Beastmen of Gungan
Beastmen who lived in Gungan, were separated into Shibira tribe who accepted civilization and Natora tribe who lived with nature. Due to the difference in ideology, they lived in different areas and formed deifferent societies. However there was no difference in their intelligence and capabilities. Due to the fact that Gungan was a place where Ardore Emperor could not extend his domination, emperor schemed to stop their unification, provoking their mutual hate and opposition for a long time. The involvement of Lasswell, Reagan and their friends revealed the existence of mastermind, the two tribes finally could start to coexist peacefully.

Incident that hindered the cooperation treaty of Gungan
Before Lasswell and friends visited Lasswell, Shibira and Natora wanted to resolve their long-time hatred and formed a coexistence treaty. However there was an incident that prevented the sealing of the treaty. In the venue that the two tribes gathered to seal the treaty, there was a bombing incident and took the lives of many beastmen. It worsened the sentiments between the two tribes. The rulers were distrusted by their people for the decision, making cooperation even more impossible. The true situation was that, they were deliberately hindered by an agent appointed by Ardore emperor, who schemed to prevent the cooperation of the two tribe to resist his domiantion.

Crystallis
A vast underground world that existed below Paladia ground. Although there was a big hole that allowed the travel between overground and underground, in the distant past there was almost no communication in culture. Races that differ from the overground such as Kappa and Poochika formed their own civilization underground. Then, overground people started to develop Magitek and Illusion Magitek, which compelled them to start travelling to Crystallis for their crystal resources. After the independence war, an important figure of Hess was confined in Crystallis. The remaining forces of Hess are also acting behind the scene in Crystallis.

Mother of Hess
Yuraisha. In the war 700 years ago, as a Hess royalty of the past, she became the leader of Hess. She formed “Eight Sages” and commanded in the war. Although she was a benevolent character that loved the child of Ardore as her own child, she felt strongly for the Hess people who were heavily suppressed in Paladia. Therefore she insisted in the road to independence without considering peaceful negotiations. After the independence war, she received the punishment of “eternal crucifixion” with her immortal body, and confined for 700 years. To the remaining forces of Hess “Hess Children”, she was still the symbol of rebuilding Hess and they resolved to save her.

Illusion Magitek
A general term of a concept invented by Hess more than 700 years ago, in Paladia which was completely under the control or Ardore. Science was a term that moves machinery with physical principles; magitek was a term that that extracts supernatural power from crystals. Illusion Magitek is a high concept to from “Magic” from the basis of Magitek. With the development of Illusion Magitek, Hess obtained the power to fight against Ardore’s science and magitek, beginning the independence movement of Hess.
