Maheim Archangel

 Kanamae was raised on a farm in the Mydrom Kingdom since he was but a babe. His father, mother, and older sister were the only other people that he had contact with for the longest time. One day, his father had an idea that would change Kanamae forever. You see, his father was a mage that was obsessed with finding ways to enchant items to have special properties. This included, but was not limited to, weapons for the military. One such weapon that he had designed himself was the pair of metal wings. Who wouldn't want a set of wings that you could use to fly, defend, and attack with? They seemed like the ultimate weapon, but the military refused after he said they would be permanent attachments. Driven to madness over the rejection of his greatest idea, he decided to pick his own test subject. His son, Kanamae. The process was very painful and took many hours, but alas, it succeeded. Kanamae was now a freak created from his father's mind. Upon word of what the father had done, a group of terrorists decided to try to take it for themselves. Sadly, the father was too mad still to cooperate. His madness cost him his life, along with his wife's and daughter's. Kanamae was forced to go with them and undergo many long, painful experiments. All the way until he had embraced the wings for the first time. using his wings as weapons, he fought his way away from the group, even as just a child, and to his freedom. Now he travels the world, not wanting any more chains to bind him down to one place.
