Axel Bio 2

	Founded in Alola and expanding across several regions, Aether Foundation is a haven for pokemon and people alike. Even after an incident involving the president, her son has taken over. For some, it’s a place where they can take care of pokemon that need help. For others, it’s a place where they can do research on the mysteries of the world. Easily identifiable by their uniforms, old people think they’re good people doing a good thing, while many younger people wonder if it’s a cult.

	Meet Axel, a young adult who loves bird pokemon. He has travelled the world finding as many different species of birds as he can. When it comes to bird pokemon, Axel will do anything he can, going so far as to break into Area Zero after learning of the existence of a robotic Delibird. He joined the Foundation’s Kantonian branch in order to help bird pokemon and to repay his debt after receiving a Rowlet and Torchic from the them in the past. Despite his desires, he was placed on the Ultra Beast Containment team instead. When not on his duties, he’s dedicated to the study of the legendary bird pokemon. He wants to one day learn the lives those legendary beings have through his own observations.

	Aside from his love of bird pokemon, Axel is a rather enigmatic person in the eyes of his coworkers. Quiet, most doesn’t interact with people outside of a professional context during work hours. Introverted, preferring to do his work by himself unless he absolutely needs assistance. And yet competitive, often playing cards or chess during break time.

	Aside from Decidueye and Blaziken, Axel’s team consists of a Staraptor he raised from an egg.  A Corviknight he caught in Paldea after rescuing it from a horde of Tinkatons. An Espathra he caught in Paldea. And a strange robotic Delibird he caught after trespassing in Area Zero.
