Q: What are you trying to do here?
Beat the game as fast as possible.

Q: Are there any glitches in this run?
No.

Q: What are you playing on?
A GameCube using a GameBoy Player.

Q: Who holds the World Record and what is it?
The World Record is 2:03:51 by Exarion.

Q: What Pokémon do you use?
My starter i choose is Squirtle because he is a beast. I also catch a Pidgey or a Spearow to use fly and a Ratatta or Paras to use cut.

Q: What stats are you looking for with your starter?
A Mild, Rash or Modest nature with extremely good Special Attack (ideally 30-31 IV), good Speed (ideally 21+), and not terrible Attack (20+ IV Modest, or 4+ IV neutral).

Q: Why are you checking your trainer ID at the start of the run?
This enables me to RNG manipulate a good Squirtle, albeit with a couple of restrictions. Each ID produces a unique list of starter stats, so by checking my ID, I'll know which Squirtles I'll get on certain frames. If there's a great one at, say, frame 4200, I'll want to select it in Prof. Oak's lab 4200 frames after my trainer ID was generated. This method is inconsistent because the RNG doesn't always advance at the same speed, so I might get Squirtle #4195 or #4205 in the example above.

Q: How do you find this list of Squirtles by ID?

Q: What is Torrent?
When you have 1/3 or less HP remaining, water moves do 50% more damage.

Q: Why do you pick the girl?
I don't.

Q: Why do you name yourself, your Rival, and your Squirtle a One character name?
I gotta save those frames.
