clear right gutter completely including the face
middle right panel, clear the text that's between the two lines in the bottom left
middle left panel, clear everything
bottom right panel, leave the ------!!

top middle panel, ignore the -----!!
left gutter, completely clear it + the face
bottom right panel, leave the left .....! in middle bubble

clear left gutter, but keep the face and move it to the bottom gutter instead

same panel, clear the overlay that's closest to the middle
same panel, clear the overlay that's bottom left, just beside the bubble
bottom right panel, clear the overlay in the middle, leave the !!
