Costumed Personality: Springheel Jack was described by Victorian sensibilities as "overly familiar" and "impertinent." By modern standards, he seems to be a friendly, courteous, highly optimistic man- and an upstanding citizen. While he might have a fondness for cheesy wordplay, there can never be any doubt that Spring-Heeled Jack will give his all to save the day.
Civilian Personality: Johnathan Arthur is a contract lawyer, operating out of the law offices of Arthur and Associates at 221B Baker Street. He works tirelessly to make sure contracts are fairly written, and will represent clients who believe they have been cheated with great fervor. -Skills: Having spent the last five hundred years or so sorting through Faustian pacts, legal documents, and contracts, he might just be Earth-324's greatest bureaucrat. He's also surprisingly skilled in fisticuffs. Working with Sherlock Holmes, he managed to pick up a degree of observational prowess.
-Powers:
--Demonic Physiology: Jack has super strength, enabling him to hit extremely hard... though he always holds back against living targets. This gives him his trademark ability to leap tall buildings in a single bound, and kick with the power of ten horses. His thick skin gives him a surprising resistance to damage. Of course, he can vomit blue and white flames!
-Gadgets: A bulls-eye lantern that reveals ghosts, shapeshifters, and other supernatural creatures for what they truly are. He also has access to Sherlock Holmes's crime-fighting lab, hidden in a chamber in the sewers beneath 221B Baker Street, containing the most advanced scientific equipment available... during the mid-1800's.
-Weapons: He has a number of sets of gauntlets designed to help fight various supernatural creatures- a set made of cold iron for punching fairies, a set of silver ones for werewolves and vampires, nth-metal claws for hurting ghosts and elder gods...

Civilian Personality:  A short, bald, self-described mad scientist with a penchant for developing unusual technologies. He's none too happy about the fact that his lack of charisma- and the people who like the world just the way it is- tend to get his inventions ignored. His ego knows no bounds, his temper is short, and he's convinced that the world is out to get him. Being in academia, he's not entirely wrong.
Super abilities:
-Skills: Thaddeus Sivana may, in fact, be one of the most brilliant men to ever live. He's a genius-level roboticist, chemist, biologist, mechanic, medical professional, physicist, atomic engineer, programmer, and astrophysicist. And those are just the diplomas he has in his office.
-Gadgets: A number of them- ranging from portable fusion reactors to bizarre chemical formulations and strange super-science equations that make his devices work. He also has a pretty sweet hoverchair that has a massive power draw.
-Weapons: Freeze rays, electro-rays, atomic lasers... He just needs some time in a hardware store and a chemical factory.

Character History/Origin: Thaddeus Bodog Sivana was born in a quiet suburb of Fawcett City, Wisconsin. From the hill behind his house, he had a very clear view of the Marvel Drive-In Theater. With a portable radio he built in his spare time, he'd always tune in to the late night sci-fi double features- which greatly colored his expectations of science and research. It was these films that inspired young Sivana to ignore the constant bullying at school and focus on his studies so he could attend MIT. He took a massive class load, and still managed to graduate with honors. He went on to work in one of MIT's labs, where he began designing and testing fantastic creations. Inspired by the science-fiction movies of his childhood, he came forward with progressive scientific ideas that could revolutionize industry but was rejected by everyone he approached. Laughed out of the university by people who called his inventions impractical and his science a fake, he settled into a deep, depressing rut and moved to Hub City to take up a teaching position. Of course, academia might have been even worse than the ridicule of the simple-minded fools at MIT. It was a cutthroat field in which seniority trumped everything, where he had to give most of his few-and-far-between research grants to the university.

Spending every cent he could funding his own experiments, Sivana grew angry and bitter. While his classes are highly informative, opening up new minds to the wonders of science, he was hardly ever a pleasant person to be around during office hours. It wasn't long before the cutthroat world of academia- and the continued refusals of investors, and fellow scientists- drove him to leave s
