BYUL'S RELATIONSHIPS
Byul is generally quite open when it comes to dating in the fact that as long as the other is alright with being public with the relationship then she would. She has dated here and there, had flings here and there and been in situations that almost turned into relationships but she is just trying to have fun and she believes that somewhere along the line, she will find the right person. When it comes to dating, as long as she clicks with you she is not too fussed; for instance, a lot of women don't like dating men who are younger than them but as long as the age gap is not too big and they go well together then she wouldn't mind.

>> Summary of history - The two met as she was one of the actresses in Shinee's View music video. On the set of the music video, Taemin immediately noticed her and couldn't take his eyes off of her. In between takes, they got to talking and they immediately hit it off. They talked about a bunch of random things, basically anything they could think of and they just immediately clicked. They exchanged numbers the when they were about to leave the set. The two of them hung out a lot after the filming and it got to a point where they hung out almost everyday for 3 weeks straight. After about a month of talking and getting to know each other, Taemin asked Byul to be his girlfriend to which she said yes.
At first they kept their relationship a secret. However, not long after the video came out, a news outlet caught the two out together and even caught a picture of them kissing. Fans immediately recognised her as the girl from the video and were shocked. Many didn't support the relationship at first as they believed she was gold digging since Taemin is a huge star. She just ignored them until finally the backlash stopped, only for it to start up again when it was revealed that she was debuting in a group. She received backlash as people then believed that the relationship was publicity stunt to promote her new group. Finally after a month or two, it died down.
The first few months of their relationship were really good. They enjoyed each other's company, they would do everything together and they would always be out and about together. However, when it got to maybe 6 or 7 months into the relationship, the relationship started to falter. Taemin's schedule was particularly packed with promotions for View and preparing for his next mini album and so he found it difficult to focus on their relationship. As well as this, with Byul being newly debuted, there was a lot of pressure to gain attention and so she and her group were training harder than ever, going on variety shows, doing special performances and anything else they could do to promote their group. For both Taemin and Byul, their relationship was the last thing on their mind at that point. They soon started to grow apart and it wasn't until 11 months into their relationship that they decided to break it off. They remained good friends and they still hang out and talk.

>> Summary of history - They first interacted over instagram when Byul posted on her story her love for his song Yamazaki. A couple of hours later, she got an instagram dm from Yongguk basically thanking her for liking his music as he was receiving a bit of criticism for it. They talked about a lot of stuff including pressure to maintain a certain image as a kpop idol, not liking the term "idol", and other issues to do with the kpop industry. They then decided to meet up as they got along really well and so a week later they met up at a random location, careful not to get spotted by fans or news outlets. After hanging out for a while, they went back to his apartment and talked, ate snacks and just enjoyed each other's company. One thing led to another and they were making out on his couch. This soon led to an on and off sexual relationship between the two which lasted for about 5 months. The two still remain friends that can easily talk to each other about issues they may be having.

>> Summary of history - Hanbin and Saebyul have been friends for about 10 years as they lived in the same small neighbourhood. They were not many kids living on their road that were their age and so they ended up becoming friends. The two of them, along with her brother Hanbyul and her other childhood friend, Jong Suk. They hung out almost everyday and they talked about everything together. Growing up, the two of them remained inseparable. They thought of each other like siblings. They both seemed to share a passion in the arts, specifically music and dance and so they joined school clubs together.
Over the years, the two remained close but there was never really any romantic feelings towards each other as they never really saw each other like that. Even up until 2017, they never really thought of each other like that until around April 2017 whilst she and Hanbin along with her brother Hanbyul were hanging out at her place and Hanbyul asked them if they were finally dating. Hanbin and Saebyul both looked at each other, confused at what he was talking about and so her brother expressed his annoyance that the two of them weren't dating as they were perfect for each other and knew everything about each other. After her brother left, it was just the two of them. What her brother had said got them thinking. They had never really thought about dating each other before so it was an odd thing to think about for them. That day, they discussed at length the pros and cons of them dating and the pros heavily outweighed the cons. That day, they kissed to see if there was any sort of spark or anything they felt towards each other and there was.
After contemplating for a while, they both decided to give dating a go and it was one of the best decisions that they had made since they are still together today. They had never been happier in a relationship than they were with each other. As Byul was three years into her career and Hanbin was four years with iKON, they had a lot more free time and had more of a flexible and relaxed schedule and so they were able to spend time together.
In 2019, their relationship hit a rock. This was during the whole ordeal with the alleged drug use. Hanbin was going through a hard time and sometimes when he is particularly stressed or going through a hard time, he tends to shut people out. Saebyul was there for him when basically the whole nation was against him and criticising his character. When Hanbin left iKON, things got worse. At this point, they were living together. He would often stay in his office for hours upon end, barely talking, barely eating and just moping about. It hurt for Saebyul to see him like this but she didn't know what to do.
Over time, Saebyul was able to help him, during his music hiatus she was there for him. When he had bad days, she stayed with him and let him vent all his anger to her. She let him cry on her shoulder. She was one of the people that helped him through his music hiatus and gave him that push he needed to get back to making music since she knew he couldn't live without it. She was really happy when she found out about his collaboration with Epik High and she loves the song so much that she is often playing it around the house.
She and Hanbin often talk about marriage but still aren't ready for it yet. They want to wait a few more years before getting married as they don't want to rush anything. But they are thinking of getting a dog together.
