	Eko was born in Batam, Indonesia to a photographer and a stay-at-home mom. The Liang family consists of a Chinese-American father, an Indonesian mother, and four sons. All throughout his childhood, Eko had always been prone to getting himself into trouble, whether he asked for it or not. Sadly, this was primarily because his family was relatively poor. Sure, they got by but barely. His three older brothers always said it was because he was too small, which was a fact in itself. He was small for his age and had a lithe, feminine body. His sarcastic responses and sharp tongue didn't exactly help with the bullying either. He just couldn't help but to always want the last word when it came to facing the kids taller than he was. Not to mention, he was, and still is, a literal firecracker. He was all over the place and full of enough energy to power the whole of China. Despite all of the bullying he endured, Eko always had a contagious, sparkling smile etched across his lips. He was truly a happy kid no matter his circumstances.

	When Eko was 9, his dad's brother, his uncle, came to visit. Seeing the predicament that Eko was constantly in, his uncle offered for Eko to come and stay with him and his wife in China so he could go to a better school and also learn how to properly defend himself. His parents, deciding that they'd also had enough with watching their son getting beat up, sent him off to live with his aunt and uncle in Zhuhai, China. To ensure their youngest sons safety, they also sent their oldest three along with him. Nowadays, Eko often jokes that they were just looking for an excuse to get them all out of the house.

	Because their uncle is a taekwondo sabum (instructor), the four Liang brothers had to learn taekwondo during their free hours. Thanks to strenuous training regimens and extra Muay Thai lessons on the side, Eko quickly grew in both muscle and height. At 17, Eko had already reached his 9th dan black belt and grew to be a shocking 6'4". He dwarfed his older brothers who all ended their growth at 5'9", 5"11", and 6'0". That same year, Eko decided to voice his interest in going into he music industry. He had always had a knack for dancing and his vocals weren't anything to ignore.

	With the approval of his aunt and uncle, Eko went to South Korea to audition for an entertainment company. He was surprised when he made it in but he was quite relieved, not wanting to have to work to keep the temporary apartment he rented until after he auditioned. Eko trained for 4 1/2 years under FM Entertainment before finally being given the chance to debut.

	Eko is perhaps the most charismatic and rowdy person you may come across. He's loud and lacks a filter on his mouth. He seems to be constantly yelling given her literally seems to have no inside voice. He has no clue what the word "quiet" means and is the epitome of loud. He speaks his mind without thinking of the consequences beforehand but he is quick to apologize if he offended anyone. He is constantly joking around and is always that one person who randomly says something totally unrelated to the topic at hand. He loves memes and is literally the meme lord and is also probably the person who started #dicksoutforharambe. He is easily fired up and can be very hard to handle. He has way too much energy for a 22 year old. Sadly, he has something that works at a great disadvantage to his energy levels and height: clumsiness. Eko is very, VERY clumsy, thanks to his height, and is always bumping into inanimate objects as well as people. There's always a random bruise somewhere on his limbs from where he bumped into something, whether it be knowingly or not. Given he's always talking to someone about something, his mind is never on where he's going so it's easy for him to bump into stuff. His group members have gotten into the habit of just grabbing his arm and pulling him out of the way of whatever he's about crash into.

	Eko isn't easily angered but is definitely not someone you want to start an argument with because, as said, he's easily fired up and it will get out of hand quite easily with his loud tendencies. This has labeled him as the 'tough' guy, for some odd reason. Yes, he's intimidatingly tall and won't hesitate to go all ninja warrior on your ass if you mess with his friends or his food but he is by no means tough. Eko is very easily scared by totally unscary things and will try to play it off when he is scared, pulling the classic "haha that wasn't even scary" line. Eko is also a bit moody but not really, it's mostly just an act. He'll very casually just act offended and unhappy so the person who "upset" him will give him the attention he wholeheartedly believes that he deserves. He is constantly smiling and talking to everyone, his aura always brightening up the room.

	Eko, upon first meeting someone, always pulls an intimidating face and stance, both of which aren't hard for the taekwondo black belt and muay thai expert. He always pulls this intimidating move to scare new people but when they get to know him, they learn he's really just an over-excited puppy dog with a volume problem. He does this because of his past with bullying. He just doesn't want him nor his friends to get involved with the wrong people, even if they wouldn't even dare push the boundaries with Eko towering over them. Although he has a disability to stay quiet and serious for more than .05 seconds, Eko is quite responsible and caring. He holds a deep fondness for his friends and will go to great lengths to make sure they're happy. He absolutely hates when people he is close to aren't happy. He actually gives good advice when the moment presents itself. He is protective of the people he's close to, especially the younger ones, and will literally fight anyone who upsets them or talks bad about them.

	Despite the fact that Eko is loud and a total ray of sunshine, he is actually quite insecure. He has always lacked confidence in his abilities and appearance. He often overworks himself to perfect his abilities. Some nights, he practices until he is drenched in sweat and barely functioning enough to get to the dorm. Other nights, he won't even leave the practice room and will practice until he collapses. He doesn't even try to improve his looks. What does do though is not look in the mirror. No matter what, he never looks in the mirror because of his dislike for his looks. Even during practice, he closes his eyes. His group members have never really questioned him on it but they worry. Eko is always loud and spunky for the sake of his peers. He prefers to smile to give them reassurance instead of looking for reassurance from them. Where this mind set came from, he has no clue. He hates for people to see him cry and will hold it in until he's alone so no one can see him break down. Besides that, Eko is a very happy guy and you'd never be able to tell when he's upset, unless of course his usual bright smile isn't present.

