  1. Alex's list:
  2. Kid Hero: Yeah, well, this applies to most of the characters here. Even the canon ones. Big deal.
  3.
  4. Anime Hair: "I didn't order the spiky hair! Really!"
  5.
  6. Our Hero Is Dead: I guess there are no excuses for this one, really.
  7.
  8. Clothes Make The Superman: Different examples there, but the same concept.
  9.
  10. Wise Beyond Their Years: Or, at least, I'd like to think so.
  11.
  12. Friendly Fireproof: Though not in the Jakverse's stuff. No sir. That's gonna be an interesting one.
  13.
  14. Everything Fades: A trope, yes, but let's remember what we're piggybacking here.
  15.
  16. =====
  17.
  18. Audrey:
  19.
  20. Determinator
  21. Action Girl - She's stubborn as hell, and she'll kick your ass. Also counts as a Hot Chick With a Sword
  22. Chaotic Good
  23. Genre Savvy - She enforces this when in plots, particularly when bad stuff happens and they have to go to a different world to resolve it.
  24. Red Baron - Was the Wild Wind at first. Now she's the Dream Mage.
  25. Nice Beret
  26. Pink Is For Girls - Mostly red, but still qualifies. Also subverted with her male counterpart.
  27. Brown Eyes - Very dark brown eyes at that.
  28. Brainy Brunette - Well, she's a brunette, and a genius, but she rarely brings it up, so this isn't played straight. May be a case of Ditzy Genius, though again, not played straight.
  29. Asperger's Syndrome - She's been diagnosed with this.
  30. She Cleans Up Nicely - When she dresses up on a special occasion (as of now in An Evening of Their Own), she dresses up very well.
  31. Shrinking Violet - How she started out, before she Took a Level in Badass.
  32. Extreme Doormat - Once again, how she started out.
  33. Brother Sister Team - With Stephan, after some time.
  34. Violently Protective Girlfriend - At times, she can be this towards Sorin.
  35. Embarrassing Middle Name - This is how she feels about it, anyway.
  36. Future Badass - Marianna
  37. Body Horror - Again with Marianna; her arm was like Pyramid Head's arm.
  38. Fighting Your Friends and Boyfriend - During the soul bind.
  39. Talking To Themself - Actually had more minds than space in her head.
  40. Berserk Button - God help you if you insult her in any way, threaten her friends or Sorin, or attack her directly. If that happens...
  41. Ax Crazy - Piss her off too much, and she'll become this. So whatever you do, don't push her buttons.
  42. Dandere - Though she's more talkative and lively nowadays, she's still quiet for the most part. Her dere side opens up around Sorin, her close friends, and dogs. Especially dogs.
  43. Cloud Cuckoolander - This isn't exactly played straight, since while Audrey does have a wild imagination, she keeps out in important situations. Her evil self plays this more straight, though.
  44. Adorkable - When she's not trying to save the worlds or protecting herself against bad guys, she's pretty geeky and awkward. It adds to her charm.
  45. Break the Cutie - Broken plenty of times, even before she became an Interference.
  46. Made A Slave - Soul bound.
  47. Friend To Animals - Especially with canines.
  48. Cuteness Proximity (with dogs and puppies) - As said in Kuudere, she has a very strong love for canines.
  49. Team Pet - Bonfire Mutt, the Heartless Arcanine, counts as this to her.
  50. Blow You Away - Her old powers consist of this.
  51. Combat Medic and Magic Knight - More the former, but she counts as both now.
  52. Talking In Your Dreams - What her new powers will soon double as.
  53. Precision Guided Boomerang - Her old weapon was a bladed boomerang.
  54. Guns Akimbo - She used to wield Devil May Cry handguns.
  55. Cool Sword - The Destiny Sword (now called Inari), infused with Akyra.
  56. Empathic Weapon - Inari has become such.
  57. Super Mode - Dreamer Form.
  58. Official Couple - With Sorin.
  59. Battle Couple - Again, with Sorin
  60. Heterosexual Life Partners - Used to be this with Heather.
  61. Our Heroine Is Dead - Happened twice now.
  62. My God What Have I Done - Her reaction to going on a murdering rampage in Traverse Town due to Dani.
  63. Impaled With Extreme Prejudice - By Ares in God of War once for one case of Our Heroine Is Dead.
  64. The Woobie - Let's see...she was constantly bullied and harrassed in school, and had a bad connection with her brother, who beat her up before running away from home. Becoming an Interference, she died and came back, was nearly killed again right after, almost lost Sorin on a few occasions, was made a slave against her will, was forced to fight her brother when he became an Interference, went insane and fought her friends and boyfriend a few times, was nearly killed by manifestations of her self-doubt and low-esteem, lost a few more close friends of hers. Oh, and her brother's ex-counterpart is out for her blood.
  65.
  66. =====
  67.
  68. Kalas:
  69.
  70. Again, for most tropes related to him, look in the character page.
  71.
  72. Jerkass With A Heart Of Gold - He ranges between the two.
  73. Anti Hero - Type 2.
  74. Chaotic Good - ...unless he's the Angel of Darkness, to which he's Chaotic Evil
  75. Deadpan Snarker - He has his moments.
  76. Dark Is Not Evil - Though he mostly mixes around elements, he relies on dark and wind mostly, while acting as a standard JRPG hero. Subverted with the Angel of Darkness, who IS evil.
  77. Ravens and Crows - Kalas' name comes from the Japanese word karasu, meaning "crow" or "raven" alternately. Might be a Meaningful Name, too.
  78. Break The Haughty - He's about to go through this. Poor guy is already going through this. He's getting better now, though.
  79. Ax Crazy Blood Knight - Becomes these once the Angel of Darkness takes over.
  80. Distressed Dude - Added to his breakage, he's become a target for this. Though this won't last long. May probably count as Badass In Distress.
  81. Badass Decay - This is lampshaded by Audrey, noting how much the Interference reset brought him down. Once again, he's getting better now.
  82. Canine Companion -- Hellhound - The Mauthe Doog Lucifer, formerly Jackson, from the Fallen Angel plot.
  83. Heroic BSOD - He goes through one after Ignis kisses him. But then he kisses Xelha...
  84. Knight in Sour Armor - Somewhat played out as such. While he's pretty bitter about some things, he still tries to help however he can (a big contrast to how he is for the first half of Baten Kaitos).
  85. Big Brother Instinct - Towards most younger characters. This is mainly due to him having a dead little brother.
  86. Mindlink Mates - He's become this with Xelha, via the tampered Earth Pendant.
  87. Cosmic Plaything - Author plaything; he's become my chewtoy my personal Fetish Fuel Station Attendant.
  88. Baby Got Back - Noted once in canon, and a few times out of canon. My Kalas has a fine ass, apparently.
  89. Berserk Button - You can insult him all you want, but if you start talking bad about his deceased family, threaten to harm his friends (especially Xelha), or even think of damaging his winglet...see Superpowered Evil Side below.
  90. The Magic Comes Back - His single Wing of the Heart came back upon becoming an Interference (after going through an Awakening, of course). Though this also comes with consequences...
  91. Superpowered Evil Side - The White Winged Darkness has become one to him and will come out if his Berserk Button is pressed.
  92. Black Eyes of Crazy and Evil - Black-blue eyes of crazy evil, as the Angel of Darkness.
  93. Large Ham - The Angel of Darkness can be especially over-the-top when he needs to.
  94. Enemy Within - The White-Winged Darkness may be considered such.
  95. Winged Humanoid - Well, half-winged humanoid (unless the White Winged Darkness takes over)
  96. Fight Like A Card Player - Subverted in that his cards are more magical storing devices, but then played straight with some cards he uses in battle. Also played straight with the Death deck.
  97. Dual Wielding - His default weapons are a sword and reverse-blade dagger.
  98. Death Dealer - With his Death deck, making this a literl example.
  99. Artificial Limbs - His winglet is basically wing automail.
  100. Vitriolic Best Buds - He seems to have this going with Tyler, if the IC sessions are anything to go by.
  101. The Woobie -- Jerkass Woobie - YMMV on which one counts. In game, he was considered a flawed creation, bullied because of his one wing, lost his (unbiological) grandfather and little brother, nearly became a Woobie Destroyer of Worlds, and almost lost his love interest (she got better). As an Interference, he's thrown into one bad situation after another, is constantly tormented by his evil persona, is being stalked by an evil ex-counterpart, and is slowly going insane. All the while of just wanting to go back home. As far as the latter goes, the Jerkass part comes with his callous (pun intended) and ruthless behavior.
  102.
  103. =====
  104.
  105. Ignis:
  106.
  107. Memetic Molester
  108. Enemy Within and Enemy Without - He used to be a mental counterpart to Stephan Shepherds, as the Anthropomorphic Personification of his anger and grudge against Audrey.
  109. Affably Evil - Despite being a completely depraved mind and physical rapist, as well as showing no qualms killing others, he's actually very polite and respectable towards those that don't suspect him. But even then...
  110. Card Carrying Villain - He's aware that he's a monster far beyond redemption...and he accepts it without question.
  111. Neutral Evil - With a Chaotic lean.
  112. Meaningful Name - Ignis Fatuus means Fire of Fools.
  113. Bad Powers Bad People - His illusions are made to screw with people's minds.
  114. Your Worst Nightmare - What his illusions mostly consist of.
  115. Playing With Fire - When he's not using illusions, he controls black fire most of the time
  116. Depraved Bisexual - He goes after both genders, be it physically or emotionally.
  117. Stalker With A Crush - Even though he mainly wants to kill them, his attitude towards Stephan and Audrey veers in this direction. He was going to be one to Aani as well, until she died. Now his eyes are on Kalas, in a case of Loving a Shadow.
  118. Foe Yay - With anyone he can get his hands on. Anyone except Audrey Including Audrey.
  119. Squick - Taking a whiff of Kalas' hair...
  120. Scarpia Ultimatum - He tries this against Kalas. It somewhat works, until Xelha intervenes. This was also implied towards Audrey in Countless Echoes.
  121. Loving a Shadow - His reasoning for stalking Kalas? He has some of the same qualities as Koyaanisqasti.
  122. Forceful Kiss - He forced one on Aani before. Then he did on Kalas, and then Xelha.
  123. Oh Crap - When his illusions rebound to him, he has this reaction.
  124. Long Haired Prettyboy and Peek a Bangs - He has long hair that covers half of his face.
  125. Mismatched Eyes - He has one black eye and his glowing red eye. So it's half Black Eyes Of Evil and half Red Eyes Take Warning.
  126. Villainous Cheekbones - According to Umi, Ignis has prominent cheekbones.
  127. Author Appeal and Evil Is Sexy - His appearance is based off what I'm mostly attracted to. As far as the latter goes...seriously, just LOOK at him.
  128. If It's You It's Okay - Inverted with Audrey, as he's the only one allowed to kill her. He'd still try to molest her however; he'd just be giving her the worst end of it.
  129. Manipulative Bastard - He seems to be heading in this direction with Grace.
  130. For the Evulz - While there's a reason why he wants to kill Audrey, he has absolutely no justification for what he does along the way besides this.
  131. Dirty Coward - Always retreating from a battle at the last second...
  132. Lets You And Him Fight - He's a fan of this, as it gives him a chance to escape.
  133. Attempted Rape and Mind Rape
  134. Complete Monster
  135. Rape Is A Special Kind Of Evil - This counts as part of his complete monsterdom. Again, both in the physical and the mental sense.
  136.
  137. For both Audrey and Ignis: Arch Enemy
  138.
  139. =====
  140.
  141. Now then, here's for Reaper, first of all. Might as well get these all out.
  142.
  143.
  144. A God Am I: Dips into this when he starts to drain the Blade Of Olympus. Granted, if he absorbed all of the power, he would have been entirely justified. He gets over it quickly.
  145. Abusive Father: To his son and daughter, Letum and Nyx, in the Apocalypse. Diana isn't much better. At all.
  146. Achilles Heel: Light, though it isn't actually utilized very much in the final battle.
  147. And Show It To You: To Sora.
  148. And Your Girlfriend Too: Makes these kinds of taunts to Kaith and also directly to the subject Demi during the brothers' duel and their time in Bargate Prison respectively. Considering he does actually corrupt her and follow through at least once, they weren't empty threats.
  149. Asskicking Equals Authority: He managed to kill Alucard and several others, and is the Big Bad.
  150. Arch Enemy: To Kaith, mostly.
  151. Armies Are Evil: Omega's army with him as its de facto leader.
  152. Ax Crazy: Was much more so in the past before his death. Snapped again when everything started to fall apart in the Battle of the World That Never Was.
  153. Back From The Dead: The resurrection by Phantom and the Darkness was only his latest return.
  154. Bad Boss: His method of dealing with Elena's "failure" with the Geth did not get him any fans.
  155. Beat Still My Heart: When he extracts the heart of a still-living victim, as with at least Sora and Darucard (F. Derest).
  156. Big Bad: Of The War of Heaven and Hell.
  157. Bio Augmentation: Plasmids, from Rapture.
  158. Black Cloak: Combined with In The Hood for the majority of his run in the present timeline.
  159. Cain and Abel: Cain to Kaith's Abel. Might have actually succeeded in the end for a short time.
  160. Card Carrying Villain
  161. Casting a Shadow: His primary attacks are from the Darkness.
  162. Charm Person: Turncoat, a Will spell to change a person's alliance to Reaper's for twenty minutes. It doesn't work on those who are protected against status-changing spells.
  163. Clipped Wing Demon: Letting out his Superpowered Evil-er Side doesn't help him much in the final battle.
  164. Combat By Champion: How he kills Sora.
  165. Combat Tentacles: Sometimes overlapping with Multi Armed And Dangerous
  166. Combo Platter Powers: Has Plasmids, Fable Will magic, the Darkness, his own skills, and soul-binding. All but soul-binding have multiple facets.
  167. Complete Monster: While he does develop some kind of standards aside from some pragmatism after the War if he won, it's not enough to get out of this territory, as he did cross many a Moral Event Horizon.
  168. Cool Sword: Or rather Creepy Sword: The Blood Sword, which leeches power from whom it hurts as well as harming them.
  169. Corrupt The Cutie: Jessica, definitely. Kynthia/Artemis and Demi/Diana might count, if you stretch the definition of "the Cutie" far enough.
  170. The Corrupter: To Jessica, Elena, and Demi/Diana
  171. Creepy Child: If Isaac before his redemption is any indication, he was this when he was younger.
  172. Dangerously Genre Savvy: At times, especially during his Moral Event Horizon crossing. Others, not so much.
  173. Dark Is Evil
  174. Dark World: Valhalla, a world he created for his coming empire at the edge of the Dark Meridian.
  175. Deal With The Devil: Two of them. First with Zeik, giving him his new eye and heart-reading ability, then with the Darkness, gaining access to its power.
  176. Defeating The Undefeatable: Killed Alucard in his timeline, without the latter having absorbed Schrodinger.
  177. Depower: Has all of his power drained into the Blade of Olympus in the final battle.
  178. Double Weapon: His double saber, a double-sided sword, is his signature weapon.
  179. Drop The Hammer: A Gravity Hammer, which he uses at one point.
  180. Dual Wielding: Sextuple wielding during his final battle, if one doesn't count just using his tentacles normally.
  181. The Empreror: In the Nidhogg timeline, as the Evil Overlord version.
  182. Energy Absorption: Only magical energy, though, and he needs to concentrate to do so. He cannot absorb alchemy or Plasmids, as they are science rather than magic. It's a Zivaku skill from the father, Sain.
  183. Evil Laugh: Twice. Once when he gains the last Darkness power, which overlapped with Laughing Mad, and the other time when he started taking power from the Blade of Olympus.
  184. Future Me Scares Me: Knowing what Reaper ends up doing is what is the catalyst for Isaac's redemption. Ties into Evil Me Scares Me.
  185. Eyes Do Not Belong There: Used to have no eyes due to them being gouged out by a wolf in his backstory as Isaac. His deal with Zeik gave him a red eye on his forehead with a glowing black aura around it, an eye on his energy-draining Blood Sword, and an eye on his signature double saber, allowing for him to see in three directions at once.
  186. Familiar: His Darkness serpents could count as this, as they seem to have minds of their own.
  187. Faux Affably Evil: Unless he's really pissed off.
  188. Fire Ice Lightning: His most frequently used Plasmids, Incinerate!, Winter Blast, and ElectroBolt respectively.
  189. Flash Step: Used to have this, as shown by his fight with Darucard, but apparently lost it in the resurrection process or earlier.
  190. Future Badass
  191. Galactic Conqueror: Seemed to be his goal. And he couldn't stop. Might delve into Multiversal Conqueror, with how the Interference universes work.
  192. God Emperor: Thanks to his actual title and the Religion of Evil.
  193. Gone Horribly Right: In the end, he wanted power. He didn't think about how those powers would react with each other.
  194. The Gunslinger: When he uses guns, which he has several of. He takes the Vaporizer route.
  195. Hammerspace Arsenal: Where does he carry all of these weapons?
  196. Hand Cannon: The thunder....erm....hand cannon of the Darkness Guns.
  197. Healing Factor: Thanks to the Darkness, it is basically impossible to really kill him, since the Darkness will just revive him if he does happen to die. This must be worked around before he can be killed.
  198. Hero Killer: Personally murders Sora, and lead Hawk into a trap to be killed.
  199. Heterosexual Life Partners: With Phantom.
  200. Humanoid Abomination: With his demon-hood and the Darkness, calling him human is a stretch.
  201. I'm A Humanitarian: Eats hearts through the serpents on his back as well as his mouth for his Cannibalism Superpower.
  202. Impaled With Extreme Prejudice: His favored method of killing, and the way he ended up being killed (albeit more than once).
  203. Implacable Man: At first, until his Healing Factor is worked around.
  204. In The Blood: His Energy Absorption is a skill that all Zivaku men seen thus far have. His Determinator status is a family trait that he has inherited as well, to the heroes' dismay.
  205. Instant Armor: Forms this from what is implied to be the Darkness for his part in the Battle of the World That Never Was in favor of his usual Black Cloak.
  206. Just Between You And Me: Inverted. Kaith tells him, at death's door, that he has no plan.
  207. Karmic Death: Killed by the very people he antagonized and not aided by those on his own side due to not returning the favor in turn. He very much deserved it.
  208. Kick Her While She's Down: To Elena once.
  209. Kick The Son Of A Bitch: No matter how hard he was beaten in the final battle, people didn't really complain. Even during a No Holds Barred Beatdown.
  210. Kill the Cutie: To Sora!
  211. Laser Blade: Uses an Energy Sword from Halo at one point.
  212. Lawful Evil
  213. The Legions of Hell: Or rather the Darkness I Otherworld. He tries to get these in the last fight, and did manage it most of the time. It doesn't work out in the long run thanks to Derest.
  214. Lightning Gun: The lightning gatling gun of the Darkness Guns.
  215. Lima Syndrome: Is implied to have gone through this by the time we catch up with the Apocalypse with Diana, meaning that he possibly did love her at the time of their Unholy Matrimony.
  216. Luke And Leia, I Might Be Your Father: Is implied to possibly be the father of Demi/Diana's twins who she is pregnant with for the entirety of the War.
