Ape 2 Loading Differences

PS3 (JP) > PS4(PAL) / PS2(JP)

Backwards Compatible NTSC-J PS3 with Ape Escape 2 (JP) - 60hz, quick gadget swapping & fast loads. Best version to run.

PS4 (PAL ONLY) 50hz, runs slightly slower & has no quick gadget swapping. Loads roughly match PS3, faster than PS2. Only version currently available on PS4. Because of the 50hz thing, I have no idea just how much slower this version runs. This in combination with the lack of quick gadget swapping should put it ROUGHLY around the same speed as JP on PS2. Unfortunately boost jumping is really inconsistent in the PAL version so this could also effect your time.

PS2 with Ape Escape 2 (JP) - 60hz, quick gadget swapping, slightly slower loads.

I'd recommend playing JP PS2 over PS4.

If a Japanese PS4 release happened it would be roughly on par with PS3.