	Overall, Eko is a boisterous and loving guy with a volume issue.

» | first impressions: Eko thought he was very kind to have helped him out and instantly felt drawn to him given he is an overly friendly person. It was a few hours after they'd met that he realized that the boy guiding him was hella attractive. He was kinda intimidated at first by Eko's height and thought he'd be someone who's scary but when he realized Eko was shifting uncomfortably and biting his lip in a nervous habit, he instantly felt a bit bad and approached him to help. When he spent more time with the deep voiced puppy that day, he felt more...relaxed.

It's so obvious that he's making a conscious effort to not stutter, even though that's something he can't help, and to not run into things. He literally is so blushy and somehow even more smiley around him and constantly seeks his approval. He'll do something and then instantly seek out his love interest with a bright smile and eyes that just say "look what i did! did i do well?". He loves having skinship with him and is literally always beside him, behind him, etc. and close enough to where they're touching. He always puts his hand on his love interests thigh whenever they sit next to each other, no matter where they are. Eko's "hot, charming sex god" side comes out more around his love interest and he takes great joy in the fact that he makes his love interest very flustered. Still, he is always gentle with him and always makes sure his love interest is okay with whatever they do (gentleman af). He's also aware of Eko's insecurities given they've known each other for years and always compliments him on his looks as well. He is definitely the supportive boyfriend and will literally root Eko on no matter what he's doing, whether he's failing or not. He's like that one person you hear in the stands cheering on their loved one at sports games. He loves seeing Eko's smile and finds it hard to look away from him, even going so far as to just stare at the unique beauty of his lover. He gets a bit annoyed that Eko always feels the need to ask before they do anything and makes it very clear that he doesn't care as long as Eko is touching him :)))))))), a sentence that made Eko very happy and much more touchy. He loves playing hard to get and purposely does things to make Eko either jealous or flustered. He pretends to dislike skinship from him but he actually absolutely adores it when Eko touches him. He literally melts into Eko's large, warm body whenever he's beside him. He knows he has Eko wrapped around his finger and lets him soak him in attention and cute gifts, that he very much cherishes, no matter the cost, since he knows it's the thought that counts with Eko. He is almost always flustered around Eko given the tall boy is either doing something cute and gentlemanly for him or something teasing and sexy. 	[BEGINNING] From the get go, they're very flirty with each other and so obviously in love with each other even though neither of them have confessed. The sexual tension is strong between these two and it's common that their group members make comments like "stop eye fucking each other and go do it for real". Don't get me wrong, Eko is still the cute, stuttering gentleman around his love interest.
	[MIDDLE] Eko is the first one to confess...sorda. Eko wanted to confess but had no clue how to do so. So, he decided to ask one of his group members, specifically another loud one, who then fangirled/fanboyed and ran away screaming about how Eko is gonna confess to his love interest. Well, the entire group heard and his love interest blushed really hard but then felt a bit bad for Eko since he knows how shy he can be when it comes to these things. He goes to find Eko, who has his face buried in his hands in complete embarrassment. Luckily, his love interest is just like "y'know all you had to do was say you like me" but Eko is all like "but i love you." and dnfvhnaigkjoruvfosifhgosifhdngoshnfgohriphogoahr. Ok sorry, I had a moment. But yeah basically. After that, they go from shy flirting to open couple actions, even though they unknowingly already did those before they even went out.
	[END] They are literal couple goals at the end. Eko is such a gentleman and his love interest is literally his one and only. His love interest is definitely spoiled with attention and love and sex......ual tension......nah, sex.

- They're on V App, at an interview, or just something public and Eko does that thing where he sets his hand on his love interests thigh while they're sitting. He sets it a little too high on accident (lol not really) and his love interest immediately squeaks in surprise and blushes. He tries to move Eko's hand but his lover is too busy speaking to notice his efforts so his love interest ends up just crossing his legs and biting his lip. Someone makes a comment on it and he replies all shakily while Eko kinda just smirks because he realizes what has happened.

- Eko's cat, Chibi, was taken to get groomed and was being dropped off at the dorm after it was finished. When they get the knock from the lady who is standing outside with Chibi in her arms, Eko opens the dorm and literally screams in terror. They shaved the cat where there was only hair on it's paws, head, and the tip of it's tail. All the group members gather around and they all have surprised reactions before hesitantly taking the cat and mourning the loss of it's fluff.
- An interviewer, another idol, or just some random person says something that upsets one of his group members, specifically his love interest, and Eko goes off on them. Afterwards, it's all silent and shit because he's a scary fucker when he's unhappy and he just walks away, making his group members, who are lowkey scared too, follow and they all look like bad bitches. (extra : his love interest moves up to his side and walks with him hand-in-hand - the king and his queen)
- One of Eko's group members tries to sneak up on him to scare him but Eko goes all ninja warrior on his ass and flips that person over his back but makes sure he/she lands softly since he had no intentions to actually hurt them.
- Eko gets his ukulele and is just sitting there playing and singing softly to 'I'm Yours' by Jason Mraz (#oldbutbeautifulsong) and all of the group members join in one by one and they have a little jam session.
