“Need some help?” Fox’s voice intruded on Scarlet’s thoughts. He looked around.

“Fox!” Coco shouted.

“Fox?” Reese and Olive looked confused.

“It’s a thing he does,” Coco and Scarlet said.

“I brought some friends. Hope there are enough Grimm to go around.”

Scarlet expected to see Yatsuhashi and Velvet, but when Fox arrived, Sage, Nolan, and Octavia were with him. Octavia used her kris to send a fiery blast at the Ravager at the same time Olive tossed her pike, bringing the Grimm down. Fox tackled a Dromedon that was bearing down on Reese, whose guns were clicking—out of ammo. Fox hacked at the Dromedon with his tonfa while Reese reassembled her weapon and used the bladed hoverboard as a melee weapon.

Nolan skidded to a halt beside Scarlet and Coco. “Special delivery!” he said, tossing a bandolier of bullets to Coco. “Already charged with fire Dust.”

Coco whooped. “You are my favorite person right now.” She opened her gun and reloaded it.

“I heard that,” Fox sent. “I’m the one who thought to bring you ammo, you know.”

“You think of everything,” Coco sent.