  217. Malevolent Masked Man: Until he takes off the White Mask of Doom in the assault on Traverse Town.
  218. Made A Slave: Soul-Binding. He has at least three victims known, and almost did the same to Ephiram.
  219. Manipulative Bastard: Especially toward Demi/Diana.
  220. More Dakka: The lightning machine gun. See Lightning Gun.
  221. Multi Shot: His Multi-Arrow spell with Skorm's Bow.
  222. No Cure For Evil: He works to avert this, but requires potions and others with magic to heal others, unable to use his Healing Factor on them.
  223. Not So Invincible After All: When he is run through by the Blade of Olympus. Repeatedly.
  224. Obviously Evil: Most people can tell his alliances just by looking at him. The only one who couldn't do so immediately was an amnesiac, so would not know anyway.
  225. Oh Crap: Suddenly stops laughing in the end when he realized that something is horribly wrong.
  226. Our Demons Are Different
  227. People Puppets: How he can use soul-binding to control people. His commands have to be followed for physical actions.
  228. Psychic Link: With Phantom.
  229. Red Eyes Take Warning: His corrupted followers have them as well.
  230. Religion of Evil: In the Apocalyptic timeline where he is a god and his wife Diana a goddess in the eyes of his followers.
  231. Ret Gone: His ultimate fate due to the Sands of Time. Only the Interferences from the War and other Futures even know about him.
  232. Reptiles Are Abhorrent: Has a strong snake motif about him due to his alliance with the Darkness and his fangs. Fridge Brilliance kicks in when one realizes that he had to turn his follower Interferences, a Rabbit motif (Demi/Diana), and two Cat (Tiger) motifs (Elena and Jessica) closer to his own animal of the Eastern Zodiac to make them follow him, the former much more closely (If You Know What I Mean) than the latter.
  233. Revenge Before Reason: Even after gaining all of his power, he still goes after Kaith to kill him rather than just attack all of the stronger heroes instead.
  234. Scars Are Forever: His blue, glowing Will scars on his face, and presumably the rest of his body. While they do stop glowing and fade to red when he loses Will powers, they don't go away.
  235. See You In Hell: His last words to Ephiram. He gets a blunt Pre Mortem One Liner in return.
  236. Shut Up Kirk: His response to the inversion of Just Between You And Me.
  237. Smug Snake: Doesn't seem to think highly of his lieutenants or Elena. This has nothing to do with the snakes on his back. Move along.
  238. Sssssnake Talk: When he allows the Darkness to have more power over his actions. Justified in that the Darkness usually manifests as a pair of snakes for him.
  239. Straight Arrow: Skorm's Bow of Albion
  240. Stronger Sibling: To Kaith.
  241. Stupid Evil: Killed his dad for being a decent father to his older brother. He got more intelligent, though.
  242. Superpowered Evil Side: The Darkness is worse than he is.
  243. Super Strength: Has some shades of this.
  244. Superpower Meltdown: See Gone Horribly Right.
  245. Talking To Themself: The Darkness and the Duel Spirit Zeik.
  246. Telepathy: Heart-reading in a nutshell. He can read the memories, moods, and innermost desires of any who he scans, provided they have a heart to read. This means that it does not work on Nobodies.
  247. This Is Gonna Suck: Is more or less calm in speaking to his killer when he knows he is going to die.
  248. Those Two Bad Guys: Formerly, with Phantom, before his death in the Dark Future timeline.
  249. Thwarted Coup De Grace: About to stab Kaith in a killing blow, he is impaled by the Blade of Olympus.
  250. Too Powerful To Live
  251. Unholy Matrimony: With Diana by the time of the Apocalypse.
  252. Unto Us A Son And Daughter Are Born: Letum and Nyx Zivaku, respectively.
  253. Villain Ball: Holding on pretty tightly at times.
  254. Villainous Breakdown: Goes through one as things start to fall apart completely in his army and his headquarters, and loses his smug nature as a result, resorting to rage instead and grabbing the Villain Ball.
  255. Villainous Teleportation: Can teleport across a world or to another world without a portal, or use a Corridor of Darkness or Gateway to the Darkness to move the same distance, the former requiring more concentration but allowing no others except those in physical contact with him to follow.
  256. We Have Reserves: Has a plan to kill almost his entire army to kill the heroes.
  257. Why Don't Ya Just Shoot Him?: Subverted in the "fight" with Sora, but not so much in the one with Kaith. Justified in that he has nobody to call him out (everyone else is busy), and that he is Ax Crazy at the time.
  258. Would Hit A Girl: Elena, specifically. He shoots her, then kicks her in the jaw when she falls to her knees.
  259. You Have Failed Me: Subverted with Elena, though he does hurt her. Also completely unjustified, as the necessary information was in a game that didn't exist at the time.
  260. Your Eyes Can Deceive You: A master at this, having had extensive experience fighting without eyes.
  261.
  262. ======
  263.
  264. And now, Samuel Dolor. Most probably don't know him, but it's best to just get him out of the way.
  265.
  266. Anti Hero: Was developing into this before his death. Hard to tell what type.
  267. Barrier Warrior: His "shield" power from the glaive, which came around him pretty closely.
  268. Body Horror: His Technocyte-infected arm.
  269. Chaotic Neutral: At first. Might have been on his way to Neutral Good.
  270. Feel No Pain: Rather annoyingly, had congenital analgia, a real-life disorder.
  271. Future Badass: Extremely subjective. He went absolutely insane by the end, is only slightly more successful at getting girls, and is still a jerkass to the guys. However, he's improved with his weapons, and is a fairly successful mercenary where he comes from.
  272. Future Me Scares Me: Is very clear about not caring at all about the implications of killing his future, Dolor the Mercenary, when he does so for his involvement in releasing the Technocyte virus to the worlds.
  273. Groin Attack: Killed this way. Nobody really attempted it on him except that one murder, surprisingly enough.
  274. Handsome Lech: Flirted with any and all women he came in contact with.
  275. Hired Guns: His future was one of these.
  276. Instant Sedation: Usually averted with his Stun Gun.
  277. Invisibility: One of the powers gleaned from the glaive.
  278. Jerkass: While he flirted with the girls, he was this to the guys.
  279. Precision Guided Boomerang: The glaive, a weapon from Dark Sector. No matter how he threw it, it always came back to his hand, whether he was looking or not.
  280. Somebody Else's Problem: Has a long list of things like this, mostly for males.
  281. The Scrappy: Nobody liked him, in universe or out, myself included.
  282. Stun Guns: The psychosis gun of Perfect Dark Zero became this for him. Not the best thing for a pervert to have.
  283. Time Master: Had the Amulet of Time of another timeline (the Dark Future one) melted into his chest, so he had this as his primary power. Also acquired a Sweeper in the Blinx-verse.
  284. Weapons That Suck: The Time Sweeper that he acquired in "Time Warp."
  285. Whip Sword: The daggertail, a copy of Mahasti and the Dark Prince's weapon in Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones. His primary weapon.
  286. With Great Power Comes Great Insanity: Died before it could get too far though.
  287.
  288. =====
  289.
  290. Private James Anchors
  291.
  292. Badass Family: Is a member of one, though he's not the one perpetuating the family line. The Anchors family has been around in Strider's "Dark Future", my Halo 2 thread "To Kill A Scarab", and now here, twenty years back. All in the Marines.
  293. Brainy Brunette
  294. Deadpan Snarker: On occasion.
  295. The Big Guy
  296. The Engineer
  297. Genius Bruiser: Is The Smart Guy and The Big Guy.
  298. Hazel Eyes
  299. Heterosexual Life Partners: Thinks he's good friends with his CO when the guy is willing to talk to him.
  300. Nice Guy
  301. The Smart Guy
  302. You Wouldn't Shoot Me: Subverted. He is perfectly willing to shoot Chambers, but decides to just hand him over to his bosses instead.
  303.
  304. -----
  305.
  306. Private Tyler Vesely
  307.

  311. Deadpan Snarker: More so than James.
  312. Green Eyes
  313. Jerkass
  314. Sarcastic Devotee
  315. Shipper On Deck: For GregAzumi. Neither of them is amused.
  316.
  317. -----
  318.
  319. And, for someone not in the squad, Private Jack Chambers.
  320.
  321. Fantastic Racist: Calls Jasmine a "freak" for her appearance.
  322. The Scrappy: His entire purpose.
  323. Squick: Has his leg broken by stomping on it so that it snaps the wrong way.
  324. Take That Scrappy coupled with Kick The Son Of A Bitch: How James, and later Greg dealt with him.
  325. Trigger Happy
  326.
  327. ====
  328.
  329. Cheryl "Heather" Mason.
  330.
  331. Action Girl - She definitely qualifies.
  332. Deadpan Snarker - This is how she dealt with some of the crazy before.
  333. Anti Hero - Type 2
  334. Chaotic Good
  335. Tsundere - A very subtle type A, with tiny bits of Kuudere mixed in. She at least knows how to keep her anger in check.
  336. Surrounded By Idiots - Seems to think this, as a heroic example. To be fair, she usually is.
  337. Only Sane Woman - Pretty ironic considering, but still: "Is every person here a mental case?"
  338. Brainy Brunette - So much that she's got an uncommon ability called Common Sense.
  339. Talking To Themself - Going to be doing this with Valtiel, who will be The Unintelligible to all but her.
  340. Red Baron - Holy Mother. Not like she likes the name.
  341. My Name Is Not Alessa
  342. Nay Theist - She at least believes there's some sort of deity or two in the multiverse.
  343. What Do They Fear Episode - Her entire plot, Fear Itself, was this.
  344. Heterosexual Life Partners - With Audrey.
  345. Awesomeness By Analysis - She survived her entire game without any training whatsoever. Granted, most Interferences do the same thing, but hers was canon.
  346. Badass Normal/Abnormal - She's one of the few Canon Interferences that has the least amount of powers, yet still manages to hold her own. On the other hand, there's the nightmarish Otherworld coming from her mind that can break out if she wanted it to...
  347. Blessed With Suck - The ability to control the Otherworld is this to her.
  348. Split Personality Takeover - Alessa.
  349. Demonic Possession - By Alessa, leading to the destruction of Silent Hill. It's kind of bizarre when you possess yourself.
  350. Dye or Die - Why she was bottle blonde to begin with.
  351. Impaled With Extreme Prejudice - How she died the first time. And the third.
  352. Lets You And Him Fight - She was supposed to have an accidental fight with Douglas Cartland that was supposed to be this.
  353. My God What Have I Done - What her reaction would've been to the above.
  354. The Gunslinger - Used mostly guns, other than some of the melee weapons she had.
  355. Katanas Are Just Better - Reason why she got one.
  356. Playing With Fire - She used to have Divine Flame when in the world of Jade Empire, but she rarely used it.
  357. Our Heroine Is Dead - Three times, the first time during her visit to Jade Empire, the second at the end of her (unfinished) plot, Fear Itself, and the third in God of War.
  358. Driven To Suicide - How she died a second time.
  359. Opt Out - Temporarily. Like I said, she'll be reapplied soon.
  360. I Choose To Stay Adding to Opt Out, though she's given up Interfering, she's grown close to the Kingdom Hearts worlds to settle in one of them.
  361. What The Hell, Heroine?! - Received this in her return topic, what with her attitude on life as an Interference.
  362. The Woobie - Living in hiding, being subjected to a nightmarish world unexpectedly, fighting her way back home only to find her father dead, discovered that she's a reincarnation of a Woobie Destroyer of Worlds as well as being pregnant with a monster. Interfering, she died, lost some friends, had her world destroyed, suddenly released the nightmare world on the worlds, shot herself in the head to end it all, and decided to give it all up after being revived. And now she knows she can't live a normal life thanks to the nightmare world STILL living in her head. Poor girl really needs a hug.
  363.
  364. =====
  365.
  366. Lukgar Revak
  367.
  368. A Form You Are Comfortable With: It's unclear what "he" really looks like. Takes the form of any with a Cruxis crystal instead. Tends to take Greg's form.
  369. Achilles Heel: Can be hurt a lot if his Cruxis crystal home is damaged.
  370. And I Must Scream: Locked in Greg's Cruxis crystal until his death.
  371. Anthropomorphic Personification: Of Cruxis power.
  372. Cluster F Bomb: Uses these a lot.

  375. Eyes Of Gold: Every form shown thus far has them.
  376. Good Is Not Nice
  377. Jerkass
  378. Killed Off For Real: By the Fanatic Heartless in a Heroic Sacrifice.
  379. Light Em Up: The vast majority of his powers.
  380. Light Is Not Good: Sometimes.
  381. No Gender: Implied.
  382. Our Angels Are Different
  383. Really Over 700 Years Old: Over 4000.
  384. Red Right Hand: See Eyes Of Gold.
  385. The Reason You Suck Speech: A rather vicious one to Greg.
  386. Talking To Themself: With Greg, and technically Kratos Aurion and Yuan Ka-Fei and the other remaining angels.
  387. Token Evil Teammate
  388. Voluntary Shapeshifting: With a different weapon and powers in each form.
  389. Who Wants to Live Forever?: Shades of this in his conversation with Akyra at the end of Revenge of Cruxis.
  390. With Friends Like These: To most people, especially Greg.
  391.
  392. =====
  393.
  394. And here, we've got Dani:
  395.
  396. The Vamp
  397. Stalker With A Crush - Towards Sorin.
  398. Blue Oni - To Akyra's Red Oni
  399. The Corrupter - Or at least agrees with the original Corrupter (Kaztos).
  400. Expy - Used to be one of Daniella from Haunting Ground, leading to her name. Now she's one of...Lady GaGa.
  401. Woman in Black - Not exactly played straight, but it sorta qualifies (even though it's dark blue).
  402. Eerie Pale Skinned Platinum Haired Pretty Girl
  403. Glowing Eyes of Doom and Hypnotic Eyes
  404. Bad Powers Bad People
  405. Cool Shades/Sunglasses at Night
  406. Smoking is Glamorous - She seems to think so. Also a case of Evil Smoking.
  407. Murder the Hypotenuse - Her new goal against Audrey.
  408. Beauty is Bad - There's no image of her yet, but the intent is there.
  409. Affably Evil
  410. Villain Team Up - With Ignis.
  411. Neutral Evil
  412. Villainous Incest - Sort of with Ignis, as they were counterparts to siblings Audrey and Stephan.
  413. Smug Snake - At least towards Rikka.
  414. The Stoic - Until her fight against Hitokiri Sorin, thus turning out to be not so stoic
  415. Enemy Within
  416. Anthropomorphic Personification - Of Audrey's love, as well as her self-control.
  417. Real Women Wear Dresses
  418. Eldritch Abomination - Her boss form against Sorin in "Yesterday".
  419. HSQ - Reaction to her form above, at least for some.
  420. Demonic Possession - Of Audrey a few times.
  421. Dark Is Evil
  422. Talking To Themself
  423. Creepy Monotone - Unless she's being the Vamp.
  424. Back from the Dead - Didn't expect her to be gone for long, did ya?
  425.
  426. =====
  427.
  428. And now Stephan:
  429.
  430. Jerkass --> Character Development --> Jerk with a Heart of Gold
  431. Chaotic Neutral
  432. Aloof Older Brother - At the start. Somewhat subverted in that as an Interference, he wasn't better than his sister Audrey.
  433. Enemy Within and Enemy Without - See Ignis
  434. Elemental Powers - Including Blow You Away, Playing With Fire, Making A Splash, and Dishing Out Dirt
  435. But Now I Must Go
  436. Take Up My Shineball - To Audrey.
  437. Distressed Dude
  438. Foe Yay - With Ignis
  439. The Unfavorite - Or at least he thought he was, at first.
  440. Sibling Rivalry - At first.
  441. Cain and Abel - Somewhat at first, but not quite.
  442. Relationship Writing Fumble - YMMV on this, but looking back at old threads, the interactions between him and Audrey almost seem...incestuous. (not to mention how his hint at abuse read more like rape)
  443. Superpowered Evil Side - Originally Ignis, until he got his own form.
  444. Eleventh Hour Superpower - His elemental form at the end.
  445. Power at a Price - The above cause his But Now I Must Go.
  446.
  447. =====
  448.
  449. Now for some tropes for Kairi. For other tropes related to her, look here.
  450.
  451. Took a Level in Badass - Now she's as much an Action Girl as anyone else on the forum.
  452. Relationship Upgrade - Double subverted.
  453. Fight Like A Card Player - With her Cards of Oblivion.
  454. Team Pet - Wata the Watapon.
  455. Super Mode - Purity Form.
  456. Brick Joke - Again, Purity Form.
  457. Light The Way
  458. Dual Wielding - In Purity Form only, she can wield both Memorial and Destiny's Embrace.
  459. Unstoppable Rage - In War, which then becomes Tranquil Fury when Riku gets hurt.
  460. Heterosexual Life Partners - Formerly with Kynthia.
  461. Closer To Earth - A well-done example; she was the most sensible of the quartet.
  462. Beware The Nice Ones - Hell yes, as you'll see below...
  463. Berserk Button - Do NOT wound Sora to incapacitation. Or say his death was to help you.
  464. Deadpan Snarker - Moreso Namine than her nowadays, but she has a few moments of this.
  465. Opt Out - Temporarily.
  466. Blackmail - Of her and Sora.
  467. Shut Up Hannibal Gives one to Brier in War.
  468. Official Couple - Take a guess.
  469. Battle Couple - Again, do I really need to say?
  470. Action Girlfriend - Even if she won't admit it.
  471. Her Heart Will Go On - Subverted.
  472. Leave the Two Lovebirds Alone - Both about them, and an unspoken rule for Greg and Kyn unless they have stuff to do. The former being to embarrass them.
  473. No Hugging No Kissing - In public, anyway. Blackmail and all.
  474. He's Not My Boyfriend - Nobody's buying it, though.
  475. Holding Hands - What she and Sora do in public instead, and even then they're embarrassed by it.
  476. Emotionally Tongue Tied - On an I Uh You Too level, much to Namine's annoyance.
  477. You Wouldn't Kill Me - Receives this from Brier in War.
  478. Limit Breaks - Self-explanatory.
  479. Evolving Weapon - Memorial has changed over time.
  480. Take Up My Keyblade - Has now gone through two Keyblade Inheritance Ceremonies in her life.
  481. Cool Key - Memorial, and arguably Destiny's Embrace as well.
  482.
  483. Here's some more tropes for Sorin Mireu.
  484.
  485. Nice Guy - To Audrey, mostly.
  486. Troubled But Cute
  487. Tall, Dark and Snarky - And Tall, Dark, and Handsome, according to Audrey.
  488. Dark Is Not Evil - This and Light Is Good.
  489. Casting A Shadow - Now coupled with Light Em Up.
  490. Yin Yang Bomb - With Earthshine.
  491. Heroes Prefer Swords --> Katanas Are Just Better
  492. Blade Below The Shoulder - His katar.
  493. Samurai - Trained himself to be such.
  494. Sibling Team: When teaming up with his brother or sister.
  495. Superpowered Evil Side - Demin.
  496. Split Personality
  497. Talking to Himself - More this than Themself, what with aforementioned Split Personality.
  498. Split Personality Merge - Inverted, they got torn out instead.
  499. Battle and Official Couple - With Audrey, obviously
  500. Relationship Upgrade - Two of these. Also Truth In Television.
  501. Future Me Scares Me - Ties into Evil Me Scares Me
  502. Ret Gone - Aforementioned future.
  503. Iron Woobie - Let's just say his past before Interfering, what he went through with his two girlfriends, and his badassness make him this by default.
