The sign glitch allows you to overwrite a blank action command ID with the sign's "!" icon.  This allows you to put Spin Jump on Luigi and allows for further action command manipulation.  Through manipulation of action commands you can get Firebrand on Mario as early as the first barrel room in Chcucklehuck Woods.  This means it is no longer necessary to get Firebrand from Oho Oasis and I can start using the action command glitch as early as that barrel room.  This glitch works on both English and Japanese versions and should save a lot of time on the English version.

On J, this doesn't change the route much and should save 3-4 minutes.

Enlgish is a different story, as this completely changes the second half of the run.  At this point I'm estimating 30-40 minutes can be saved on English.  I will know more after I've rerouted the English version.
