- tl;dr there were two misunderstandings that made both parties look bad and people latched on to it. People only read my first tweet and assumed I was hating on popular streamers who speedrun.
- Honestly, I doubt many people will read this, but I'm hoping at least a few will.
- It upsets me that people are misinterpreting what I said in these tweets to think that I was attacking Clint. The actual idea behind the tweets was to say my initial reaction to the clip and then to go on to say that maybe I've been over-reacting to it and that it's not all that bad to have a mindset like that.
- It feels that many people saw me as salty and jealous of his streaming career and lashing out at him, when that was absolutely not the case. It's somewhat understandable because I'm pretty sure that most people only saw the first tweet in the string, since that's what Clint replied to, but if anyone read my replies to the tweet I think they'd understand a lot better. At the bottom of this I'll type up the whole tweet string to hopefully have a few people understand a bit better what was said. In hindsight I definitely used more critical language than I should have, and for that I'm sorry.
- Also, I feel that it'd be unfair to mention that the same happened to Clint when I retweeted his tweet saying I'm worthless because 100 people are better than me at SM64. Apparently he was referencing things people said to him when SVA bopped him in OOT 100%. I was unaware of this and I retweeted because it felt like he went from 0 to 100 very suddenly and without reason. That misinterpretation was spread throughout the community because of the lack of context and made him out to appear far more rude than he was.
- Lesson learned on my part, talk about ideas and don't use specific people as an example if it puts them in a bad light. I'd like to apologize to Clint for this and for retweeting his tweet without first thinking about whether it was really as aggressive as I initially thought.

- The fact that no one other than me reacted negatively to this clip makes me think I have the wrong idea. I guess y'all are right and there's nothing wrong with trying to make money off twitch. It's a weird thought to me tbh. I guess I was put off by how bluntly he put it and how quickly people were to jump to "I love not putting in effort in speedrunning." Run your stream however you want, Clint is still better than 90% of full time streamers in terms of selling out tbh. Sucks for me though because it feels like everyone's turning speedrunning into a gimmick for viewers/money when it's my favorite hobby.
- Poorly worded the tweet last time. Meant to say that I won't judge you for how you stream and I'll be less worried about thoughts of mine.