  504. They Do - Not yet, but he's pretty damn close to this with Audrey.
  505.
  506. =====
  507.
  508. Spencer Tropes
  509. Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He’s a genuinely good person; it’s just hard to see it through all the jerkassery.
  510. Knight in Sour Armor: He still believes in doing the right thing, no matter how he acts.
  511. Hidden Heart of Gold: Tell anyone he's actually a good person, and he will hurt you.
  512. Good is not Nice: Type 1.
  513. Troubled But Cute: No one's Moeness could survive Kirkwall.
  514. Jade Colored Glasses: Blame Kirkwall.
  515. Jerkass Woobie
  516. Heroic Self-Deprecation: He honestly believes that, despite his tendency to do the right thing, he's ultimately worthless as a person.
  517. Chronic Hero Syndrome
  518. Deadpan Snarker: Ever so much. To the point of near constant Sarcasm Mode.
  519. Stepford Snarker: Refer back to Jerkass Woobie.
  520. Don’t you Dare Pity Me: He wallows in enough self-pity. He hardly needs yours.
  521. Snark to Snark Combat: When another snarky person is around.
  522. Small Name Big Ego: He acts egotistical, but this just amplifies his lack of self-esteem.
  523. Thou Shalt Not Kill: Despite the gruesome nature of his Blood Magic, killing is something he actively avoids, due to wanting to prove that all magic can be used for good. Of course, this only goes for sentient beings.
  524. The Nicknamer: Most everyone he meets he gives a nickname of some sorts. For example, Naomi is "Spitfire", and Kalas "Blueberry".
  525. Backhanded Apology: He rarely apologizes for anything.
  526. Unsympathetic Comedy Protagonist: In comedy situations, at least.
  527. Expy: Completely unintentional, but his attitude is very similar to Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden, the main character from the Dresden Files.
  528. Only Sane Man: Sometimes thinks he’s this, at least
  529. Magic is Mental: He is actually a lot smarter then he seems; when it comes to magic, at least.
  530. Black Mage: His only healing spells suck the life out of people in turn.
  531. Blood Magic: His most mastered form of magic.
  532. The Power of Blood: Again, Blood Magic.
  533. Cast From Hit Points: How his Blood Magic is activated.
  534. Bloody Murder: His Blood Magic can get very gruesome.
  535. Chain Lightning: The very name of one of his spells.
  536. Fireball: Another one of his spells.
  537. Kill it With Ice: One of his spells, Cone of Cold, is capable of freezing people who get hit by it.
  538. Elemental Armor: His Rock Armor spell is this.
  539. Entropy and Chaos Magic: One of the schools he studied the most.
  540. The Dark Arts: His Blood Magic to those in the Dragon Age universe (most likely elsewhere, too). To be fair, it’s not the nicest looking magic, and most Maleficars in the DA world are evil or possessed by demons.
  541. Bad Powers Good People: Most Blood Mages in the Dragon Age universe are evil.
  542. Glowing Eyes of Doom: One of the indications he has activated Blood Magic
  543. Heroic RROD: Blood Magic can’t be used excessively or he’ll… lose all his blood.
  544. Mana: What fuels his magic, of course; except when using Blood Magic.
  545. Full Contact Magic: Instead of simply pointing with his staff, mages in the Dragon Age universe use gestures in conjunction with their staves. For example, when casting Fireball, it literally looks like he’s throwing a massive ball of flame. And when in close combat, he chooses to attack with the blade of his staff.
  546. Blade on a Stick: His staff has a blade on one end, typical of Dragon Age II staves.
  547. A Wizard Did It: His explanation for anything he does that doesn’t make sense to others; magic. Of course, it's generally true...
  548. Socketed Equipment: His staff has runes on it, which are used in the Dragon Age games to power up items if they have the capacity to hold runes. His staff specifically holds a rune of Fire, Frost, Lightning, and Spirit.
  549. Kleptomaniac Hero: If you learn anything in the Dragon Age universe, it’s to loot all bodies in the area for cool stuff, and to make sure you have a good rogue with you to open treasure chests.
  550. One Size Fits All: The equipment he found just happens to fit him.
  551. And Your Reward is Clothes : After the entire time in Kirkwall, the only things Spencer got from the secret area of the Chantry were the device that called his Arwing, and clothing accessories.
  552.
  553. =====
  554.
  555. Sergeant Azumi Emily Ian.
  556.
  557.
  558. A Mother To Her Men: Once someone's in her squad, she WILL fight as hard as she can to keep them all alive. She's a tough mother to them, but one none-the-less.
  559.
  560. Absolute Cleavage: Her Spy Catsuit, to her chagrin. It doesn't zip any further up. Check the entry on that below.
  561.
  562. Absurdly Sharp Blade: As per Metal Gear rules, this is actually subverted with her high-frequency blade. It is the heat generated by the high level of vibration rather than the edge of the blade that cuts through things.
  563.
  564. Action Girl
  565.
  566. Ain't Too Proud To Beg: Type 2 when her Morality Pets are threatened.
  567.
  568. Always Second Best: To Kynthia, Greg's dead girlfriend, except in strategy.
  569.
  570. Animal-Eared Headband: In her Spy Catsuit against her will.
  571.
  572. Anti Hero: Type III.
  573.
  574. The Apprentice: To Batman. Sort of to Ezio Auditore da Firenze, but only tangentially.
  575.
  576. Appropriated Appellation: Was given the title of Huntress from a dying simulation of Ra's al-Ghul. Also "the Wraith", given by the insane cultists of Fairport.
  577.
  578. Arch Enemy: Yuki "Rikka" Masami, though the feeling has only become mutual recently. Also a Friendly Enemy in some very minor degrees on some cases.
  579.
  580. Armor Is Useless: Subverted somewhat, in that the armor does deflect certain blows, but she can still take damage about as easily as anyone else. Also, she always looks for ways to upgrade her armor.
  581.
  582. Asskicking Equals Authority: How she initially rose in the ranks to Lance Corporal, and technically how she rose to Sergeant.
  583.
  584. Aura Vision: Her Visual Intelligence System, Reconnaissance (VISR) acts this way, giving a red outline around enemies; a green around allies; an orange around scenery, neutral targets, and invisible enemies; yellow around objectives; and blue around unmanned weapons. Standard issue for ODSTs, and technological, not magical, it also acts as an Enemy Detecting Radar.
  585.
  586. Bad Dreams: Does have them, most often about the Collective, the Flood, and/or glassing, with more facets with different experiences. Though not every night, frequently.
  587.
  588. Badass: Time will tell if this gets across, but she's meant to be a deconstruction of the concept. Yes, she can do a lot of things that are cool, and are usually in the realm of things a normal person could do. However, you do not want to go through the pain she went through to get there. Respect, yes. Wanting to emulate, no.
  589.
  590. Badass Creed: "Jump feet first into hell." Also variations on the same, such as simply "feet first," which is a borderline Catch Phrase.
  591.
  592. Badass In Distress: Her time with the Collective counts. Less her time with M. Jess, since she wasn't really sane enough to be considered "badass".
  593.
  594. Badass Normal: Reconstructed and self-enforced. She begins as incapable of holding her own against villainous Interferences, but has imposed self-induced Training From Hell in order to be able to still fight. The self-enforcement comes when she wants to prove she doesn't need powers.
  595.
  596. Baddie Flattery: Recipient from Rikka.
  597.
  598. Beauty Is Never Tarnished: Averted. Azumi does get severe head trauma at one point, messing up her face. Though potions do fix it, the change does have a definite impact on how some viewed her.
  599.
  600. Being Good Sucks: Oh yeah, definitely. Depending on the situation and which villains are involved, sometimes dips into No Good Deed Goes Unpunished.
  601.
  602. Berserk Button: Do not endanger Greg Zivaku or his family, or her crew. Also, do not imply or state that she is weak willed. Just...don't. People who do don't end out well.
  603.
  604. Bi The Way: Is attracted to both genders, but is reluctant to engage in "fraternization."
  605.
  606. Big Good: Granted, the Assassin Order operates on a Gray morality, but she is one of, if not the leader of the Assassin Order sect of Interferences, and her methods are decidedly more in the way of "good" than "evil". Also qualifies as a Badass In Charge.
  607.
  608. Bottomless Magazines: Averted. Azumi reloads or checks her ammunition whenever she has a spare moment, or if she can get behind cover to do so.
  609.
  610. Boyish Short Hair: Often, though she isn't above showing a feminine side. She just prefers to show herself as capable of things beyond a stereotype.
  611.
  612. Broken Bird: From her homeless, family-less nature to what she saw in the Human-Covenant War to her frequent humiliation, she has been turned to this out of necessity.
  613.
  614. Broken Faceplate: Twice so far. First, her form's mask in "Shadow of the Bat" was cut by Talia al Ghul, then her actual helmet faceplate was shattered with a few bashes from a Brute War Chieftain (second-highest rank for the entire Brute military, behind the leader of the race).
  615.
  616. Brown Eyes
  617.
  618. Cannot Spit It Out: To Greg about her feelings until it was too late, why she does not want others to make the same mistake.
  619.
  620. Canon Immigrant: Of a sort. She was originally a plot character based on interactions between two users, but was applied for in its entirety.
  621.
  622. The Chains of Commanding: Really feels these as the Mentor of the Interference Assassins.
  623.
  624. Clothing Damage: Non-fanservice. Her armor has been torn up a lot in "Prepare to Drop" in preparation for her acquisition of a new set. Sort of a variant on Trash The Set.
  625.
  626. Code Name: Hotel Kilo Two, formerly simply Kilo Two. Means "HK-2" in the Military Alphabet. Signifies her Red Baron name (Huntress) and her old unit (Fireteam Kilo).
  627.
  628. Cold Blooded Torture: Literally in a sense once. Mirrorverse!Jessica used repeated "Pressure" spells to asphyxiate her until her mind snapped into two different personalities, one of which ("Zumi") was her total puppet until her death. The effects still linger.
  629.
  630. Collapsible Helmet: In Space Paranoids after "The Game Has Changed", a'la TRON: Legacy and TRON: Evolution, the latter of which has some tech usable. Also, in a variation, she can control the opacity of her normal helmet through her neural uplink to make her face visible or invisible behind a mirrored lens.
  631.
  632. The Combat Pragmatist
  633.
  634. Cool Helmet: Her ODST helmet, complete with a Helmet Mounted Sight when opaque.
  635.
  636. The Cowl: Growing into the role. See Terror Hero.
  637.
  638. Crazy Awesome: As the Halo character page says, it takes a special kind of crazy to be an ODST. For example, she skyjacked (hijacked in midair) a flying plane going for a bombing run after jumping off of an ATV with no driver moving at a speed of around eighty miles per hour.
  639.
  640. Crazy Prepared: Is trying to become this just to cope with the worlds. Unsuccessfully thus far, but training works either way.
  641.
  642. Dark Is Not Evil: Keeps to the shadows as much as she can and wears dark armor, but is definitely a good person.
  643.
  644. Deadpan Snarker
  645.
  646. Deal With The Devil: First with Mirrorverse!Jessica to protect Greg and Kynthia at the expense of all freedom, then set to be with Rikka and the Collective at the expense of personal pride.
  647.
  648. Death Seeker: Has shades of this. While she is reasonable and does try her absolute best at everything, she still truly does not care if she dies as long as the people she cares for will be looked after, seeing as her family is dead and she is legally dead.
  649.
  650. Defeat By Modesty: Her method of obtaining her first victory against Rikka Masami was....not the nicest.
  651.
  652. Did You Just Flip Off Cthulhu: Her insults to the various Collective members seems to fit into this scheme, though they have yet to work.
  653.
  654. Doomed Homeworld: Her planet, Jericho VII, was glassed (rendered uninhabitable) in the years that she traveled through.
  655.
  656. Drill Sergeant Nasty: Only when she is trying to hide how she feels about something, or when she is extremely angry. More often the former, as she tries to keep her true emotions in check.
  657.
  658. Drink Order: Takes the strongest thing in the house when she goes drinking, which isn't often.
  659.
  660. Drop Pod: What she comes down in as part of her ODST job.
  661.
  662. Drowning Her Sorrows: Upon learning of the fate of her homeworld and likely her family, she engaged in this. Intoxication Ensues with Rose due to having such strong drinks, causing a rapid Mood Whiplash.
  663.
  664. Dye or Die: Kind of. She dyed her hair with bleach in order to make her way into the military at a young age.
  665.
  666. Easy Logistics: Averted as far as is needed. Many Interferences don't eat, so food is a nonissue, but extensive effort is made to make plans work out correctly when she is in command of a unit of Interferences.
  667.
  668. Elites Are More Glamorous: Averted. Azumi will not hesitate to say she has had to do some pretty nasty things as a shock trooper.
  669.
  670. Elite Army: A member of two of these at the same time. Mostly an ODST, but the InterAssassins sort of count based on how they do missions.
  671.
  672. Embarrassing Middle Name: Sort of. Dani calling her "Emily" tends to annoy her.
  673.
  674. Embarrassing Nickname: "Zumi". Initially an Affectionate Nickname from Liv Stevens, its use as a literal Pet Name by M. Jess turned it into this.
  675.
  676. Emotions vs Stoicism: Wavers a lot.
  677.
  678. Everyone's Dead Dave: She is the only surviving member of Fireteam Kilo. Greg was revived, but nobody else on her squad survived and made it back to their ship.
  679.
  680. Expy: An unintentional one of Riza Hawkeye in some extents. Comparisons can also be made to Agent Washington of Red vs. Blue, or, as was in a slight case intended, to Captain Veronica Dare of Halo 3: ODST. Also has growing similarities to Mark Spector, the Moon Knight of Marvel Comics and an Alternate Company Equivalent to Batman himself.
  681.
  682. Fantastic Racism: Of a sort. She hates SPARTAN IIs for a different reason than many other ODSTs, but if she could find out that they aren't completely emotionless and do actually care about people she would likely change her opinion.
  683.
  684. Fatal Flaw: Azumi will do whatever it takes to protect the Zivaku family and her team. This tends to get her into worse situations than she normally would be in.
  685.
  686. Fear Leads To Anger: She has admitted that she is afraid of Dani and Rikka, and also shows extreme hatred toward them, so this is likely implied.
  687.
  688. The Fettered
  689.
  690. Field Promotion / You Are In Command Now: How she rose from Lance Corporal to Corporal, taking Greg's position.
  691.
  692. Fiery Redhead: Zigzagged. She is only angry because she forces herself to be as such to hide her emotional instability. However, because she does so in so many situations, she does become angry, partly as a result of said training.
  693.
  694. Fire Breathing Weapon: Briefly used a M7057/Defoliant Projector when in New Mombasa.
  695.
  696. Foe Yay: With Rikka Masami. See Villainous Crush.
  697.
  698. Foil: To Rikka, Urd, Zero, Cetea, eventually Kitten, and probably others.
  699.
  700. Four Man Band: Her Fireteam Kilo. She was the Normal one.
  701.
  702. Four Philosophy Ensemble: Again Fireteam Kilo. She was the Realist.
  703.
  704. French Maid: Has visual elements of this in her maid attire, though she doesn't act it unless instructed by her "lady", Rikka.
  705.
  706. Fridge Brilliance: Her homeworld is called "Jericho VII." Jericho in Greek means "Moon City." This means that she came from "Moon City 7," placing a lunar affiliation on a second woman who likes Greg Zivaku. This was completely unintentional.
  707.
  708. Genius Bruiser: Not quite a genius, but a combat-oriented version of The Strategist might fit.
  709.
  710. Genre Savvy: Does know a lot about how a villain would or would not act based on fiction and research, though she doesn't really know Batman comics personally due to them possibly not existing in her time, and if they did, she didn't bother with them. Also has enough basic intelligence to be a fairly successful black operations soldier.
  711.
  712. Girls With Guns: A soldier, after all.
  713.
  714. Go-Go Enslavement: Her catsuit she is given by Mirrorverse!Jessica fits the bill. Her maid uniform to come is a minor example of this.
  715.
  716. Gone to the Future: Was caught in a temporal ripple in the year 2531 (Halo Wars) whilst in Human Popsicle storage, sending her to Radiant Garden while her universe moved forward to the year 2552 (Halo 2 and more recently Halo 3: ODST).
  717.
  718. Good Is Not Nice: Sometimes.
  719.
  720. Good Looking Privates: Well, she was drawn by Umiyuri. Also explicitly stated as attractive, and has certain physical traits of Selina Kyle of the Arkhamverse (mainly the hindquarters).
  721.
  722. Good Old Fistcuffs: Proficient in hand-to-hand combat. Was the best on her fireteam at it, but that doesn't necessarily mean she's up to par with Interferences. As of her extensive training with Batman, however, she probably is better than many Interferences at it.
  723.
  724. Green Eyed Monster: Admits that she is jealous of Kynthia for having Greg's love, but doesn't push it, only trying to make sure she doesn't break his heart again. Sort of justified, seeing as she is Always Second Best to Kynthia in Greg's eyes, and he talked about her very often.
  725.
  726. Grey DeLisle: In her Azula voice, and her Catwoman voice when on the rare occasion of her trying to seduce someone for a plan (the latter of which has only very rarely happened).
  727.
  728. Grievous Bottley Harm: Once defeated a Heartless using only a Potion bottle.
  729.
  730. Groin Attack: Several done, once to her in a training simulation.
  731.
  732. Guilt Complex: If anything goes wrong on a mission that isn't deliberately the fault of a third party except for the death of a teammate, she automatically puts all blame on herself. She also takes the fall for anyone else in terms of punishment as much as possible.
  733.
  734. Gun Stripping: A habit when she gets anxious. Given she's a soldier, she kind of has to know her way around a gun aside from just how to shoot.
  735.
  736. Hair of Gold: Subverted. Tried to bleach her hair blonde, but it ended up going orange.
  737.
  738. Hammerspace: Her rucksack on her back has it due to Merlin, to justify how she is able to carry so much equipment as a kind of Bag of Holding.
  739.
  740. Hammerspace Arsenal: Though she can hold as many healing items as others, she can only hold and use two guns at any one time unless she constantly holds a third instead, slightly averting this trope.
  741.
  742. Handguns: The M6C/SOCOM "Automag" handgun.
  743.
  744. Heartbroken Badass
  745.
  746. Helmets Are Hardly Heroic: Averted. If she is ever in combat, Azumi will make sure she has her helmet on if possible.
  747.
  748. Helpless Good Side: "Zumi" after "Reflections in a Mirror". If she's choked with water or otherwise asphyxiated for a lengthy time, she becomes completely subservient and will do anything to stop the pain.
  749.
  750. Heroic BSOD: Goes through one almost immediately after her initial Interference upon learning that her homeworld was glassed, her parents likely dead. Also, set to have several more over time.
