- Terms of Service [revised 4 Jan 2026]
- By commissioning me and making payment, you (the client/commissioner) agree to the following terms.
- ---
- GENERAL
- ⦁ I reserve the right to refuse any commission request for any reason, including discomfort with the subject matter, character, or if I suspect the client is under 18. I may also suggest an alternative character or idea if needed.
- ⦁ Rude, harassing, or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated. This may result in cancellation of the commission (with no refund if work has begun) and being blocked from future commissions.
- ⦁ Please do not rush me. Allow at least one week before asking for a progress update. I will provide updates as needed, but art takes time.
- ⦁ If your commission has a specific deadline, inform me upfront before payment. I cannot guarantee rushed timelines, and additional fees may apply for priority.
- ⦁ Completion times vary depending on complexity. Simple pieces may take weeks, while longer or more complex commissions (such as multi-page comics, sequences, or animations) can take several months. I do not work stricly on a first-come, first-served basis--I prioritize and schedule projects to balance workload fairly and maintain quality. This means simpler commissions may be completed before larger ones that were ordered earlier.
- ⦁ Clients must be 18 years or older to commission any work from me.
- ⦁ For +18/NSFW artwork involving original characters (OCs): You may only commission such content with characters that belong to you, or with proof that the original owner is 18+ and has given explicit permission.
- ⦁ You may repost or share your commissioned artwork (e.g., social media, profiles, prints for personal use), provided you credit me clearly (e.g., link to my profile or tag me).
- ---
- PAYMENTS
- ⦁ All prices are listed in USD.
- ⦁ You must provide a valid email address so I can send you an invoice.
- ⦁ I will begin with a rough sketch/WIP for your approval. No payment is required before this stage.
- ⦁ Once you approve the sketch, payment (full amount or at least 50% as a non-refundable deposit) must be sent before I continue work on lineart, coloring, or final rendering. The remaining balance (if any) is due before the finished piece is delivered.
- ⦁ Once any payment has been sent, you may not cancel the commission or request a refund unless I am unable to complete it.
- ⦁ If for any reason I am unable to finish your commission (e.g., personal emergency), I will issue a full refund of any payments received.
- ---
- REFERENCES AND DETAILS
- ⦁ I require clear visual references (digital preferred) or a highly detailed written description for any original character (OC) you want drawn.
- ⦁ Traditional/hand-drawn references must be high quality and scanned/photographed clearly--colors and details must be easily distinguishable.
- ⦁ Please provide as much detail as possible about the commission, including pose, clothing, expression, perspective/angle, background, art style, and any other elements you consider important. Example images are welcome and encouraged.
- ⦁ I will not copy or imitate another artist's individual art style. I only work in my own style or in general/popular styles inspired by media (such as Happy Tree Friends, My Little Pony, anime, cartoon, chibi, etc.). Requests to replicate a specific artist's style will be declined.
- ⦁ If insufficient details are provided, I will interpret the commission as I see fit and take no responsibility for any discrepancies or mistakes in the final artwork.
- ⦁ Character design from scratch and story/script writing are additional services and incur extra fees.
- -Designing a new original character (without existing references) will cost an additional fee per character.
- -Writing the story, script, or dialogue for comic pages will cost an additional fee per page.
- -These fees will be quoted and agreed upon upfront before work begins.
- ⦁ My default style avoids pure and oversaturated colors. I do not use pure black (#000000), pure white (#FFFFFF), or fully oversaturated primary colors (e.g., #FF0000 pure red, #00FF00 pure green, #0000FF pure blue, #FF00FF pure magenta). Lineart is typically a dark desaturated color (e.g., blackish dark red, blue, or purple), sclera/white are slightly off-white (e.g., faint yellow, red, or cream tint), and all colors from references are adjusted to fit my softer, desaturated style. If you require exact pure black/white, oversaturated colors, or strict adherence to specific hex codes from your references, please inform me in advance so we can discuss feasibility.
- ⦁ You may request changes freely during the sketch and lineart stages. I will work with you until composition, pose, and overall design are approved.
- ⦁ Once coloring/shading has begun, only minor adjustments are allowed (e.g., color corrections, small shading tweaks, or minor effects). Major changes at this stage are not permitted.
- ⦁ The final degree of detail, polish, and artistic interpretation (including what constitutes a "finished" or satisfactory level of quality) is at my sole discretion as the artist. Clients may not demand unlimited revisions or challenge my artistic judgment on the completed piece.
- ---
- ANIMATIONS
- ⦁ Each distinct scene in an animation is considered a separate animation commission and will be charged at the full base price
- ⦁ Within the same scene, completely different character poses, expressions, or camera angles that require significant redraws will be counted and charged as extra characters.
- ⦁ Backgrounds are expected to remain mostly static or have only minor changes (e.g., slight parallax, camera pan, or angle shift) within a single scene. A completely new or significantly different background (e.g., character moving from outdoors to indoors, or entering a new room) qualifies as a new scene and will be charged at the full base price.
- ---
- MY CHARACTERS
- ⦁ I reserve the right to decline any commission that involves my original characters (OCs) in specific kinks, situations, themes, or scenarios that I am uncomfortable with. I may refuse such requests for any reason, without need for explanation.
- ⦁ Any characters I design during a commission that are "biologically related" (e.g., family members, offspring, siblings, clones, etc.) to my existing original characters remain my intellectual property. You may not claim ownership, full rights, or use them independently outside of the commissioned artwork without my explicit written permission.
