Blue - Deflects Pulse Rifle Fire

The doors catch with a grinding sound as the creature comes pouring into the lift from above. Becker can’t shoot—if he does, they’ll be drenched in acid. Before he can shout a warning, Arthur gets a round off, but it’s not enough to penetrate. The bullet goes ricocheting past Becker’s ear.

With a deafening cry, the x-ray grabs the carry handle of Becker’s rifle in one claw and his wrist in the other. A jolt from its muscles, and his weapon is no longer in his control. Using the rifle like a club, it bashes Arthur’s handgun, sending it clattering across the lift.