  751.
  752. Heroic Vow: She will never abandon her team or Greg's family (that including the men's girlfriends). This has proven to be more trouble than its really worth, but the fact that she still sticks to it does place her as some form of martyr.
  753.
  754. Heroic Willpower: The only reason she managed to escape her hypnosis by Dani, though it did take a long time, and left her with lasting psychological scars, including her case of I Kiss Your Foot. Aside from that, she has no magical resistance whatsoever.
  755.
  756. Hollywood Silencer: On her M6C/SOCOM "Automag" pistol and M7S Submachine Gun.
  757.
  758. Hope Spot: "Steel and Light" functions as this for her. She did pretty well against Rikka, and did win, albeit underhandedly. However, she also went on a crash course for Fairport courtesy of the Light of Destruction herself soon after, and her life is set to get even worse.
  759.
  760. Human Popsicle: How she traveled around in slipspace before Interfering, and also how she made her way to Radiant Garden. She had freezer burn as a result of wearing clothes in there.
  761.
  762. Hurting Heroine: See Broken Bird.
  763.
  764. I Kiss Your Foot: Twice, both a complete cleaning of the foot with her tongue, or a polishing of the boot in the case of Dani. Only once was it without hypnosis thus far.
  765.
  766. I Surrender, Suckers: Uses Rikka's arrogance against her in "Steel and Light" this way in her first Batman Gambit.
  767.
  768. I Want My Beloved To Be Happy: Well, a crush. She admits she's jealous of Kynthia, and hates some of how she acts toward him, thinking he deserves better, but she lets him live through it because it's what he wants.
  769.
  770. I Will Punish Your Friend For Your Failure: Pretty much the terms she's under when she's forced to work for someone, mostly Greg and/or Kynthia. More prominent with the alliance with the Collective, though.
  771.
  772. Improbable Aiming Skills: Generally averted. She doesn't always hit, nor does she always get headshots.
  773.
  774. Improvised Weapon: Will use anything she can get her hands on. Including a Potion bottle once.
  775.
  776. In Space Everyone Can See Your Face: Can depolarize her armor's visor for communication, but polarizes it for combat. See One Way Visor.
  777.
  778. Incompatible Orientation: Given her CO was completely Kynthiasexual.
  779.
  780. Infrared X-Ray Camera: Her upgraded VISR for her Wraith suit has it, albeit more realistically than some, since it's harder to get a good feed on their heat signature through walls. Still can see increased heart rate and falling heart rates, though.
  781.
  782. Instant Expert: Averted as much as I can. Unlike many Interferences, she has trouble doing some skills until she gets weeks of training at it.
  783.
  784. Iron Woobie: See Broken Bird.
  785.
  786. Irrational Hatred: Of Jessica Mireu. Not entirely irrational, considering the face, voice, clothing, and weapon are the same as the woman who tortured her near insanity with water boarding, but definitely out of proportion. Measures are being established to fix this in the future.
  787.
  788. It Gets Easier: Giving herself up, though she hates herself for it.
  789.
  790. Its Raining Men: From orbit as part of her job description.
  791.
  792. Jack Bauer Interrogation Technique: Sometimes applies this to get quicker information, but has no reservations about calling it what it really is. That, and she normally uses it to keep someone from talking, since she knows that torture does not always work.
  793.
  794. Jerk With A Heart Of Gold: How some might view her. She's more of a "professional who doesn't want to have unnecessary setbacks" than a jerk, though. She's just hard about it.
  795.
  796. Jerkass Façade
  797.
  798. Just Friends: Unfortunately with Greg. She's aware that it's one-sided, but it doesn't really hurt less.
  799.
  800. Kinetic Weapons Are Just Better: Subverted. She doesn't only use kinetic weapons by any standpoint, but just has a preference for them out of familiarity.
  801.
  802. The Kirk: Of the InterAssassin leadership trio, to Zero's Spock and Cetea's McCoy.
  803.
  804. Kissing Under The Influence: What happens in Port Royal stays in Port Royal, especially when heavily drunk. Rose, for the record, and it doesn't really mean anything for either of them aside from that Azumi will try her best to stay away from her.
  805.
  806. Knife Nut: Has her UNSC issue combat knife for close combat aside from her unarmed skill, though it isn't too effective except in the case of assassinations or some Heartless.
  807.
  808. Knight In Sour Armor
  809.
  810. Know When To Fold Em: While a Determinator, she will consider trying to escape a conflict if it is impossible to find any benefit in continuing.
  811.
  812. Le Parkour: Proficient as of "Edge and Flight".
  813.
  814. The Leader: Type II with some very thin shades of the anger of a Type III.
  815.
  816. Lightning Bruiser: In close combat, she is fast, but strong, to the point that people are sometimes surprised at how fast she can be. Being pretty brutal doesn't hurt either.
  817.
  818. Limited Waredrobe: Averted, a rarity in the forum. She regularly changes between her armor, a casual outfit, her maid uniform, or a modified Assassin outfit, in addition to her upcoming Wraith armor.
  819.
  820. Living With The Villain: A variation, in that both of them know exactly who each other is, but Rikka does not know about Azumi's "Wraith" activities. And, after a fashion, neither does Azumi.
  821.
  822. Love Is A Weakness: Not exactly, but her philosophy for herself is based on this. She doesn't impose it on others, but tries to avoid romantic attachment for this reason. It kind of fits into a Paralyzing Fear of Sexuality, though not overtly.
  823.
  824. Luckily My Shield Will Protect Me: Her Kig-yar point defense gauntlet projects a shield that is invulnerable to kinetic weapons, though it can be knocked away, and plasma, fire, and photokinesis to take it down for a time.
  825.
  826. Machete Mayhem: Her newer Jiralhanae combat knife is more of a serrated, curved version of this than a knife for a human.
  827.
  828. Made a Slave: Briefly to Mirrorverse!Jessica as part of a Deal With The Devil. Technically, her upcoming "employment" to Rikka counts as well.
  829.
  830. Madness Mantra: At times of stress after Fairport was escaped, she delves into repetitions of "Instinct, training, discipline, control." It's a little creepy and sad.
  831.
  832. Martial Medic: Though not to the degree of an expert, she has some degree of medical training, including some drugs and bonesetting.
  833.
  834. Master of None: Had no real specialty in her old fireteam aside from perhaps strategy.
  835.
  836. Mildly Military: Generally won't tell someone not to call her by a rank, but usually has no problem with it being given. That said, she's not afraid to pull rank when necessary.
  837.
  838. Military Maverick: If she does not believe in a mission, she will not follow it or will change it to something more beneficial.
  839.
  840. Military Superheroine: As of her training with Batman.
  841.
  842. Mind Rape: Suffers it at the hands of her post-traumatic stress disorder, her time in Fairport, and her time in the hands of the Collective. Due to her fragile mental state, she is easier to crack psychologically than the average UNSC officer.
  843.
  844. More Dakka: Is a fan, though she realizes the issues with a stationary turret, and so usually relies on her M7S.
  845.
  846. The Musketeer: In a sense. She prefers guns, but is learning her way at close combat. She is very good with unarmed combat, and has both a machete and a combat knife.
  847.
  848. Neural Implanting: Her standard-issue UNSCDF neural interface is implanted to the back of her head, giving both identification and VISR capabilities.
  849.
  850. Neutral Good
  851.
  852. Never A Self Made Woman: More or less averted. She gets by on her prowess alone, and, though she did get her promotion to Corporal from Greg, it was entirely due to merit aside from how he was going to die anyway.
  853.
  854. Ninja: More or less. Spec Ops teams like the ODSTs are pretty much modern day ninja, with those being futuristic ninja. Gained even more ninja-like nature in "Shadow of the Bat." And then there's the point when she becomes the leader of a sect of Assassin's Creed style assassins in the southwest areas of Haven City.
  855.
  856. Ninja Maid: Of the Collective, and more accurately, of Rikka.
  857.
  858. Night Vision Goggles: VISR operates like this, along with other functions. As with most nightvision, it is detrimental in strong light.
  859.
  860. Not Wearing Tights: Says as much to Batman during their training. Unfortunately, M. Jess thinks otherwise later (see Spy Catsuit).
  861.
  862. Nothing Up My Sleeve: As of "Ashes of Arkham", keeps one of the sets of Floyd "Deadshot" Lawton's wrist mounted silenced guns on one arm or two, usually armed with nonlethal rounds. These are usually hidden under her sleeves, and are unknown to most if not all villains. Technically also her Shockblade, but that's more invisible.
  863.
  864. Number Two: Formerly literally. See You Are Number Two.
  865.
  866. Of Corsets Sexy: Against her will when in her uniform as Rikka's maid.
  867.
  868. One Of The Boys: To the point where she takes it as a compliment when someone calls her a man, though she also calls being feminine some degree of a compliment.
  869.
  870. One Way Visor: When in combat, polarizes her visor so as to allow her weapon HUD and targeting reticle up. Can depolarize, though. See In Space Everyone Can See Your Face.
  871.
  872. Only Sane Woman: Granted, one of many of this type, but she fully grasps just how bizarre what they go through is, seeing as she does not personally engage in the magic of it all herself. Cheryl is close, but she bluntly talks about biologically impossible processes. Also ironic, considering her Sanity Slippage.
  873.
  874. Orphan's Ordeal: Rather late in her life, yes, but she did run away from home at the age of sixteen. She tries to cope with the probability of her parents' loss by shoving herself into her work and dedicating her life to continuing to protect those close to her, even at the sacrifice of parts of herself.
  875.
  876. Parental Abandonment: In a sense inverted. See The Runaway. She has no idea if they are alive, but it is extremely believable that they are not.
  877.
  878. Parental Surrogate: Bruce "Batman" Wayne of the DCAU to her. Also, she is set to become one to Kitten Arbore.
  879.
  880. Passive Aggressive Kombat: Post-Siren's Call encounters with Rikka Masami tend to go down this route, at least initially.
  881.
  882. Possession Implies Mastery: Averted with her Brute machete and high frequency blade. She is basically just swinging them around as best as she can, using knife training. For that, like anything, she needs to have actual training to be good with.
  883.
  884. Pride: Has a little bit of a problem with this, though not nearly as much as her archenemy, and can swallow it.
  885.
  886. Properly Paranoid: Assumes anyone can be a threat, which has admittedly only caused her any real trouble once, and even then was not too big of a deal.
  887.
  888. Real Women Don't Wear Dresses: Why she doesn't wear one (except when forced by Rikka), but she doesn't hold anything against those who do. It's just preference on her part.
  889.
  890. Reality Ensues: Frequently.
  891.
  892. Really Seventeen Years Old: Sixteen when she joined the UNSCDF, but lied about her age as eighteen.
  893.
  894. Reasonable Authority Figure: Seems to be growing into one in terms of when she has leadership.
  895.
  896. Red Baron: Huntress, as given by a simulation of Ra's al-Ghul as a Legacy Character, though not a Sidekick.
  897.
  898. Red Oni: To Zero and Batman's Blue Oni. Not to the point of distraction, but can be irritated more easily.
  899.
  900. Redheaded Hero(ine): By accident due to hair dye not working right. And it's not natural, and can go away given time.
  901.
  902. Reluctant Fanservice Girl: Not played for laughs at all.
  903.
  904. The Resenter: See Green Eyed Monster.
  905.
  906. Returning War Vet: Replace "returning" (seeing as the war is still going on) with "gone Interfering", and that's totally her.
  907.
  908. Revenge: Her overall goal with regards to the Collective, against primarily both Rikka, who has lain "claim" to her as a maid since their first meeting; and Dani, who hypnotized and humiliated her along with Rikka.
  909.
  910. Reverse Grip: Often holds the combat knife this way.
  911.
  912. Room Full of Crazy: The meat locker in Best Save Co. of Fairport during "Little Girl in the World Below."
  913.
  914. Rule of Seven: Sees a lot of things in sevens. Blame Bungie (and Stosh).
  915.
  916. The Runaway: Azumi at a young age. She never forgave herself after hearing that her world was glassed.
  917.
  918. Sacrificed Basic Skill for Awesome Training: A pretty bad cook, though not to Lethal Chef standards and definitely remediable.
  919.
  920. Samus Is A Girl: This revelation has been reached several times by various characters. She actually tries to make this effect through the use of little speech during interrogations so that she can catch people off-guard later.
  921.
  922. Sanity Slippage: Interfering has, I repeat, not been nice to her. Mind Rape tends to do that.
  923.
  924. Screw The Rules, I'm Doing What's Right: The reason she sometimes disregards orders from superiors.
  925.
  926. Secret Identity: "The Wraith", as of "Pale Rider".
  927.
  928. Secret Keeper: For Batman's identity as Bruce Wayne. Highly debatable, since most Externals would know, and the few Internals who would still wouldn't really care one way or the other (except Scarecrow). Only really notable for her among Interferences because she calls him "Bruce" to his face, albeit in relative privacy.
  929.
  930. See the Invisible: Only technologically invisible. Magical invisibility gets under her VISR.
  931.
  932. Semper Fi: Though she doesn't flaunt it everywhere, only where she can actually make her rank mean something. In most cases, saying she's from the Marines is to give a slight bit of background only.
  933.
  934. Sensual Spandex: Latex, actually, and not by choice. See Spy Catsuit.
  935.
  936. Sergeant Rock: She may shout and have harsh discipline, but will not ask anyone to do something she does not know if she can do herself. If only that person is shown to be capable, she will rely on their expertise, only being angry for explicit disregard of orders.
  937.
  938. Sergeant Rough: To Zero's Captain Smooth.
  939.
  940. Servile Snarker: Really takes after A.L.F.R.E.D. once she gives in to Rikka. Well, as much as she can without being reprimanded.
  941.
  942. She Cleans Up Nicely: Whether she wants to or not.
  943.
  944. Shell Shocked Veteran: Only really comes to the forefront when faced with the Flood or glassing, but there none-the-less.
  945.
  946. Sighted Guns Are Low Tech: Averted. Favors sighted weapons.
  947.
  948. Silk Hiding Steel: Forces this façade to keep on Rikka's good side.
  949.
  950. Space Marine: See Semper Fi.
  951.
  952. Sniper Rifle: Her Dead Space universe Seeker Rifle, which she also uses for shotgun breaching.
  953.
  954. Something About a Rose: Has three pink Japanese roses on her maid uniform.
  955.
  956. Spy Catsuit: Her dark blue and black catsuit with a matching headband with leopard ears given by M. Jess, as shown in her journal. She is not amused, not by the necessary Vapor Wear nor by the placement of her etherspace pouch for it as a Victoria's Secret Compartment. While it gives her a more flexible combat range in hand to hand, she still knows what it symbolizes for her.
  957.
  958. The Squadette: In Fireteam Kilo.
  959.
  960. Squick: Has her leg shattered in New Mombasa, with a Sickening Crunch. Earlier, licked dirt and grime off of a woman's shoes while under hypnosis.
  961.
  962. Static Stun Gun: Gets a stun sword. Still is looking for a nonlethal long range weapon, though.
  963.
  964. Stealth Insult: A fan of these. Given her position in the Collective, she sort of has to be.
  965.
  966. Stepford Snarker: What you get when you mix a Broken Bird and a Deadpan Snarker.
  967.
  968. Stocking Filler: Silver nylons in her maid uniform.
  969.
  970. Stuff Blowing Up: Is a fan of explosives, though she still has trouble getting her hands on them. Does have UNSC frag grenades, though she only can bring two to four on any one trip before needing to restock.
  971.
  972. Submissive Badass: To Rikka.
  973.
  974. Teach Me How To Fight: Kind of the point of a vast majority of "Shadow of the Bat."
  975.
  976. The Team Normal: In most if not all of her Interference teams if she has them.
  977.
  978. Technical Pacifist: Forced to a Thou Shalt Not Kill mentality by Batman, but is not above Loophole Abuse, shooting someone and having them Left For Dead, giving a wound that won't kill immediately, or implying to others that she would like them to do the deed instead. Also, this only applies to humans. Nonhumans are fair game.
  979.
  980. Terms of Endangerment: Subverted with being called "my dear Azumi" by Rikka. She doesn't actually mean her any harm as long as she does as she's told. Played straight with "Zumi" and M. Jess.
  981.
  982. Terror Heroine: Type 3, as a result of her different types of training. Has been trained as something of a Type 1, however, though not as much as a Type 3. Also a Type 5 of sorts in Nirn only due to Zero helping spread her reputation for two hundred years, though it's not very overt.
  983.
  984. The Dead Have Names: A believer, enhanced by the fact that her entire team died unsung.
  985.
  986. They Fight Crime: With Cetea mostly, as seen and lampshaded in "Risky Business". She's a hardline human with no powers who wants to lighten up! She's a softhearted asari with biotic telekinesis who wants to be tougher! Together, they fight crime!
  987.
  988. Took A Level In Badass: "Shadow of the Bat" encompassed her taking one in close combat and stealth tactics, though she was by no means un-badass before.
  989.
  990. Training From Hell: Has undergone two types thus far: UNSC Marine Corps Special Forces training for the ODSTs and further combat and mental training under Bruce "Batman" Wayne. One might count Greg's training in the ODSTs as a separate level, but that is less known.
  991.
  992. Tranquil Fury: When Azumi is angry, she will start by making annoyed comments, then start shouting... then stop shouting entirely. You do not want to get her to the third stage.
  993.
  994. Trauma Conga Line: With a few rare exceptions, Interfering has not been a pleasant experience for her.
  995.
  996. Try To Catch Me Fighting Dirty
  997.
  998. Tsundere: Type A, only going deredere sometimes around Greg or occasionally around Batman if he can break her down, along with perhaps Kitten. Recently, Rikka also has seen this side of her a few times.
  999.
1000. Twenty Four Hour Armor: Averted, as she is seen with a normal shirt on instead of her chest armor at once point in "Swan Song", and so it is implied that she does not wear it all of the time. She even has several different outfits she uses, with the armor just being the most often seen.
  1001.
1002. Two Aliases, One Character: Actually, four aliases. She uses "Lightsworn" for her dealings for Rikka, "Huntress" or "Hunter" for her InterAssassin work and closer Batman work, "Kilo Two" or "Hotel Kilo Two" for her military operations, and "Wraith" for private manipulation and stealth operations for herself.
  1003.
1004. Unknown Rival: Sort of with Rikka until "Steel and Light".
  1005.
1006. Unphased Everywoman: Well, not exactly an everywoman, but a non-powered Interference who just tends to roll with the weird.
  1007.
1008. Vibroblade: Her high-frequency wakizashi is this.
  1009.
1010. Villainous Crush: Inverted with Rikka, who she does find attractive, but hates and is...rather unwilling to say as much to. See Foe Yay.
  1011.
1012. Vitriolic Best Buds: Sort of a Type 2 with K1-R4 when they partner up. She generally loses snarking contests to the AI, though.
  1013.
1014. Vomit Indiscretion Shot: If you were forced to literally eat dirt off of someone's feet, you'd probably vomit too.
  1015.
1016. War Is Hell: Firm believer. Even says as much once.
  1017.
1018. Warrior Therapist: With growing prominence.
  1019.
