background:
   - ever since she was at very young age, Nayeon found adoration in music. something about the different sequences of tones made her heart react in different ways and she couldn't help herself but fall in love with how it felt to listen to music.
   - her first five years of life, she and her family lived in Incheon but because her father's company grew bigger and bigger, they decided to move to the capital city and expand their business with modern furniture.
   - Nayeon's father was always caught up in work ever since and her mother was busy with spending time with her new found friends, who in Nayeon's eyes were always too childish for their age as they tried to stay forever young, dragging her mother into that mess as well.
   - being the only child and not receiving any attention from her parents made her who she is today. she never shared her thoughts and concerns, nor was she used to talking about her dreams.
   - the only person she trusted with this was her grandmother who she visited every weekend and holidays. unfortunately the woman, who loved her granddaughter as if she was her own child, passed away due to lung cancer when the girl was 15 years old.
   - this was haunting Nayeon for years until she was able to accept the truth. however, deep down she still blames herself for her death. she always thought it was her fault because she was too self-centered, only talking about her problems whenever she was with her granny, and never paid attention to her or helped her with housekeeping enough.
   - ever since then she sacrificed her free time to music and dancing more, because her grandmother was the person who lead her to it once she sensed her talent.
   - in school she was always the strange and quiet girl who had only one or two good friends, but no one really paid any attention to her. she on the other hand learned how to watch and listen to people to get then knkw without talking to them at all.

personality:
   - Nayeon is quiet but attentive and observant; even though she doesn't like talking to people and sharing her thoughts, she silently pays attention to others. she doesn't like to show it but once she gets to spend more time with someone and gets to know them more, she starts caring about them and shows it through simple and small appreciative actions. she easily notices when someone doesn't feel well or when something bothers them.
   - she's secretly a dreamer; like many other people, she has her dreams. she likes to watch the stars and think about other galacies and existences. however, she usually comes back to reality real quick and shakes her head at herself, calling herself pathetic. she is often worried about what would people think about her if they found out that she has sometimes even ridiculous dreams as well.
   - she gets easily annoyed; probably partly because of her mother she really dislikes when someone's acting childlish. she likes her peace and when it's disturbed by someone loud she can get really snappy. when she is around someone who is acting silly, she rolls her eyes and turns her back to them, probably rudely telling them to shut up. but even Nayeon sometimes cracks a grin or two because she is not a complete ice queen after all.
   - she can be lazy; even though she loves singing and dancing, sometimes there are days when she would just lay in her bed and cover herself with blankets. the others have to literally drag her out of the bed to the practice room and even then she ends up taking her pillow with her.
   - creativity is one of her bigger qualities; she loves creating new choreographies and songwriting. her fantasy has almost no limits, but the only issue is that she's always worried about showing her work to other people. usually when someone sees that, she just shrugs het shoulders and brushes it off saying that it's nothing.
   - she has a blank expression a lot; being or at least pretending to be uninterested is something she can do really well. if you try to get her attention with something that she isn't really fond of,  she will stare at yoh with that look that will make you stop immediately. the look she gives anytime she's done with someone or something.

how do they feel about their mentor: at first she doesn't like him that much because his personality is a little different from hers. she's uncomfortable with his constant cheerfulness and active side and often gets annoyed when he wants something from her, most of the time catching herself wanting to tell him to fuck off. however she finds out that it's not bad to have someone kind and someone who sees through her facade.

how do they act around them: she's not any different from when she's around others. the only difference is that after some time she allows herself to talk to him more than she usually would.
