ZSR SS - Any% RTA (NTSC-U 1.0) OUTDATED Page (documentation)

**This is the fastest route for Any% on the NTSC-U 1.0 version of the game. This version has an exclusive glitch inside the Ancient Cistern which allows this route. While this route saves 3-4 minutes over the Japanese route, the text differences make Japanese still the fastest version.**

Runs should start with a blank Hero Mode file in slot 1, and New Adventure files in slots 2 and 3.

The route splits slightly in Skyloft, depending on whether you want to do the [Wing Ceremony cutscene skip](https://www.zeldaspeedruns.com/ss/area/skyloft#skip-the-wing-ceremony-cutscene) or not (safe route).

_Note: Bomb Bag Skip is rather difficult and saves about 40s as seen by the timings below. For a beginner it might be easier to obtain the bomb bag in the Earth Temple._