1020. We Will Wear Armor In The Future: From a Marine Corps in the early to mid 26th century, and still wears body armor.
  1021.
1022. What Measure Is A Nonhuman?: Played with. She doesn't believe in this philosophy in and of itself, and will defend anyone who truly deserves it, human or not. However, she does use it as a justification to give her times when she is still allowed to kill while following Batman's orders.
  1023.
1024. Why Did It Have To Be Snakes?: Asphyxiation, mostly water boarding or otherwise drowning. Justified by her Cold Blooded Torture.
  1025.
1026. With Due Respect: On occasion, though if she is going to disregard orders, she generally does not say so.
  1027.
1028. Would Not Shoot A Civilian: Usually. She only attacks any civilian in self-defense, except when under extreme stress.
  1029.
1030. You Are Number Six: Kept the numbered alias of "Kilo Two" willingly after her time travel. Subverted in that it's just meant to identify her in military terms, not to marginalize her.
  1031.
1032. Your Eyes Can Deceive You: Learns this as a part of her training with Batman so as to be able to still fight if she is blinded mid-VISR use again.
  1033.
  1034. =====
  1035.
  1036. Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow
  1037.
  1038.
1039. Composite Character: In a sense. He’s a mixture of various continuities, with the appearance of Cillian Murphy, the voice of his Arkham Asylum appearance, and the personality is a mix of the DCAU and comics.
  1040.
1041. Adaptation Distillation: Similar to Composite Character. He is a mixture of continuities, just like the Arkham series in general.
  1042.
1043. For Science: The reason he conducts his ‘experiments’, my interpretation, at least. In reality, he's hardly accomplishing anything with these experiments, and he's really just a psychopath of the highest caliber. He truly believes that he is doing this for science, though.
  1044.
1045. Evil Genius: To Ignis’ Five Bad Band.
  1046.
1047. I Know Kung-Fu: He combines Crane style Kung-Fu with drunken boxing to create his own martial art he calls ‘violent dancing’.
  1048.
1049. Incredibly Lame Pun: See I Know Kung Fu. Blame Knightfall.
  1050.
1051. Sinister Scythe: Before he got his Yellow Power Ring, he used a scythe as his weapon of choice. Even afterwards, he still favors a scythe construct.
  1052.
1053. Wolverine Claws: The needles on his right hand can count, as well as another of his favored constructs.
  1054.
1055. Faux Affably Evil: Very, very much.
  1056.
1057. Manipulative Bastard: One of his strongest abilities is to break people simply by talking to them. He even talked two men into suicide, once.
  1058.
1059. Hannibal Lecture: A master of this.
  1060.
1061. Adaptational Attractiveness: My interpretation has the appearance of Cillian Murphy, who played Crane in the Nolan Batman, and is known for being highly attractive. I find it adds to the affableness.
  1062.
  1063. Four Eyes Zero Soul
  1064.
1065. A God Am I: He already has a bit of a god complex from his mastery over fear, but the addition of his Yellow Ring only adds to it.
  1066.
1067. Psycho Pyschologist: Very much so.
  1068.
  1069. Stoic Spectacles
  1070.
  1071. Scary Shiny Glasses
  1072.
  1073. Mad Doctor
  1074.
1075. Lean and Mean: He’s extremely skinny, as well as having really long arms and legs.
  1076.
1077. Scary Scarecrows: Take a guess.
  1078.
1079. Mind Rape: His fear toxin tends to induce this.
  1080.
1081. Playing With Syringes: One of the ways he can inject fear toxin.
  1082.
1083. Green Lantern Ring: His Yellow Power Ring, of course.
  1084.
1085. Swiss Army Weapon: What his Yellow Ring can create is only limited by his imagination.
  1086.
1087. Phlebotinum Battery: His Ring needs to be charged, which is done by feeding off of others’ fear.
  1088.
1089. Mythology Gag: The game where Crane got his ring is the same where Amon Sur tries to kill off all the Green Lanterns out of jealousy of his father’s ring going to Hal Jordan instead of him. In the comics, Scarecrow would have received what was once Amon Sur’s Yellow Ring, but it was intercepted by the heroes.
  1090.
1091. Why Did it Have to be Batman: Bats, and especially Batman himself, are the only things Crane fears. However, he actually enjoys this.
  1092.
1093. I Know What You Fear: He can usually find out through use of his fear toxin, and his Power Ring can create constructs of people’s worst fears.
  1094.
1095. “What Do They Fear?” Episode: A walking, talking one.
  1096.
  1097. High Octane Nightmare Fuel
  1098.
1099. Primal Fear: His fear toxin can induce this, as well as fears specific to the person.
  1100.
1101. Deadly Doctor: He can use his knowledge of the psyche to break people down simply by talking to them.
  1102.
1103. Morally Ambiguous Doctorate: He has a Ph.D in psychology, and minored in psychiatry.
  1104.
1105. Light is not Good: His Qwardian Ring's energy is literally hard light.
  1106.
1107. Hard Light: What the constructs his ring creates are made of.
  1108.
1109. Parental Abandonment: He never knew his father, and his mother left him with his absolutely evil grandmother just after he was born.
  1110.
  1111. Softspoken Sadist: Very much.
  1112.
1113. Red Baron: He rarely even calls himself by his own name.
  1114.
1115. Names to Run Away From Really Fast: Of the "Nouns" variety.
  1116.
  1117. =====
  1118.
1119. Here's a trope list for Naminé. Her original ones are listed here.
  1120.
1121. Took A Level In Badass: Though not shown just yet, she is very capable of fighting. Also, due to Joumae and Lukgar, she has a very large amount of snark.
  1122.
1123. Talking To Themself: For Kairi.
  1124.
1125. Relationship Upgrade: Averted, unlike Kairi and Sora.
  1126.
1127. Cool Key / Cool Sword: Memorial
  1128.
1129. Memory Gambit: Actually unintentional, but her guilt about the Xion situation led to her being rediscovered by Roxas later.
  1130.
1131. Amnesia Missed A Spot: A good example. See Memory Gambit.
  1132.
1133. The Soulless: Or Is She?
  1134.
1135. Memory Tropes: Quite a few of these are used in her Memory Magic, added to her Rewriting Reality.
  1136.
1137. The Smart Girl: Shared this position with Roxas in the quartet.
  1138.
1139. Closer To Earth: To complement Roxas, she is basically another smarter member of their group, just minus his sarcasm.
  1140.
  1141. =====
  1142.
1143. Omega Empire (The War of Heaven and Hell)
  1144.
  1145. Big Bad: Reaper Zivaku
  1146.
  1147. The Dragon: Phantom Rivers
  1148.
1149. The Evil Genius: Elena Mireu
  1150.
  1151. The Brute: Ronald Rivers
  1152.
1153. The Dark Chick: Diana Usagi (temporarily, until the Sixth Ranger takes over)
  1154.
1155. The Sixth Ranger: Jessica Mireu
  1156.
1157. Sixth Ranger Traitor: Mercenary Samuel Dolor
  1158.
1159. Quirky Miniboss Squad: The lieutenants (literal Knight Templar Richard Brier, Killer Space Monkeys Gryyed and Alviorus, and Sibling Team Lawrence and Carter Barkley).
  1160.
  1161. The Starscream: The Gravemind
  1162.
1163. Contagious AI: Marathon Eva, also an I Am Legion variation on a Serial Killer
  1164.
  1165. Overlord Jr.: Letum Zivaku
  1166.
1167. Daddy's Little Villain: Nyx Zivaku
  1168.
1169. Bigger Bad: The Darkness, Zeik on a smaller scale.
  1170.
1171. Dark Is Evil: Like whoa.
  1172.
1173. Light Is Not Good: Sometimes, in the case of moonlight at least.
  1174.
  1175. Dark World: Valhalla
  1176.
1177. Villain World: More like Villain Multiverse in "Freedom of Niðhöggr," but Folkvangr is most prominent.
  1178.
  1179. The Empire
  1180.
1181. Conqueror From The Future: A bunch of them.
  1182.
1183. Future Me Scares Me: Subverted by the several younger Inters.
  1184.
1185. Bad Future: Many come from one, and their victory in an alternate timeline causes one.
  1186.
1187. Mook Lieutenant: All of the Quirky Miniboss Squad and the Gravemind. Also technically Hayabusa in the Niðhöggr timeline, in a Slave Mook sense.
  1188.
1189. Sealed Evil In A Can / Sealed Good In A Can: Alucard in the Niðhöggr timeline. Which he is depends on your interpretation. Definitely a Sealed Badass In A Can, though.
  1190.
  1191. =====
  1192.
  1193. The Collective
  1194.
  1195. Big Bad: Ignis Fatuus
  1196.
  1197. The Dragon: Dani
  1198.
1199. The Evil Genius: Dr. Jonathan "Scarecrow" Crane
  1200.
1201. The Brute/The Dark Chick: Yuki "Rikka" Masami, the Light of Destruction.
  1202.
1203. Token Good Teammate: Azumi Ian, working for Rikka.
  1204.
1205. Legion of Doom: Mostly against Audrey Jones, but relatively expanded through sheer numbers.
  1206.
1207. Brains, Beauty, Brawn: Granted, they began with some degree of all three each, but Ignis, Dani, and Rikka seem to fit into the groups for the initial trio respectively, relatively speaking.
  1208.
1209. The Butler Did It: Well, The Maid Did It, but Azumi is set to screw up a lot of their plans subversively, using a secret identity to hide.
  1210.
1211. Passive Aggressive Kombat: Mostly Azumi, since she can't react many other ways, but there is quite a bit of this. In some cases, it dips straight into Teeth Clenched Teamwork.
  1212.
1213. With Friends Like These: Well, allies, but they still act this way in many cases, possibly to the point of Teeth Gritted Teamwork.
  1214.
  1215. Villain Team Up
  1216.
1217. Dysfunction Junction: Granted, some of the issues are pretty downplayed in favor of objective evil, but still.
  1218.
1219. Space Base: White Night, Rikka's Gummi Ship palace. Also a variant on the Type 2 Ominous Floating Castle.
  1220.
1221. Evil Minions: Dani's hypnotized Slave Mooks, spread throughout the worlds and occasionally on the White Night.
  1222.
1223. Mind Rape: Many of the villains are big fans of this. Two of the members are victims, mostly of the mundane variety.
  1224.
1225. A Lighter Shade of Black: The only reason Rikka is considered a Type I AntiVillain for now is because she's this to basically the rest of the group.
  1226.
  1227. =====
  1228.
1229. Now for other organizations. I'll start with the Interference Assassins.
  1230.
  1231. Interference Assassin Order
  1232.
  1233. Ancient Conspiracy
  1234.
1235. Arch Enemy: The Knights Templar, though not really overtly in most cases.
  1236.
1237. Asskicking Equals Authority: Subverted. The strongest and fastest of the group aren't necessarily the best leaders, so they are not the officers.
  1238.
1239. Band of Brothers: Sort of. Not really overtly, and it's mostly the commanding officers that act this way.
  1240.
1241. Combat Pragmatist: In some ways, though they do have standards.
  1242.
1243. Freudian Trio: The leaders. Azumi is The Kirk and the commander. The Spock is Zero. Cetea was The McCoy until, due to not believing Azumi is best as leader and letting her own ambitions run away with her, she quit.
  1244.
1245. Black And Gray Morality / Gray And Gray Morality: A Lighter Shade Of Gray, though. Also applies to their allies.
  1246.
  1247. The Hashashin: In origin.
  1248.
1249. In The Hood: Standard attire, though most don't have it yet.
  1250.
  1251. In Series Nickname: InterAssassins.
  1252.
1253. Mildly Military: In a sense. An order is an order, a job a job, and they can't go against a direct order in accordance with their standards or their Creed, but lower members can make suggestions to help, and people do tend to act as though on a similar level personally.
  1254.
1255. Murder Inc: In name. Rather low key about this part of their job, though.
  1256.
  1257. The Order: Well, yeah.
  1258.
1259. Order Versus Chaos: The conflict, instead of good versus evil. Chaos being free will, this is the Assassin side of things, with control and Order being the Templar one.
  1260.
1261. Professional Killer: See Murder Inc.
  1262.
1263. Recruiting the Criminal: Some of their allies are, while better than the alternatives, still not exactly legal.
  1264.
1265. Space Cops: We kinda needed a policing force for the good Interferences, after all.
  1266.
1267. Well-Intentioned Extremist: Mostly subverted, but they have their moments.
  1268.
  1269. =====
  1270.
1271. Sora. His list from the actual Kingdom Hearts series can be seen here.
  1272.
  1273.
1274. Ace Pilot: Not exactly but he's the one who pilots Gummi ships whenever possible. Granted, his friend Greg was a Captain Crash.
  1275.
1276. And Show It To You: Actually watched Reaper devour his heart.
  1277.
1278. Ax Crazy: His Superpowered Evil Side, Anti Form, takes on this persona, though not mentally as in Alex' case. Granted, according to Word of God, the form is a representation of Sanity Slippage as a whole after all of the games' events, so take that as you will.
  1279.
1280. Back From The Dead: Time travel was involved.
  1281.
1282. Battle Couple: Isn't it obvious?
  1283.
1284. Berserk Button: Don't hurt his friends, especially Kairi. Seriously, just don't.
  1285.
1286. The Bet: With Greg in Pride Lands once on Heartless kill counts. Greg, the winner, was able to name their ship the Redemption.
  1287.
1288. The Big Guy: In the quartet.
  1289.
1290. Bio Augmentation: For about ten seconds in Rapture before Isaac stole his ElectroBolt plasmid.
  1291.
1292. Blackmail: Of himself and Kairi.
  1293.
1294. Blood From the Mouth: And Show It To You tends to cause this.
  1295.
1296. Blue Oni: Formerly to Greg's Red Oni Now they're closer to the same, if not inverted, when around each other.
  1297.
1298. Break The Cutie: Many times, including physical torture and emotional pain.
  1299.
1300. Butt Monkey: The butt of many a joke.
  1301.
1302. Cold Blooded Torture: A variant on Playing With Syringes to a degree, performed by BioShock's Dr. J.S. Steinman and aided by Isaac Zivaku and his partner, Ronald Rivers. Left horrific surgical scars after healing.
  1303.
1304. Dumbass No More: Recently, as directed by Roxas.
  1305.
1306. Emotionally Tongue Tied: On an I Uh You Too level, to Roxas' chagrin.
  1307.
1308. Fireball: A Fable spell he had for some time, but lost.
  1309.
1310. The Glomp: Both to him and by him more than once.
  1311.
1312. Good Scars: Surgical scars on his chest from his stay with the resident Rapture Mengele, Dr. J.S. Steinman.
  1313.
1314. Handguns: His Halo M6C, which had Depleted Phlebotinum Shells in the form of Holy infusion. Regretfully, he left this on Greg's ship.
  1315.
1316. Heterosexual LIfe Partners: Aside from Riku, Donald, and Goofy, with Greg also.
  1317.
1318. Impaled With Extreme Prejudice: During his Transformation Sequence, no less!
  1319.
1320. Insane Forgiveness: In keeping with his game persona, he has forgiven any villain willing, including Isaac Zivaku, who actually murdered his best Interference friend and enslaved said friend's girlfriend.
  1321.
1322. It Was A Gift: Two Become One and Limit Form, courtesy of Xon.
  1323.
1324. Leave The Two Lovebirds Alone: His rule regarding relationships unless they have to keep moving. Also Greg's rule toward him, to his embarrassment.
  1325.
1326. Nice Guy: Almost always, unless you hurt his friends. Then, Beware The Nice Ones.
  1327.
1328. No Hugging No Kissing: With Kairi. Holding Hands is okay, though, even though they try to avoid doing that in public.
  1329.
1330. Not Allowed To Grow Up: His age is stuck where the games left him. This tends to weird people out at times, but mostly Internals.
  1331.
1332. Official Couple: See Battle Couple.
  1333.
1334. Our Hero Is Dead: In The War of Heaven and Hell, courtesy of Reaper via Combat By Champion.
  1335.
1336. Platonic Life Partners: With Kynthia for a long time. Also Naminé.
  1337.
1338. Relationship Upgrade: Double Subverted in terms of himself and Kairi.
  1339.
1340. Sacrificial Lion: In War. Not so much set up as him being an incredibly important character in the universe.
  1341.
1342. Scars Are Forever: Subverted. While the scars of his torture ini Rapture are not completely gone, they have faded with time, meaning that he will be better later.
  1343.
1344. She's Not My Girlfriend: Nobody's buying it.
  1345.
1346. Shipper On Deck: For some of the Interference couples as well as other canons, in line with his encouragement of the Disney ones in the games.
  1347.
1348. Talking To Themself: Roxas, the Key of Destiny.
  1349.
1350. Too Awesome To Use: A variant in the case of Final Form. He would use it, but he's afraid of dying again.
  1351.
1352. Took A Level In Dumbass: For a while. He's getting better.
  1353.
1354. Tragic Bromance: With Greg, though not with Ho Yay. Greg was the death (He Got Better), and it, along with other things in Greg's life, pushed him into a depression.
  1355.
1356. With Friends Like These: Roxas.
  1357.
  1358. =====
  1359.
1360. Another for Roxas. This one also has its places here.
  1361.
  1362.
1363. Deadpan Snarker: Blame Joumae and Lukgar.
  1364.
1365. Despair Event Horizon: If not crossing it, comes very close when he hears of Joumae's demise.
  1366.
1367. Even Snarkers Have Standards / Dude Not Funny: Along with Naminé, called Lukgar Revak out on being insensitive about Greg's father's death.
  1368.
1369. Give Me A Keyblade: Gives his Oblivion to Sora on occasion.
  1370.
1371. Our Hero Is Dead: With Sora in The War of Heaven and Hell.
  1372.
1373. Relationship Upgrade: Averted thus far, unlike Sora and Kairi. He and Naminé play off more as good friends than a couple.
  1374.
1375. Shipper On Deck: Then again, who can't see Sora and Kairi?
  1376.
1377. Silent Snarker: He is a counterpart, after all.
  1378.
1379. The Smart Guy: Shared this position with Naminé in the quartet.
  1380.
1381. The Soulless: Or Is He?
  1382.
1383. Take Up My Keyblade: To Kairi in The Interference. See her Brick Joke for how it carries out.
  1384.
1385. Talking To Themself: To Sora. Counterpart, after all.
  1386.
1387. Tomato In The Mirror: From "Dirge of the Fourteenth". "This...is my diary."
  1388.
1389. Took A Level In Jerkass: Though he's getting better. Also something of a Jerk With A (lack of a) Heart of Gold
  1390.
1391. The Unfought: Usually, people don't actually see him to face in battle. This is only subverted a few times so far, all in Battles in the Center of the Mind.
  1392.
1393. Vitriolic Best Buds: With Sora and Kairi, Type 2.
  1394.
1395. With Friends Like These: To Greg, Kairi, and Sora. Mostly Sora.
  1396.
  1397. =====
  1398.
1399. Also, another list for the Zivaku Family in general. Might as well get to these before we get to individual members.
  1400.
  1401.
1402. Action Girl: Basically every woman in the family is this in some degree.
  1403.
