of the House, we:

**(a)** commemorate the 102nd anniversary of the birth of the late Jane Jacobs, visionary sociologist and member of the Order of Ontario,

**(b)** recognize her contributions to the field of city and town planning, including the protection of historic neighbourhoods and the promotion of vibrant, people-first communities,

**(c)** believe that her legacy continues to serve as an inspiration to people around the world.
