- This is a weird problem I never expected to have. I'm a 5'5" woman, and typically my partners in the past have been around 5'11" or so, some shorter, give or take an inch. I know the conversation with women when it comes to men's height is usually, oh, he's too short. And from a purely physical aspect, I certainly do prefer taller men, but I've tried not to be superficial.
- And here's where maybe the monkey paw part comes in. I recently met this guy who is fantastic. But he is 6'7", and now, I'm starting to wonder if he is too tall. I'm not used to it, so it does feel a bit awkward to have to look up at him when talking, and we haven't gotten too physically intimate yet. I look at him, and I'm like, wow he is really attractive but he is maybe too big. But just as I wouldn't want to dismiss a guy who is otherwise great for being too short, I don't want to dismiss him for being too tall. Do any women have experience dating someone over a foot taller than them? How does it work? Is it awkward? I'm sure any height difference takes time getting used to, but I find myself wishing he was 7 inches shorter.
- tldr: Dating a tall guy, is there such a thing as too tall?