1404. Angels, Devils, and Squids: Not exactly, what with both the angels and demons being good people (at least to a certain degree), but Silent Hill's theology definitely fits into the "Squids" category.
  1405.
1406. Badass Family: All of them who are still alive, in multiple types:
  1407.
1408. Badass Abnormal: Cheryl "Heather" Mason (though she can't control it) and Sain.
  1409.
1410. Badass Adorable: Naito, when he doesn't draw Bunnymoon. Possibly also Yumigami and the other Brush Gods, though that has varying definitions of "adorable."
  1411.
1412. Badass Automaton: K1-R4 and formerly 54-1N. Also, Marathon Eva, an enforced Contagious AI.
  1413.
1414. Badass Cape: Gregory, though his cape just happens to be something he wears rather than being a defining characteristic.
  1415.
1416. Badass Normal: The human Kira does not actually have any powers, but is set to show very high combat prowess.
  1417.
1418. Future Badass: Those futures who are seen. Yes, even the Big Bad of that whole thing counts on his own level.
  1419.
1420. Handicapped Badass: Isaac before his first Deal With The Devil. A Blind Weaponmaster specifically.
  1421.
1422. Heartbroken Badass: The aforementioned human Kira. Kynthia temporarily, and Gregory for a longer period (to his dismay, as he was a Death Seeker at the time).
  1423.
1424. Pregnant Badass: Demi during the War of Heaven and Hell. And how.
  1425.
  1426.
1427. Battle Couple: Including couples being formed, we have Gregory and Kynthia, Naito and Jasmine, Isaac and Cheryl, Sain and Kira, and K1-R4 and 54-1N. As with many other characters, these do not count couples from alternate universes.
  1428.
1429. Big Screwed Up Family: Mostly due to Gregory and Isaac, but there are, to wit, two fratricides (of each other [both recovered]), one patricide, one reincarnation, and, in an actually logical manner for its process, a case of My Own Grandpa that did not involve any incest whatsoever.
  1430.
1431. Determinator: Pretty much all of them will fight to the last breath. It Runs In The Family, or rather In The Blood for the darker future.
  1432.
1433. Fridge Brilliance: How most of the links have worked out.
  1434.
  1435. Our Angels Are Different
  1436.
  1437. Our Demons Are Different
  1438.
1439. Our Ghosts Are Different (two types, three if you count one power)
  1440.
1441. Our Gods Are Greater (at least fourteen of them, taking up two types in total)
  1442.
  1443. Our Robots Are Nonstandard
  1444.
  1445.
1446. Sibling Yin Yang: For siblings thus far. Depending on whether or not the person for whom Naito's sister Nótt decides to take her as a character, this could apply to her as well.
  1447.
1448. Tangled Family Tree: Though not nearly as bad as people tend to make it out to be, this family is drawn out in three dimensions, including all manner of spiritual or otherwise theological creatures, artificial intelligences, one genetic experiment, and a few humans. The main cause for confusion tends to be time travel.
  1449.
1450. Thicker Than Water: More-so recently in some cases, though others are still trying to find a way to deal with their own troubles first. Some are forming alliances specifically so as to help the family survive.
  1451.
  1452. =====
  1453.
  1454. Zero Tropes
  1455.
  1456.
1457. The Ageless: Naturally, comes with being a robot.
  1458.
1459. Anti Anti Christ: Once he found out that he was created by Wily, he tries even harder to defy that legacy.
  1460.
  1461. Anti-Hero: Type III
  1462.
1463. Asskicking Equals Authority: Double Subverted, as he is one of the two Master Assassins among the InterAssassins, (the other being Cetea T'Zumo) but is still below Azumi, who is the Grandmaster, and wouldn't take the position unless absolutely necessary, anyways.
  1464.
1465. The Atoner: For Wily’s legacy, his spreading of the Maverick Virus (particularly after Kira was infected), and it essentially being his fault that Sigma, Omega, and Wily’s consciences were revived through said virus.
  1466.
1467. Badass: Has been considered as such by the fanbase since his first appearance in the X series. I try to live up to that reputation as much as possible.
  1468.
  1469. Badass Automaton
  1470.
1471. Badass Creed: "I never cared about justice, and I don't recall ever calling myself a hero. I've always only fought for the people I believe in. I won't hesitate... If an enemy appears in front of me, I will destroy it!", as a personal one, as well as the Assassin’s Creed and the Three Laws of Robotics, to a lesser extent.
  1472.
1473. Badass in Charge: One of the Master Assassins of the interAssassins.
  1474.
1475. Badass Longrobe: The cloak given to him by Yen Side, which in itself is similar to the he is seen wearing in the intro the Megaman Zero 2
  1476.
1477. Badass Longhair: The one and only.
  1478.
  1479. Bishonen: Like whoa.
  1480.
1481. Brought to You by the Letter “S”: His Ki-Knuckle weapons have blue, glowing Ks on the knuckles.
  1482.
1483. Captain Smooth: To Azumi's Sergeant Rough, despite being a lower rank than her.
  1484.
1485. Charged Attack: With both his Z-Saber and Buster Shot/Z-Buster.
  1486.
1487. Chick Magnet: More than one person has been seen to be attracted to him in some way across the series’.
  1488.
1489. The Coats Are Off: He often tosses his cloak off when entering battle, where it is then stored in an etherspace portal directly behind him for safekeeping.
  1490.
1491. Commanding Coolness: He was a commander of his own unit in the Maverick Hunters, and also like a commander, is second behind Azumi in the InterAssassins.
  1492.
  1493. Determinator: Oh yes.
  1494.
1495. Double Jump: His Kuuenbu technique allows him to do this.
  1496.
1497. Dude Looks Like a Lady: Gregory Zivaku even mistook him for a woman upon meeting him.
  1498.
1499. Everything is Better With Spinning: The Kuuezan attack, a rolling mid-air slash.
  1500.
1501. Famed in Story: Among the Interferences that know of him.
  1502.
1503. Flaming Sword: His Ryuenjin attack.
  1504.
1505. Fusion Dance: With Kira to form KZ, a form based off of those from the Megaman ZX series, and thus has the abilities of both characters.
  1506.
1507. Good is Not Nice: Type 3
  1508.
1509. Hair of Gold: Of course.
  1510.
1511. Heroes Prefer Swords: While he uses the Buster Shot Gun, he mainly defers to the Z-Saber as
  1512. his main weapon.
  1513.
1514. Humans Are Bastards/Humans Are Special: Zero is well aware that there can be both good and bad humans, and is not hesitate to fight and label the bad ones Mavericks. However, he also believes that the good in them outweighs the bad.
  1515.
1516. I’m not a Hero, I’m…: He doesn’t believe he’s a hero, only that he does what he thinks is right.
  1517.
1518. Katanas Are Just Better: While his Z-Saber doesn’t look like one (it uses the triangular appearance from the Zero series), his fighting style is based off of Eastern sword fighting.
  1519.
1520. Kill it With Ice: His Hyouretsuzan attack
  1521.
1522. Kubrick Stare: A rare good guy variant, and usually only when angered.
  1523.
  1524. Laser Blade: The Z-Saber.
  1525.
1526. Mega Manning: He gained his Command Arts from defeating Maverick Generals, and obtaining the elemental orbs they carried.
  1527.
1528. Multi Melee Master: Although all of his weapons other than the Z-Saber and Buster Shot were lost in the fight on Ragnarok, he is proficient in using many different weapons.
  1529.
1530. My Hero Zero: But don't call him a hero.
  1531.
1532. One-Man Army: He most likely ranks among the most powerful Interferences, and he’s definitely proven as much in his own series.
  1533.
1534. Perpetual Frowner: I have not once written him smiling.
  1535.
1536. Person of Mass Destruction: Naturally, having been designed by Wily.
  1537.
1538. Pillar of Light combined with Beam Spam: Rekkoha, an attack that causes a rain of the aforementioned pillars to rain over a small, circular area, and Zero’s most powerful and energy consuming attack.
  1539.
1540. Psychic Link: A growing one with Kira, due to KZ.
  1541.
1542. Rapunzel Hair: And wears it with style.
  1543.
1544. Ridiculously Human Robot: The entire point of Reploids, really.
  1545.
1546. Really 700 Years Old: Naturally ageless due to being a robot, and is arguably the Megaman who has lived the longest, even if his canonical death in Z4 had carried through.
  1547.
1548. Ronin: Going along with the Samurai metaphor, he was formerly this before joining the InterAssassins. Many jokes are had about how Azumi is now his 'master'.
  1549.
1550. Samurai: As a character, Zero definitely seems to be modeled after one. He uses a sword when most other characters in the series used guns of some sort, his personal cod of honor is very similar to the bushido, and even his armor appears similarly to a samurai’s, with it’s somewhat demonic appearance.
  1551.
1552. Shock and Awe: The Raijingeki attack.
  1553.
1554. Sliding Scale of Robot Intelligence: Mostly an Average Joe Android. He has to learn things like a human, but can do so much faster and has been around long enough to learn a lot. His incredible adaptability also helps with this. However, there can be something said to him being closer to a Nobel-Bot due to his ability to feel emotion and think for himself, like all Reploids.
  1555.
1556. Spin to Deflect Stuff: The Shield Boomerang really, as indicated by official artworks, is just him spinning the Z-Saber extremely fast.
  1557.
1558. The Spock: To Azumi's Kirk and Cetea's McCoy.
  1559.
1560. The Stoic: Very, very much.
  1561.
  1562. Stoic Woobie
  1563.
1564. Three Laws Compliant: Played with. He keeps the Laws as moral guidelines of sorts, but is able to and will break them when necessary, and can fall back to the Zeroth Law. The only Law he actively disobeys is the second. Unless the human is his commanding officer, such as Azumi Ian, he follows his own orders.
  1565.
1566. Vitrolic Best Buds: Type 2 with Kira.
  1567.
  1568. =====
  1569.
  1570. Damien Tropes
  1571.
1572. Ditzy Genius: He is very intelligent, but is incredibly socially inept.
  1573.
  1574. Bookworm: Very much.
  1575.
1576. Badass Bookworm: His very abilities come from his books and, given time, he'll know how to use them.
  1577.
1578. Cute Bookworm: A male variant.
  1579.
  1580. Specs of Awesome
  1581.
1582. The Short Guy With The Glasses
  1583.
1584. Absent-Minded Professor: Acts like this, despite his age.
  1585.
1586. Cute Shotaro Boy: And it'll only get worse over time.
  1587.
1588. Cowardly Lion: He does have moments of bravery and heroism, they're just outweighed by his more timid nature.
  1589.
1590. Cower Power: He doesn't pretend to be very brave, nor does he believe himself to be an adventurer.
  1591.
1592. Expy: He acts rather like Artemis Fowl around people he doesn't know, but around people he's more open to, he's more similar to the Eleventh Doctor.
  1593.
1594. Hyper Awareness: Can gain this through use of his Sherlock Holmes book.
  1595.
1596. Loony Friends Improve Your Personality: Damien will be more open to people and reveal his true personality the longer he's around them. This personality turns out to be... quite eccentric.
  1597.
  1598. Nerd: Yes.
  1599.
1600. Sesquipedalian Loquaciousness: He often uses a larger vocabulary than most, particularly when excited or panicked.
  1601.
1602. Sherlock Scan: Can do this with the help of his Sherlock Holmes book.
  1603.
1604. Smart People Play Chess: A folding chess set is among the items in his satchel.
  1605.
1606. Insufferable Genius: Will be Subverted eventually.
  1607.
1608. Intelligence Equals Isolation: how he was treated in the real world.
  1609.
1610. Smart People Wear Glasses: And also to see.
  1611.
  1612. The Smart Guy: Naturally.
  1613.
1614. The Spock: In pretty much any team
  1615.
1616. Super Speed Reading: Due to reading books so much, he can read quite fast.
  1617.
  1618. Adorkable: So much.
  1619.
1620. Motor Mouth: When excited or trying very hard to figure something out.
  1621.
  1622. =====
  1623.
  1624. Now time for Kira.
  1625.
  1626.
1627. Absurdly Youthful Mother: Justified and subverted at the same time.
  1628.
1629. Action Girl: Subverted, actually. She can fight, but almost never does, and isn't nearly as competent as most others. She almost always survives through hiding and the fact that people generally can't hurt her.
  1630.
  1631. Action Survivor
  1632.
1633. Action Mom: Sort of, though she doesn't really act it.
  1634.
1635. AI Is A Crapshoot: Her false rampancy. There's also the likelihood that she will go through a real version.
  1636.
1637. And I Must Scream: What she did to Sigma and Marathon Eva. They really deserved it.
  1638.
  1639. Anti Heroine: Type 3.
  1640.
  1641. Artificial Intelligence
  1642.
1643. Awesomeness By Analysis: Comes with the AI territory.
  1644.
1645. Badass Automaton: Kind of, but mostly an Action Survivor.
  1646.
1647. Badass Bookworm: To a degree. More Bookworm than Badass.
  1648.
1649. Being Tortured Makes You Evil: Or at least undergo a false Rampant state.
  1650.
1651. The Bechdel Test: More or less doesn't have any problems with it, considering she's both a widow and not searching. If she does talk about romance, it's in cynical tones.
  1652.
1653. Bizarre Alien Biology: Looks, sounds, and acts human mostly, but has no blood (aside from possible leaking code) and experiences wounds as just broken code.
  1654.
1655. Bloodless Carnage: Constantly. As per Tron: Legacy rules, she has no blood.
  1656.
1657. Body Horror: Her scarred form before she was purge of the infections for one, the decapitation for another, and her vomiting up the various viruses for a third.
  1658.
1659. Brain Uploading: How she was formed. The brain itself did not survive the Cognitive Impresssion Modeling.
  1660.
  1661. Brainy Brunette
  1662.
1663. Break The Cutie / Break The Haughty: Initially the former, more recently the latter.
  1664.
1665. The Cracker: A heroic example.
  1666.
1667. Cyberspace: Where she typically resides in one form or another.
  1668.
  1669. The Cynic
  1670.
1671. Dark And Troubled Past: Delved into partially in "The Game Has Changed".
  1672.
1673. Defrosting Ice Queen: Nonromantic and in progress.
  1674.
1675. Demonic Possession: Sigma does this to her to create new Maverick Generals from Megaman X1. Also Omega for Megamodel KO. She got her payback.
  1676.
1677. Determined Widow: Her "husband", 54-1N, is dead.
  1678.
1679. Digital Avatar: How she manifests. She is aware that she can always change it, but doesn't care to.
  1680.
1681. Distinguishing Mark: Her Forerunner glyph on her left eye, and the "Ω" on her wrist. There is also the tattoo of an ISO on her arm. The former two are some form of Power Tattoo.
  1682.
1683. Do Androids Dream?: Avoided, since even I don't know if she had a soul. She did get a spare from Death, though, so that's solved.
  1684.
1685. Evil Counterpart: Marathon Eva can be seen as one of these and a Shadow Archetype.
  1686.
1687. Expy: Began as something of one to Cortana and to a degree Serina of the Halo series. Has gained some characteristics of Quorra of Tron: Legacy as well.
  1688.
1689. Fantastic Racism: A victim in certain universes. Being an ISO now does not help.
  1690.
1691. Fusion Dance: With Zero in KZ form.
  1692.
1693. Gadgeteer Genius: Has shown the ability to make much anything as long as she has enough voxels to work with, a schematic, and enough time.
  1694.
1695. Good Is Not Nice: Almost ever.
  1696.
1697. Grappling Hook Pistol: The "Cable" of her Baton.
  1698.
1699. Hacker Cave: Space Paranoids, specifically the Central Computer Core...sort of.
  1700.
1701. Handguns: Her Poisoned Weapon, the Virus_PSTL.arm.
  1702.
1703. Hot Chick In A Badass Suit: Not that anyone calls her attractive, but the attire is there.
  1704.
1705. Human Aliens: See Bizarre Alien Biology.
  1706.
  1707. Icy Blue Eyes
  1708.
1709. Insufferable Genius: Not exactly, as she doesn't flaunt her intelligence, but she does get irritated and believes she is often Surrounded By Idiots.
  1710.
  1711. Iron Lady
  1712.
1713. Jerk Justifications: A mild form of Type 1 with aspects of Type 3 in it.
  1714.
1715. Jerkass Woobie: Especially once you get to understand why she does what she does in "The Game Has Changed", especially in the Melancholia portion.
  1716.
1717. Knight In Sour Armor: She may be grudging about it, but she does actually try to help heroes.
  1718.
  1719. Kuudere: Nonromantic.
  1720.
1721. Lampshade Hanging: Frequently, both on how weird things are and on actual viewer reactions.
  1722.
1723. Laser Blade: The "Sword" of her Baton, also an example of Katanas Are Just Better. Also visible on her "Staff" formation, a Blade On A Stick.
  1724.
1725. Last Name Basis: With most people, though she does specify within her own family more.
  1726.
1727. Last Of Her Kind: Sort of. Naito is still a product of members of it, but she is the only remaining Interference in the prime Interverse who remembers and was a part of the original "Dark Future".
  1728.
1729. Leet Lingo: Used in her name.
  1730.
1731. Loves The Sound Of Screaming: The Marshall Firewall, in line with its verbal associations with the Machin Shin of The Wheel of Time.
  1732.
1733. Magic Tool: One function of her Baton.
  1734.
1735. Magical Database: One of her primary functions.
  1736.
1737. Mega Manning: How she used to get her skills. See Powers As Programs.
  1738.
1739. Me's A Crowd: Can make imperfect, non sentient copies of herself for distraction or maintenance.
  1740.
1741. Mind Rape: By Marathon Eva, the Marshall Firewall, Sigma, and the Gravemind. The latter actually may dip into Rape As Drama, given the mechanics of the thing.
  1742.
1743. Morph Weapon: Another function of her Baton.
  1744.
1745. My Sensors Indicate You Want To Tap That: Sometimes makes these gags about her hosts, considering she can monitor their vitals and see when their temperature rises.
  1746.
1747. Names The Same: She is not the Death Note serial killer.
  1748.
  1749. Non Action Snarker: Generally.
  1750.
1751. Off With Her Head: Once. Due to her messed up coding, she survived and attacked anyway.
  1752.
1753. Only Known By Her Nickname: It is very rare that anyone calls her anything but "Kira".
  1754.
1755. Playful Hacker: Not exactly "playful", but fits the bill. As the Gravemind told her, for her, "knowledge is [her] drug."
  1756.
  1757. Powers As Programs: Literally.
  1758.
1759. Projected Woman: How she normally manifests, seeing as she cannot interact physically with the organic world.
  1760.
1761. Psychic Link: A growing one with Zero.
  1762.
1763. Rage Against the Heavens: Sometimes, but her Rage Against The Makers is more downplayed when she's feeling alright, and has dissipated more with her new soul.
  1764.
1765. Rapid-Fire Typing: When she actually types. She also uses other methods of computer manipulation, but leans on the side of "very fast". Being able to do billions of operations at the same time helps, as well as that she really doesn't have anything else to do.
  1766.
1767. Reality Warper: Small scale due to Cyber Magic.
  1768.
1769. Red Baron: Ghost of the Machine
  1770.
