- Legacy Creative Package License 1.01
- All works contained within this package are the original work of Michael Greene, known online as Volt Cruelerz.
- The works within this package may be used for the following purposes at the discretion of the reader:
- -educational non-commercial
- -recreational non-commercial
- -personal non-commercial
- The works and ideas within this package may NOT be used for commercial use without the express permission of Michael Greene.
- Such permission is almost certainly going to be part of a contract demanding compensation.
- This package may be redistributed at will, though this license must remain in the package. No individual piece within the
- package may be redistributed without being accompanied by this license. This license may not be edited by anyone other than
- Michael Greene or another individual to whom he may by written consent transfer the right to do so to.
- Michael Greene reserves all access to "Volt Cruelerz," "VoltCruelerz," "Volt_Cruelerz," "Voltaire Cruelerz," and other similar
- user names, pseudonyms, and nicknames. He does not reserve for himself usernames such as "Voltage," "Volt," "Voltaire," "Ben
- Cruelerz," and "Nicholas Tesla."
- Those terms and names mentioned as headings in the assorted documents in this package are reserved. They may only
- be used in Legacy-related works and thus they must abide by the aforementioned license requirements. The exceptions to this
- are as follows:
- -allusion: calling a space elevator the Global Ladder for example is allowed
- -popular reference: if Legacy becomes a major cultural icon, replicating the basic idea of what a Breaker Drive does for
- instance and calling it a Breaker Drive need not explicitly reference Legacy as it is implicit.
- Such use may be commercial and need not have Michael Greene's written consent (though a letter and/or
- copy of whatever you are using it in would be appreciated).
- -parody: parody works are of course allowed
- Should Legacy by some off-chance become a major cultural icon, its terms and names may be referenced in unrelated works
- provided that it is clear that Legacy was the origin of the term or name. For instance, if Legacy became sufficiently
- popular, writing a book generally unrelated to Legacy in which one character attempts to describe the personality of
- another by saying "He's a bit like a Storm" would be perfectly acceptable.
- Any future updates to this license that Michael Greene (or another to whom he has provided written consent to do so) performs
- apply retroactively to all packages that have already been distributed.
- This license overrides all other rights claims made by Michael Greene within the package.
- Above all else, common sense should be applied. Michael Greene wishes to be recognized for his work and does not wish
- for his ideas to be stolen. He wishes for his ideas to propagate. If the ideas contained within this package are
- commercially viable, he reserves the right to contractually demand compensation. He wishes to be able to continue using
- Volt Cruelerz as his global user name online without fear of others claiming the user name for themselves.
