  1. General Rules:
  2. - Timer starts on file select (different for NG+, check the rules for that category).
  3. - End point is determined by the category.
  4. - Switching difficulties during the run is not allowed.
  5. - Runs must be completed in a single segment. Pauses are allowed, but the timer must remain running. If not, we will add the time in manually.
  6. - Menu Glitch is banned.
  7. - PC runs have the option to use the autosplitter/load remover. If they do, submit loadless time.
  8. - Xbox runs (or non-load removed PC runs) should submit RTA as "time with loads."
  9. - VSync is not allowed if you have a monitor with a refresh rate higher than 60Hz. In such cases, VSync must remain off. If your monitor is 60Hz or less, you have the option to leave it on.
  10. - Aside from Fresh Expert Glitch, runs should not make use of data/setup from another save or profile (i.e. Apple text skip, world warping, etc. are not allowed)
  11. - Third party software, other than keybinders, are not allowed. If using a keybinder, you must set it up to be 1-to-1. That is to say, an action must be linked to one and only one button. (Example: Jump can't be linked to both A and X.) You also cannot map a button to another button. (Example: The X button can't be linked to the A button). Macros and turbos are not allowed. The scroll wheel is expressly banned; to make verifying easier, a microphone is preferred (so we can hear how you switch).
  12. - Please refrain from submitting runs with in-game time attached.
  13.
  14. Proof Guidelines:
  15. - You must provide a recording of the FULL run.
  16. - The bottom left corner (HP and equipped weapon) must be visible. For Co-Op, bottom right corner must be visible as well.
  17. - If using the load remover, the loadless timer must be visible in the recording at all times.
  18. - In-game sound is required for all competitive runs - each category has a different definition of competitive, which can be seen in their rules.