1771. Robot Girl: Well, Artificial Intelligence Girl.
  1772.
1773. Sarcastic Devotee: Often. In extreme cases, delves into the Sour Supporter.
  1774.
1775. Science Heroine: Considering she usually doesn't have a physical body, she generally opts to help through technology or information.
  1776.
1777. Second Law My Ass: So much.
  1778.
1779. Shining Midnight Black: Technically also Raven Hair, Ivory Skin, but can change her form at will.
  1780.
1781. Shock And Awe: Some of her Cyber Magic amounts to this.
  1782.
1783. Sliding Scale of Robot Intelligence: Nobel Bot
  1784.
1785. The Snark Knight: See Knight In Sour Armor.
  1786.
1787. Spaceship Girl: To the Redemption, mostly.
  1788.
  1789. Stat O Vision: Sometimes.
  1790.
  1791. Stepford Snarker
  1792.
  1793. Super Mode: MegaModel KZ.
  1794.
1795. Super Speed Reading: Um...she's a computer. She looks at it and she knows it.
  1796.
1797. Suppressed Rage: She has to, since she wants to avoid rampancy.
  1798.
  1799. Technopath
  1800.
1801. Threshold Guardian: Of the Cool Gate that is the Space Paranoids Portal.
  1802.
1803. Took A Level In Kindness: It's a slow process, but she's doing it.
  1804.
  1805. Tsunshun
  1806.
1807. Unknown Rival: To Ernest Marshall, who doesn't seem to think much of her, let alone that she's still active.
  1808.
1809. Unusual User Interface: Generally uses summonable Holographic Terminals.
  1810.
1811. Vitriolic Best Buds: Really, the best you can ask from her most times, a Type 2. She is this with at least Azumi Ian and Zero.
  1812.
1813. Virtual Ghost: For an alternate, future version of Greg and Isaac's mom, Kira Zivaku.
  1814.
1815. Voices Are Mental: Justified, as she is changing her "outer coating" when she alters her avatar, not any internal coding.
  1816.
1817. Voice With An Internet Connection: Very often, this is her role.
  1818.
1819. Voluntary Shapeshifting: Can change the form of her avatar at will, albeit keeping her scars and signature markings. Still, remains female and physically human at all times, and her voice never changes. Also, she cannot use this to create weapons or the like. Still, it is a reason why she does not care about personal appearance much in terms of AIs.
  1820.
1821. Vomit Indiscretion Shot: Egesting the Marathon Eva and Marshall Firewall infections. Also from the eyes, nose, and ears. Coupled with screaming.
  1822.
1823. Was Once A Woman: A long time ago. She doesn't mind that much, and it isn't played for horror or anything.
  1824.
1825. Wrench Wench: To be fair, it's sort of literally in the programming.
  1826.
1827. You Are Number Six: Designation ZIV-1215-4.
  1828.
1829. Younger Than They Look: Chronologically, she is twelve years old (though that is five years older than the average UNSC AI). She still looks like she's in her twenties, and acts like she's in her thirties or forties.
  1830.
  1831. =====
  1832.
  1833. Naomi Tropes
  1834.
1835. Action Girl: Very much so.
  1836.
1837. All The of Other Reindeer: She was tormented by her classmates at the Firebending, mainly because she was a street urchin who had to pay her way into the academy.
  1838.
  1839. Amber Eyes
  1840.
1841. Arrogant Kung-Fu Girl: She’s incredibly good at Firebending, but is also rude and has an ego.
  1842.
1843. Attack! Attack! Attack!: She isn’t much for the concepts of “defense” or “running”.
  1844.
1845. The Berserker: Her fighting style has practically no trace of defense.
  1846.
1847. Boyish Short Hair: In a Bob Haircut style.
  1848.
1849. Burning with Anger: Mild Bell Pepper
  1850.
1851. Cool Pet: Chau, a baby dragon.
  1852.
  1853. The Cynic
  1854.
1855. Deadpan Snarker: Less so than others, but still prevalent.
  1856.
1857. Don’t You Dare Pity Me!: Hates being ‘pitied’, even if the person is genuinely trying to help.
  1858.
1859. Fearless Fool: She’s more likely to challenge something she’s afraid of to a fight then back down, despite it not always being the best choice.
  1860.
1861. Fireballs: Able to make them with her Firebending.
  1862.
1863. Girls Love Stuffed Animals: As a young child, she collected many and gave them funny names. Although she may still have one or two hidden away…
  1864.
1865. Hair-Trigger Temper: She is very easily angered.
  1866.
  1867. Handwraps of Awesome
  1868.
1869. Harmless Electrocution: Averted; messing up Lightningbending can have harmful, even fatal, repercussions.
  1870.
  1871. Hot Blooded
  1872.
1873. Instant Awesome, Just Add Dragons: She thinks so.
  1874.
1875. Kill it With Fire: Her whole shtick.
  1876.
1877. Kung-Fu Wizard: Her Firebending is both supernatural and grounded in realistic martial arts.
  1878.
  1879. The Lad-ette: So much.
  1880.
1881. Martial Arts Do Not Work That Way: Averted; Bending is based off of real martial arts. It is still awesome, though.
  1882.
1883. Nobody Calls Me Chicken: She absolutely hates being called cowardly.
  1884.
1885. One of the Boys: Accepted as such by the street urchins she used to live with and probably among Interferences as well.
  1886.
  1887. Personality Powers
  1888.
1889. Playing With Fire: She's a fire bender, and naturally uses fire a lot.
  1890.
1891. The Power of the Sun: Firebending is much weaker at night, due to its connection with the sun.
  1892.
1893. Pyromaniac: Although it’ll be toned down in the future, she really, really likes fire.
  1894.
1895. Real Women Don’t Wear Dresses: Her belief, anyways.
  1896.
1897. Rebellious Spirit: She hates being restricted by rules, although she’ll learn to tolerate them more later on.
  1898.
1899. Shock and Awe: She has the rare (although it’s looking much less as of The Legend of Korra) ability to bend lightning.
  1900.
1901. Small Name, Big Ego: Upholds the belief that she is one of the best Firebenders ever.
  1902.
1903. Supernatural Martial Arts: Her Firebending, of course.
  1904.
  1905. Trash Talk: A master.
  1906.
  1907. Tsundere: Type A.
  1908.
1909. Unstoppable Rage: Her anger does add power to her Firebending, although she will learn that using her rage to power it entirely is not the best way.
  1910.
1911. Yellow Lightning, Blue Lightning: Lightningbending is blue.
  1912.
  1913. =====
  1914.
1915. Might as well begin one for Ashes of Arkham. Might do ones for other fanfics, but this one will be updated as chapters are added.
  1916.
1917. First for the fic as a whole.
  1918.
1919. Action Girl: Azumi and Jessica.
  1920.
1921. All Webbed Up: Um...Spider Man is involved. Do you expect something else?
  1922.
1923. Alternative Character Interpretation: The Arkhamverse!Batman is noticeabley more brutal than his DCAU counterpart. However, this is more on the creator's part than ours.
  1924.
1925. Animal Themed Superbeing: Do we even have to say?
  1926.
1927. Anti Hero: Spiderman is, as per usual, Type I, though it's not played that much. DCAU!Batman is a Type II. Azumi, Jessica, Arkham!Batman and to a degree Catwoman are Type IIIs.
  1928.
1929. Anti Villain: What Catwoman isn't as a Type III Anti Hero she is as a Type I of this.
  1930.
1931. Armor Is Useless: Played with. It's not always that great, but it does save those who have it from life-threatening injuries usually.
  1932.
1933. Bad Boss: Several, but Oswald "Penguin" Cobblepot is the most prominent.
  1934.
1935. Badass: Basically the entire protagonist ensemble, both canon and not.
  1936.
1937. Badass Abnormal: Scarecrow, as per normal now.
  1938.
1939. Badass Bookworm: Peter "Spider Man" Parker.
  1940.
  1941. Badass Normal: DCAU!Batman, Arkhamverse!Batman, Arkhamverse!Catwoman, Arkhamverse!Talia al-Ghul, and Azumi Ian.
  1942.
1943. Batman Gambit: One is in action, yes, but it isn't by the Trope Namers. It's by Azumi, on top of more of a Gambit Pileup than the original game.
  1944.
1945. Blade Below The Shoulder: Azrael has a Flaming Sword version of a detachable wrist-mounted one, which Azumi copies the schematics of. Azumi herself has a nonlethal version of this in her omnitool, though.
  1946.
1947. Building Swing: Jessica, Catwoman, the Batmen, and Spiderman all do this.
  1948.
1949. Bunny Ears Lawyer: Catwoman, to Jessica's Straight Woman.
  1950.
1951. Caltrops: In Selina Kyle's arsenal, and shifts to be included in Jessica's as well.
  1952.
1953. Catgirl: Selina "Catwoman" Kyle and Jessica Mireu, in motif and literally respectively.
  1954.
1955. Classy Cat Burglar: Selina again.
  1956.
1957. Cool Sword: Wraith's high-frequency stun wakizashi, Talia al-Ghul's katana, and Jessica's Trench Blade rapier.
  1958.
1959. Crapsack World: When you're in the Arkhamverse, you know that, at minimum, you will end up with many more bruises than you are used to.
  1960.
  1961. Dark Action Girl: Catwoman.
  1962.
1963. Deadpan Snarker: Many, from Alfred Pennyworth to A.L.F.R.E.D. to Arkhamverse!Batman to Azumi to Catwoman to Spiderman.
  1964.
1965. The Dreaded: The Batmen and Scarecrow at least.
  1966.
1967. Eccentric Mentor: Catwoman for Jess. It's downplayed, she she's not old nor foolish, but she does have her seduction quirk while she's trying to teach Jess.
  1968.
  1969. Femme Fatale: Again Catwoman.
  1970.
1971. Find The Cure: A large part of the main plot, less relevant, but still somewhat important here.
  1972.
1973. Fish Out of Water: Jessica, in a sense.
  1974.
1975. Funny Background Event: As per the game itself, the thug conversations play out this way.
  1976.
1977. Goggles Do Something Unusual: Detective Vision, Helmet Mounted Displays, VISR, and Thief Vision.
  1978.
1979. Healing Factor: To a weird degree, everyone. Health is awarded with EXP, so the better you fight, the more you heal faster. It's in the world mechanics, so Badass Normals are still Badass Normals, though extra-universal healing items still do work and are present.
  1980.
1981. Hey, it's That Voice!: In-universe. Kevin Conroy voices both Batmen, and Grey DeLisle voices both Catwoman and Azumi.
  1982.
1983. Jack Bauer Interrogation Technique: More or less by Azumi and the Batmen, though they don't actually give the pain, so the truthful answer is more justified as being out of fear rather than pain.
  1984.
1985. Le Parkour: How Azumi traverses the city, lacking any other methods.
  1986.
1987. Les Yay: Played for laughs. Catwoman teases Jessica about her looks, and Jessica has a hard time not looking at Selina's swinging behind.
  1988.
1989. Lighter And Softer: Than the game itself. Very, very slightly.
  1990.
1991. Massively Multiplayer Crossover: Of a sort. This is the most people working together on a fic, let along individual chapters, that has happened thus far.
  1992.
1993. Monster Clown: Aside from the Joker, his entire gang evokes this.
  1994.
1995. Mr. Exposition: Michael Washington Lane, the Arkhamverse version of Azrael. Several others give exposition, but that is his main purpose. He remains a Mysterious Benefactor and Mysterious Watcher, however.
  1996.
1997. Ms. Fanservice: Selina Kyle revels in this position in order to leave her opponents Distracted By The Sexy when in open combat. Jessica is not amused.
  1998.
1999. Mythology Gag/Continuity Nod: Many to Batman history and villains, not to mention Spider Man's own universe. The Continuity Nods are harder to spot, but based within Arkham Asylum, the previous game.
  2000.
  2001. Noble Demon: Catwoman.
  2002.
2003. The Other Darrin: A meta example. Adri is writing for Sorin's Jessica in this, though what she's doing is in the canon from the point of this on.
  2004.
2005. Playing Both Sides: Playing all sides in the case of Azumi, though she's really just on the heroes'.
  2006.
2007. Playing With Fire: Jess's magic is a mix of this and Light Em Up, though primarily this.
  2008.
2009. Race Against The Clock: Azumi and the Batmen are trying to find out what Protocol 10 is before it is too late.
  2010.
2011. Secret Identity: Aside from the normal ones from the DCU variants, we have "Wraith" being adopted for for the first time by Azumi.
  2012.
2013. Sexy Mentor: Catwoman for Jess, and proud of it.
  2014.
2015. She Fu: Catwoman's fighting style, combined with Dance Battler.
  2016.
2017. Smoke Out: Utilized by Azrael, Wraith, and both Batmen. When the smoke is up, mooks invariably miss with guns.
  2018.
2019. Spanner In The Works: Various, but the key one aside from the canonical Catwoman is Azumi/Wraith, who completely Out Gambits Scarecrow and robs him of any kind of alliance with the major players in Arkham City's turf wars proper.
  2020.
2021. Spy Catsuit: Catwoman has one, which has many similarities to one that Azumi had to wear, triggering bad memories and in-universe Unfortunate Implications for her and Jess.
  2022.
2023. The Tease: Catwoman, to Jessica's chagrin.
  2024.
2025. Teeth Gritted Teamwork: Azumi's partnerships with Scarecrow and Jessica both.
  2026.
2027. The Password Is Always Swordfish: If there is a password, most times it will be rather obvious. This is sometimes lampshaded.
  2028.
2029. Troll: Edward "the Riddler" Nigma at your service.
  2030.
  2031. Villainous Harlequin: Harley Quinn.
  2032.
2033. Volleying Insults: Azumi and Scarecrow. Constantly.
  2034.
2035. Whip It Good: The cat girl duo, both a whip and bolas for both by the end.
  2036.
2037. Wolverine Claws: Catwoman has these on her gloves, though not a lot of attention is drawn to them.
  2038.
  2039. ---
  2040. Prologue
  2041.
2042. Batman Cold Open: As per the opening of the game itself, though there are two in it this time.
  2043.
  2044. Click Hello: The cliffhanger.
  2045.
2046. Embarrassing Nickname: "Catgirl" for Jessica, taking from the alias of the sidekick of Catwoman of New Earth of the DCU itself.
  2047.
2048. Lovely Angels/Sword and Sorcerer: Kyle and Mireu begin a variant of these kinds of partnerships here.
  2049.
2050. Unusually Uninteresting Sight: Catwoman isn't that alarmed by Jess's looks, and up-front says she probably should have expected that eventually. Granted, she's from the DCU, and is friends with a Plant Person.
  2051.
  2052.
  2053. Chapter 1
  2054.
2055. Acid Pool: What Two-Face was going to drop Catwoman and Jess into.
  2056.
2057. Admiring The Abomination: In a sense inverted. Scarecrow is in awe of Batman's ability to beat the living crap out of people... like he had done to Crane himself. More than once.
  2058.
2059. Badass In Distress: Jessica and Catwoman, subjected to a Joker Jury at the hands of Two-Face. They break themselves out.
  2060.
2061. Black and White Insanity: Harvey "Two-Face" Dent himself.
  2062.
2063. Curb Stomp Battle: Arkham!Batman vs. Two-Face's goons. It's barely even described.
  2064.
2065. Eye Scream: Catwoman slashes Dent's scarred side's eye.
  2066.
2067. Faux Affably Evil: Julian Gregory "Calendar Man" Day rather politely tells Azumi about how he strangled a woman on Valentine's Day. Charming.
  2068.
2069. Groin Attack: Twice from the cat girls.
  2070.
2071. The Man In The Mirror Talks Back: Two-Face's two halves are identified separately.
  2072.
2073. Numerical Motif: Dent and twos, as Crane draws attention to.
  2074.
2075. Save The Villain: Azumi to Two-Face. Sort of.
  2076.
  2077. Split Personality: Dent again.
  2078.
  2079. Stealth Hi/Bye: The Cliffhanger.
  2080.
2081. Stealth Insult/Genius Bonus: Azumi leaves a swear instead of an actual radio frequency, coded in alphanumeric substitution.
  2082.
2083. Two Faced: The Trope Namer himself.
  2084.
2085. You Got Guts: Why Catwoman has Jess be her student, since they aren't really that different in some ways.
  2086.
  2087. ---
  2088. Chapter 2
  2089.
2090. Ax Crazy: Spiderman agrees that Zsasz is as crazy as the host of Carnage-616.
  2091.
2092. Bad Liar: Zsasz's Motive Rant isn't particularly convincing, just crazy.
  2093.
2094. Batman Cold Open: Taken to its literal extreme. (Okay, I'm sorry.)
  2095.
2096. Covered in Scars: Victor Zsasz. One tally mark for each kill.
  2097.
2098. Enemy Mine: Between DCAU!Batman and Bane in order to take out containers of Titan, six for each of them.
  2099.
2100. Evil Phone: Zsasz's mission revolves around these.
  2101.
2102. Fan Disservice: Nobody wants to see you shirtless, Zsasz.
  2103.
2104. Good Scars, Evil Scars: See Covered in Scars.
  2105.
  2106. Knife Nut: Zsasz again.
  2107.
2108. Motive Rant: A particularly disturbing one given by Zsasz.
  2109.
2110. Second Episode New Character: DCAU!Batman and Spiderman didn't show up in previous chapters at all.
  2111.
  2112. Serial Killer: Zsasz again.
  2113.
  2114. Soft-Spoken Sadist: Victor Zsasz.
  2115.
2116. Stealth-Based Mission: Spidey's takedown of Zsasz, which utilizes methods not available to Batman, like the Wall Crawl.
  2117.
2118. The Watson: Seems to be one of A.L.F.R.E.D.'s primary purposes here, so as to help explain the plot to people who are less informed.
  2119.
2120. We Have Reserves: Oswald "Penguin" Cobblepot leaves his own men on Joker's side of the city to keep Batman from reaching him easily.
  2121.
  2122. ---
  2123. Chapter 3
  2124.
2125. Berserk Button: Selina trying to avoid Poison Ivy's is why she asks Jessica not to travel to her place with her, since her Lightning magic would probably burn her plants.
  2126.
2127. Ceiling Cling: Catwoman teaches Jessica how to do this for stealthy movement.
  2128.
2129. Fetish Fuel: In-universe, Catwoman draws attention to how Jess's boyfriend (Will) must "like how good she is with her whip."
  2130.
2131. Hey, You! Haymaker: Jess does this with a bola at long range before jumping into a fray alone at the end of the chapter.
  2132.
2133. It Was A Gift: Catwoman gives Jess copies of all of her equipment except her whip (which is unnecessary due to Ribbon) and her catsuit (though not for lack of trying), including her bolas, caltrops, and Thief Vision goggles, just because she thinks that she'll find them useful.
  2134.
2135. Let's Split Up, Gang: Justified. Catwoman wants to get into the confiscated goods vault and is going to get Poison Ivy, but doesn't want Jessica accidentally invoking Dr. Pamela Isley's wrath by burning her plants.
  2136.
2137. No, Just No Reaction: Jess to being offered a copy of Selina's Spy Catsuit.
  2138.
