- Designed to be a remix/revival of Pokemon Emerald. Every single map has been edited (for better or for worse). These maps are larger
- with more to do and more detail added. A focus on optional exploration and finding loot is a central part of the design philosphy.
- With new items from Gen 4 to 8, there's a ton to find and collect. Following the Bethesda "rule of 3" loosely.
- In addition to 12 new routes, including the new Grand Hoenn Desert, there's a new Sevii Islands style region to explore post game.
- As well as an event that will take players to the moon, several dozen new dungeons large and small. Hidden grottos, ruins, and new dive spots.
- Here's some of features:
- >Basic QoL features; Visible IVs, easier EV training, reusable repels, etc. However, things like Poison
- not causing fainting in the field is still in the game.
- >Dexit - Gen 3 was the original dexit, this hack does not feature a National Dex. Instead 115ish Pokemon have been added to the
- Hoenn dex, less Kanto and Johto, more Alola and Unova, but all regions are represented in a way that retains the feel of the Hoenn
- region. This is contrary to most "add everything" romhacks
- >Beta Pokemon; Around 20ish "new" pokemon are added to the Hoenn dex, based on beta designs. Some are entirely "new" pokemon,
- others are regional variants.
- >Travel to new regions! Snowpoint City, Ambrette Town, Virbank and more! Trigger special events or find hidden map pieces around the world
- to visit other cities in the Pokemon world.
- >Reworked Fishing Rods - No longer is each rod a direct upgrade over the next, but instead three different rods are given to the player
- further adding to the diversity of each route.
- >Gotta catch 'em all - Professor Birch will provide the player a variety of rare items, pokemon and even special events based on
- how many pokemon you've caught.
- >Reworked Movesets - Pokemon will now learn moves at much higher levels. Expect to learn niche and powerful moves in the 70s - 90s.
- >Reworked healing items and friendship mechanics
- >Cameo battles with other region's gym leaders
- >Difficulty has overhauled, expect a game designed for people who have put hours into the game already, while still being fair.
- >Tweaked Base Stats, abilities, etc. Shitmons are now if not, good, interesting to use. Some pokemon are now counterparts. Here's an example.
- >New Fishing rod system, 3 unique rods instead of each being an upgrade over the last
- >Several new move tutors
- >New item based NPCs, shards, tiny mushrooms, etc have uses now
- Golisopod Masquerain (evolves from Surskit at level 30 instead of 22)
