What is a "Gold Crown" Run?
In this category, the objective is to obtain the Gold Crown in KH2FM, then beat the game with it.

What is the Gold Crown and how do you get it?
Sora gains a crown on his head after completing these 3 objectives below. 1/3 gives you bronze, 2/3 gives you silver, and 3/3 gives you gold.
1. Beat Terra
2. Beat all of the Data versions of Organization XIII
3. Defeat all of the Organization XIII mushrooms

Can you read Japanese?
Yes and no. I can read Katakana perfectly fine, but I don't understand what most of the Hiragana or Kanji means at all. I mostly just memorize what is what and go from there. You don't need to be able to read Japanese to play these games.

Why not use the English patch?
It's a modification of the game. I like my speedruns to be as legitimate as possible.

How are you playing KH2FM? Emulator? Japanese PS2?
I'm playing KH2FM on an NTSC-U Playstation 2, using a Flip Top and Swap Magic. Use Google for more info on how this works.

Will you get/speedrun KH 2.5 when it comes out?
Probably. 2.5 will probably have slower loading times because of the Blu-Ray player, so it will probably have completely different categories.

What does the Gold Crown do?
Absolutely fucking nothing.

Why are you on Critical Mode? Isn't Beginner faster?
Probably, but Critical Mode has more hype factor. And Crit is not that much slower than Beginner, so it works out.

Why are you doing extra worlds? You don't need to do those in any%...
To unlock Terra, all worlds (including Atlantica and 100 Acre Wood) must be completed before you defeat Final Xemnas. A glowing ring around a world means that it has been completed.

Why are you grinding Drive Forms?
Some of your Drive forms need to be at a high enough level to make it through Cavern of Remembrance, as well as for having faster boss fights and such. This is how much I grind up each Drive Form.