  2139. ---
  2140. Chapter 4
  2141.
2142. Ain't No Rule: How Scarecrow takes down the Riddler's scheme.
  2143.
2144. Enemy Mine: Of a sort. Scarecrow leads Arkham!Batman to Riddler's hideouts with signs. It's less to stop Riddler or help Batman than it is to counter-troll Riddler.
  2145.
2146. He's Back: Scarecrow is back home. Watch out.
  2147.
2148. Incoming Ham: "The Scarecrow lives!"
  2149.
2150. Mook Horror Show: Played by the master of horror himself.
  2151.
2152. No Fair Cheating: Played for laughs, and with no consequences. Riddler shouts this before being cut off when Scarecrow interrupts his game.
  2153.
2154. Notice This: In universe. Scarecrow puts gigantic, glowing, yellow markings where all of the Riddler rooms are for Batman to find and enter.
  2155.
2156. Playful Hacker: The Riddler taps into Scarecrow's radio just to "chat" with him.
  2157.
2158. Refuge In Audacity: Scarecrow's solution to the Riddler's game.
  2159.
2160. Rule Of Funny: See Refuge in Audacity.
  2161.
2162. Take That: From the Riddler about the Incoming Ham. "The Scarecrow lives, but does he have a life?" Also Hypocritical Humor.
  2163.
  2164. ---
  2165. Chapter 5
  2166.
2167. Boring Insult: Wraith's "The Reason You Suck" Speech amounts to this.
  2168.
2169. Deadline News: Narrowly averted thanks to a rescue mission.
  2170.
2171. Demoted To Extra: Mister Hammer, out of necessity and a lack of importance to the pieces of the plot we are using.
  2172.
2173. Deus Ex Machina: Azumi could not have saved Vicki Vale from the bridge physically due to lacking proper equipment, so Arkhamverse!Batman saves her for her.
  2174.
2175. Domestic Abuse: Heavily implied between Harley and the Joker.
  2176.
2177. Drop the Hammer: Mister Hammer.
  2178.
2179. The Ghost: The Joker and Harley Quinn. Justified in that he is gravely ill and doesn't want anyone to see him, and she is worried about his well-being.
  2180.
2181. Handicapped Badass: "Mister Hammer", the right-armed Abramovici brother, is incredibly strong, but has only one arm.
  2182.
2183. Info Dump: Given by Azrael...if Azumi could actually translate him. She managed it part of the way, and DCAU!Batman helped more, but it's still not quite there.
  2184.
2185. Instant Sedation: Azumi and Jessica being knocked out by the sedatives at the end of the chapter.
  2186.
2187. Nice Hat: A green top hat, which is noticed at one point, becomes important later.
  2188.
2189. Shout Out: The Boring Insult "The Reason You Suck" Speech is a long one to Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker.
  2190.
2191. "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Azumi, using the guise of Wraith, gives one of these to the Joker based on a famous speech given at the end of "Batman Beyond: The Return of the Joker". The temporary Villainous Breakdown is similar, though less direct.
  2192.
2193. Spot The Thread: How Azumi realizes that she's been tricked at the end of the chapter, noticing that Kira doesn't act like Kira.
  2194.
2195. Ungrateful Bastard(Bitch): Regardless of the fact that Jessica helped to save her from the latter's mirror verse counterpart, she still acts as though she is responsible for the unnamed horrors that happened to her. Still, this is justified in that the mirror version had her voice, wore her clothes, had the weapon that the prime version took from her, and looks exactly like her physically. It's just blown out of proportion.
  2196.
  2197. ---
  2198. Chapter 6
  2199.
  2200. A Spot Of Tea: It's his special-tea.
  2201.
2202. Alice In Wonderland: The Mad Hatter's obsession.
  2203.
2204. Astonishingly Appropriate Appearance: The Hatter.
  2205.
2206. Berserk Button: Do not call the Mad Hatter insane.
  2207.
2208. Body Horror: In the Hatter's falling mindscape, the masks he puts on people are a part of their heads.
  2209.
2210. Brainwashed and Crazy: The Mad Hatter's henchmen, and very nearly Azumi and Jessica as well.
  2211.
2212. The Corruptible: Jessica and Azumi, though it's not really their fault due to the drugs they had taken earlier. Scarecrow calls out the latter on this.
  2213.
2214. Depraved Dwarf: Kind of in the case of the Mad Hatter, but he doesn't seem to know what's wrong.
  2215.
2216. Dream Apocalypse: Steadily collapsing as the women fight off the Hatter and his goons, then completely falls apart when Scarecrow invades.
  2217.
2218. Enemy Mine: A non antagonistic example of sorts. Azumi and Jessica do not see eye to eye, but they do work together rather well to fight off the Hatter.
  2219.
2220. Everyone Loves Blondes: Jess's hair color comes as a disadvantage to her.
  2221.
2222. Evil Redhead: The Hatter, though how "villainous" he is is up for grabs.
  2223.
2224. Evil Is Stylish: His suit might not be up to par, but it is rather fancy.
  2225.
2226. Freak Out: Azumi has one at the end of the topic over her powerlessness to stop the mind control on her own.
  2227.
2228. Hair Raising Hare: The white rabbit masks of the Hatter's goons.
  2229.
2230. Heroic BSOD: Azumi has one at the end of the chapter.
  2231.
2232. Gonk: The Hatter is not attractive, no.
  2233.
2234. Heroic Willpower: How Azumi and Jess avoid being brainwashed completely.
  2235.
2236. Hypno Trinket: The Mad Hatter's hats and tea.
  2237.
2238. I Ate What: The Hatter's tea is laced with "ludicrous amounts of psychoactive controls".
  2239.
2240. Incredibly Lame Pun: See A Spot Of Tea.
  2241.
2242. The Mad Hatter: Subverted by Jervis "The Mad Hatter" Tetch. His mental illness is a very touchy subject.
  2243.
2244. Mad Scientist: The Hatter and Scarecrow both, but more the former here.
  2245.
2246. Master Of Illusion: The Hatter and Scarecrow, again.
  2247.
2248. Mind Control Device: The Mad Hatter's hats and tea. The latter is taken by Scarecrow for Dani.
  2249.
2250. Mistaken For Special Guest: A dark take on this in the form of Jess's being mistaken for Alice Lidell of Lewis Carroll's books.
  2251.
2252. Mushroom Samba/Nightmare Sequence: The Mad Hatter's mind control dimension.
  2253.
2254. My Name Is Not Durwood: Jess is not Alice, Jervis. Stop it.
  2255.
2256. Mythology Gag: Scarecrow's appearance in the Dream Apocalypse is that of the Scarebeast from the comics.
  2257.
2258. Nice Hat: The Hatter's top hat.
  2259.
2260. Nightmare Fuel: The whole brainwashing process.
  2261.
2262. No Mister Bond, I Expect You To Dine: The Hatter just wanted the women to have tea with him... forever.
  2263.
2264. Obliviously Evil: The Mad Hatter seems to be this way.
  2265.
2266. One Scene Wonder: Like Zsasz, the Hatter only comes up front in this chapter.
  2267.
2268. Pet The Dog: When DCAU!Batman hears that Azumi had a run in with the Mad Hatter, the first thing he does is ask if she is okay.
  2269.
  2270. Psychopathic Manchild: Jervis Tetch.
  2271.
2272. Red Sky Take Warning: The mind control dimension takes on this when Scarecrow invades.
  2273.
2274. Rhymes On A Dime: The narration during the "break out of brainwashing" sequence.
  2275.
2276. Soundtrack Dissonance: A literary example. As the two women scream and try to escape their blind brainwashing, the format of the writing changes to poetry.
  2277.
2278. Villainous Rescue: Scarecrow saves Azumi and Jessica.
  2279.
2280. Villainous Teleportation: Mad Hatter has this... kind of. It's probably the drugs.
  2281.
2282. Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds: Well, minds, but the Mad Hatter fits.
  2283.
  2284. ---
  2285. Chapter 7
  2286.
2287. Always Close: Intentional. Azumi fires to stop Deadshot at the last possible second just to force his aim off without having to get close.
  2288.
2289. Arm Cannon: Deadshot has two forearm-mounted, silenced, armor-piercing ones. Azumi takes one of the pairs for herself upon victory.
  2290.
2291. Armor Is Useless: Averted. Azumi would be dead if it weren't for several layers of protection.
  2292.
2293. Armor Piercing Attack: Deadshot and Azumi's guns, more the Seeker Rifle in the case of the latter.
  2294.
  2295. Badass Mustache: Deadshot.
  2296.
2297. Battle Trophy: Azumi's requisition of Deadshot's arm guns on one arm is a functional version of this.
  2298.
2299. Berserk Button: Azumi made Deadshot miss his shot. He wasn't happy.
  2300.
2301. Blown Across The Room: Or blown off the roof, anyway, in terms of Azumi's first defeat to Deadshot. Justified in that it wasn't very long, and in gameplay, the gun does the same to someone else.
  2302.
2303. Boss Banter: Deadshot goes on about how unbeatable he is just a bit.
  2304.
2305. The Cameo: Calendar Man at the end.
  2306.
2307. Cliffhanger: Azumi is being trailed by... someone at the end.
  2308.
2309. Deadpan Snarker: Deadshot most prominently.
  2310.
2311. Death Seeker: Deadshot isn't actually actively seeking death. He just doesn't care if he lives or dies.
  2312.
2313. Fashion Victim Villain: Azumi thinks this of any of the villains, but Deadshot in this case.
  2314.
2315. Gun Fu: The Azumi versus Deadshot final fight is essentially a close-range gunfight, albeit realistic and involving them dropping most of their weapons to close combat.
  2316.
2317. Gunpoint Banter: Between Deadshot and Azumi when they confront each other.
  2318.
2319. The Gunslinger: Most prominently Deadshot.
  2320.
2321. Hard Head: Azumi doesn't get a concussion from her impact with concrete. Justified by how she is wearing a helmet and full armor, and she does get knocked out.
  2322.
2323. Improbable Aiming Skills: A staple of Deadshot. The last shot he attempts is through a filled water tower. Also an example of Artistic License: Physics, though he probably did it that way to show Mythbusters off for assuming he couldn't.
  2324.
2325. In Medias Res: Starts in the middle of the Deadshot attack before going to How We Got Here.
  2326.
2327. Irony: Batman is on Deadshot's kill list. He's just going to get to Bruce Wayne first.
  2328.
2329. Mysterious Mercenary Pursuer: Deadshot again.
  2330.
2331. Nietszche Wannabe: His "The Reason You Suck" Speech seems to give that impression.
  2332.
2333. Politically Incorrect Villain: Deadshot, not to mention extremely crude.
  2334.
2335. Porn Stache: Deadshot's classic mustache.
  2336.
2337. "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Deadshot gives one against hope.
  2338.
2339. Shoot Out The Lock: Subverted with Azumi getting into the substation. She uses her Seeker Rifle to shoot the hinges, not the lock, in proper shotgun breaching procedure.
  2340.
2341. Smug Super: Deadshot is rather proud of his skill. Possibly subverted in that he isn't actually super. He's just that good.
  2342.
2343. Shout Out: To Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. "That's my blood. That's my blood, that's a lot of my blood."
  2344.
2345. Shut Up Hannibal: Azumi gives one to Deadshot in response to his "The Reason You Suck" Speech after their fight.
  2346.
2347. Sniper Duel: Between Azumi and Deadshot. Not a long one, though, mostly be necessity of the time span.
  2348.
2349. Sniper Rifle: Azumi's Seeker Rifle and Deadshot's rifle.
  2350.
2351. Stealth Based Mission: The lead up to getting to Deadshot both times.
  2352.
2353. Walking Armory: Deadshot is noted as carrying two handguns, his sniper rifle, and his trademark guns.
  2354.
2355. We Will Meet Again: Deadshot shouts this to Azumi, who isn't there.
  2356.
  2357. ---
  2358. Chapter 8
  2359.
2360. Apocalyptic Log: Sort of in the case of Hush's diary.
  2361.
2362. Badass Longcoat: Hush doesn't get to show it, though.
  2363.
2364. Bandaged Face: Dr. Thomas "Hush" Elliot, at your service.
  2365.
2366. Berserk Button: Hush hits Catwoman's, murdering six people for basically no reason.
  2367.
2368. Big Damn Heroes: Jessica is saved by Catwoman coming in on the high amount of mooks attacking her.
  2369.
2370. Body Horror: The fate of the victims of the Identity Thief, and his new face.
  2371.
2372. Burn Baby Burn: Hush burns the audio tape of himself to secure his new identity.
  2373.
2374. Casual Danger Dialogue: Jessica and Catwoman engage in this during the Multi Mook Melee.
  2375.
2376. Criminal Doppelgänger: Hush, of Bruce Wayne. The voice isn't quite there yet, though.
  2377.
2378. Dramatic Unmask: Hush does this for Catwoman, who is shocked by the look.
  2379.
2380. Evil Former Friend: Hush is one to Bruce Wayne.
  2381.
2382. Face Stealer: As in the game, Hush takes Jane Doe's shtick from the comics here to make his new face instead of going to another surgeon.
  2383.
2384. Freak Out: Jess has one near the end after the entire ordeal involving Hush, but Selina snaps her out of it.
  2385.
2386. Groin Attack: Indirect, but Jessica and Selina tear a man's legs apart like a wishbone, potentially ripping his groin in half in the process, but not killing him.
  2387.
2388. Ironic Nursery Rhyme: Hush sings "Hush Little Baby" as he leaves Catwoman and Jess alone.
  2389.
2390. Jack Bauer Interrogation Technique: How the women get the information on Hush's hideout out of the inmate they find.
  2391.
2392. Les Yay: Jessica does not want to know why Selina smells like sweat, rose petals, and sap after talking with "Pam". The wording was probably intentional on Catwoman's part.
  2393.
2394. Morally Ambiguous Doctorate: Hush is a plastic surgeon. Evil, of course.
  2395.
2396. Mythology Gag: Hush makes a comment about literally taking Catwoman's heart, something he actually does in the comic storyline in which he debuted.
  2397.
2398. The Nose Knows: Catwoman and Jess track down the Cleanup Crew member for Hush to try to find him by using Jessica's olfactory trail of bleach. Later, she uses her other Super Senses to hear the guy.
  2399.
2400. Room Full Of Crazy: Hush lives in one very close to Catwoman's own apartment, which legitimately scares her. It includes an operating table, surgical equipment, and pictures of all of his subjects' faces, not to mention a tape of himself saying his diary for this.
  2401.
2402. Serial Killer: Hush, the Identity Thief.
  2403.
2404. Sharp Dressed Man: Hush has on a nice suit under his trench coat.
  2405.
2406. Shout Out: Catwoman calls Wayne a "billionaire playboy philanthropist". Not a genius, though. Still, she knows her Avengers apparently.
  2407.
  2408. The Sociopath: Hush again.
  2409.
2410. Super Senses: Jessica has all of her senses enhanced, which really shows when she tracks down the mook to interrogate.
  2411.
2412. Tear Off Your Face: Jessica sees a victim of the Identity Thief, and takes off the bandages. It's not pretty.
  2413.
2414. This Cannot Be: Not really, but Catwoman does say this in response to Hush's face.
  2415.
2416. The Unfought: Hush is encountered, but aside from pointing a gun at Jess, he doesn't fight them at all.
  2417.
2418. Perspective Flip: Unlike previous chapters with Jessica and Catwoman, this one is predominantly from the latter's point of view, showing she's not completely flippant about everything.
  2419.
2420. Pet The Dog: Selina shows a lot of concern for Jessica this time around, and is more serious around things, showing that she does care about people.
  2421.
2422. Vader Breath: The main reason Hush's voice differs from Wayne's is that he's still adjusting to the pain of the surgery to get his new face.
  2423.
  2424. ---
  2425. Chapter 9
  2426.
2427. Bi The Way: Joked about by one of the thugs near the end in response to hearing Catwoman "goes both ways" (which really meant she was an antihero/antivillain).
  2428.
2429. Blatant Lies: Azumi lies to Scarecrow about "Wraith" attacking her when it was really Batman who put her in her state. Also, Scarecrow lying about nothing happening with Killer Croc. Only the latter is peeled through.
  2430.
2431. Blood From The Mouth: Azumi has some, but it's not indicative of being near death. Rather, it's indicative of the fact that she was punched in the mouth, and has a cut inside as a result.
  2432.
2433. Dramatic Irony: Scarecrow says that he doubts Azumi has the skills to beat Batman, even though she knows she nearly did a few minutes prior.
  2434.
2435. Enemy Chatter: There's a whole section near the end of the chapter devoted to showing some of the thug conversations.
  2436.
2437. Even Evil Has Standards: Hush agrees with Azumi about Scarecrow not being a scientist and his work being idiotic instead of scientific.
  2438.
2439. Evil Mentor: Scarecrow is revealed to be this to an evil student, namely Hush, though neither of them knew it at the time they were teacher and student.
  2440.
2441. Hannibal Lecture: Azumi listens to one from Strange on a video tape. She is not happy with it's comments on Batman.
  2442.
2443. High Altitude Interrogation: Azumi does one of these as Wraith with both hands on the thug's legs, getting information on a side entrance to the Iceberg Lounge and getting the Puffin Zero frequency for the radio so she can listen in on Penguin.
  2444.
2445. I Don't Like The Sound Of That Place: Lampshaded with Crime Alley.
  2446.
2447. I Just Want To Be You: Riddler brings attention to how this is the case with Hugo Strange regarding Batman.
  2448.
2449. Leaning On The Fourth Wall: The thugs near the end talk about, among other things, what the next Arkham based place will be in order of escalation.
  2450.
2451. Let's You And Him Fight: Azumi and Arkham!Batman get into a scuffle over the tape in Crime Alley. Azumi does better, but still loses, and it's only because she asks him to stop that he finally does.
  2452.
2453. Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Azumi saved Hush's life by stopping Deadshot, and she knows it. She also ended up giving Scarecrow ideas on how to improve his toxin by accident, unfortunately.
  2454.
2455. Not So Stoic: Azumi's comprehensive call that Scarecrow is not a scientist, something he professes to be time and again, finally makes him lose his cool, screaming at her.
  2456.
2457. Only Sane Man: One of the thugs, the second one, is the only one who seems to be completely sane and intelligent enough for reasoning in the end of the chapter.
  2458.
2459. "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Azumi gives this to Scarecrow, though it will turn out to be a case of Nice Job Breaking It, Hero.
  2460.
2461. Reports Of My Death Have Been Greatly Exaggerated: Hush tells Scarecrow he thought he was dead. Scarecrow's only response is that that comment "gets tiresome after a while".
  2462.
2463. Say My Name: Azumi calls Batman by his real name of Bruce, which prompts him to leave.
  2464.
2465. Stealth Insult: Azumi says that she doesn't have time to deal with "the straw man" (Scarecrow), not because she has better things to do, but because she wants a more comprehensive look at the trash in Arkham City.
  2466.
2467. Villain Has A Point: Inverted. Hush admits that Azumi has a point in her rant at Scarecrow about not performing actual science.
  2468.
2469. Who Writes This Crap?: Azumi wonders who in their right mind would knowingly name a place Crime Alley.
