  46. The three best stories:
  47.
  48. When asked who the best pitcher he ever saw was, Nolan Ryan said Hideki Irabu.
  49.
  50. Jeriome Robertson competed for the last spot on the 2003 Houston Astros rotation and earned it by having a hell of a spring training. He went 15-9 that year and came 7th in R.O.Y. voting. The next year he was all set to be at the 4th or 5th spot in the rotation, but then the Astros signed aging vets Andy Pettite and Roger Clemens. Robertson never played another MLB game and died 7 years later in a car accident.
  51.
  52.
  53. On June 11, 2002, Darryl Kile said, "I think that one of the coolest things my dad and I had was, we were friends. He was always showing me different things and I'd ask him questions, and if he didn't know the answer we'd go work it out together, we'd go look it up. That meant a lot to me. So hopefully as my children grow up, I'll be able to help them learn things more than tell them what to do." Darryl Kile died on June 22, 2002.
