Reimu Hakurei and Bart Simpson sat out on the shrine porch. The brunette clasped her tea as the clouds moved in. The sky seemedas volatile as the border that rested behind the Hakurei Shrine.
As Reimu got up to get a snack, Bart bolts up and pours his tea into a nearby potted plant. Suddenly, he heard a swift CREAK from behind him.
"That cost money, y'know," said Reimu, holding an amulet to Bart's face.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever."
They exchanged stern stares until Bart walked to the shrine's donation box and reached into his pocket, producing a quarter into the box. A satisfying clink.
"Thanks for saving me from those monsters, Reimu," said Bart, a slight smile appearing on his face.
"It's no problem, Simpson. Just don't wander off into the Bamboo Forest so late at night, okay?" sighed Reimu, but she was also smiling.
But then, everything changed when the Scarlet Devil Mansion exploded...
