  1. Post to Dark Odyssey Admin
  2. Any help getting this resolved as soon as possible would be much appreciated.

  4. This is regarding Rebel known on fetlife as Big_Bad_Rebel https://fetlife.com/users/844718, who claimed to be a member of the Dark Odyssey staff back at Winter Fire in which the exchange of property began. He has been withholding my property and I am declaring it as stolen. After multiple attempts at contact, my messages being erased from their facebook page, and basically on all accounts being dodged and ghosted on for the extended time of 7 months has led me to take more severe action.
  5. I am coming to the admins of the Dark Odyssey first before I advance to posting a public warning against him. I am hoping with the force of the community’s backing this will be cleared up and I will not have to go further with legal action against him. Any help in getting this amended is greatly appreciated.

  7. So here is the story:
  8.
  9. We met in February at the Dark Odyssey Winter Fire in which he proclaimed himself to be a staff member at that event. I had no reason not to trust him. After speaking to him, getting to know him abit. Found out he was a part of the Eastern Tribe of the Horde in which I had met a few members back at the Philly Renn Faire with my King and I expressed interest in possibly joining. He told me that he does leather commission work and I have been looking for a crafter who could replace the white fox head on my leather pouch with a coyote fur I had already bought for that purpose. He told me he could do it and wouldn't mind doing it free of charge. Though I insisted to pay him 20 dollars for the work and the cost to have it shipped back to me when it was completed. To me this meant a commission was now in progress. Once monetary values are spoken even if payment had not yet been transferred...I was expecting professionalism and communication. It was all fine in the beginning. I would contact him via messenger and request progress updates every once in awhile. Finally after a few months had passed I started getting alittle antsy. In all seriousness it shouldn't take a swap out that long, but I was trying to be understanding about his other commissions and took a back seat. I finally set a deadline around mid-April. He started sending me some progress pictures. Then when it came time to ship it out nothing happened. May came around and I would reach out to him and get no reply. It even seemed like he had stopped viewing the messenger altogether. I tried contacting him by his phone number he gave me to reach him on. It gets pushed through to voicemail. I've left him a few voicemails requesting about the shipping date...and heard nothing back from him. I've tried posting on his facebook page, in which I know he's been active, but mine gets erased.
  10. The pouch is not worth much monetary value (around $50 plus materials) but it is an integral part of my spiritual evolution and path and has a ton of sentimental value. I can not just go out and buy another one as I made this together with a leather crafter back in 2010 Pennsic by hand.

  15. As of a few days ago; 9/26 My partner tried to contact him via an unrecognizable number and got through to which Rebel tried to insist having sent out the package 2 weeks ago. He was asked to provide the tracking information and he has failed to do so.
  16. Now he is presenting those who ask with an obviously fake tracking receipt that shows a destination of El Monte, a place in California, where he knows well I live in the Philadelphia area.
  17. Attached are pictures of the supposed receipt:

  21. Thank you for reading and it is my hope that predators like this will not be allowed to continue to feed off of unsuspecting victims.
